I've been here a few times and cannot go back. I have gotten a gel manicure twice here, both times they filed the tips at the very end, breaking the seal and they start peeling off the next day. The most recent time I went I paid extra to upgrade to the spa aroma pedicure- mostly for the callous removal. No callous removal was done. They did not scrape my feet at all. Exfoliating crystals and patches of clay were left on the backs of my legs. My nails were filed crooked and paint was left on my skin. I really wanted to like this place, new location is great and love that you can schedule online. read more

It started out as a nice experience my nails were done very nice my first two times. Then every time after that my nails were not filled in all the way in full. So my nails always look like I need a fill in before a week is out! My pedicure was also not good each time it looks like a need a pedicure after my feet dry. I called the manager Jen and told her about my experience she argued with me and told me to go to another place she said if I'm not happy. I explained to her that it's about my service being done correctly. She said her nail tech don't all have the same skills. i love blume, i come once a month and i get gel x with normally a design. every time i get my nails done they are on til my next appointment, no chips or anything they seriously could stay on for months. I had my nails done yesterday and they looked great from my point of view. It wasn't until I returned home that I noticed many spots of color missing on the sides of every single nail. I guess the sides of my nails were never painted or looked at and they look pretty terrible. It's hard to believe these cost over $100. Also unfortunate that this was for my wedding this weekend and I won't have time to get them redone. I will be filling in the blank spots with polish and removing these as soon as possible. Crowded and rude. Expensive compared to other salon and bad quality compare to others. Daughter went in for a French manicure and was charged a basic manicure with upgrade for the color tip. Did not get a base coat because they can't do it if it's not gel polish but did not explain to her so she paid $40 just for color tip and clear coat. Owner claimed basic manicure included buffing, hot towel and lotion massage but my daughter also complained that she didn't even get lotion. When I would ask for clarification for things she would sound very annoyed and repeat the same answer until I stopped asking my question. Regardless, she did a fantastic job. I went here for my first ever pedicure and I was nervous and have high anxiety. I got seated in a chair with a woman named Tina. Things were okay at first but I was a bit shaky due to anxiety and it seemed to annoy her quite a lot. Tina proceeded to say a comment on my length of my toe nails. When she was doing my toes she brought someone over and showed my pinky toe to her and they laughed. I was absolutely shocked and offended. This isn't a place I'd recommend at all. I made an appointment and specifically requested a woman. That last few times I've been there, the men rushed through my nails, filing them crooked. Less than 2 weeks since my last appointment and 2 of my nails have broken. I show up for my appointment, reiterate that I wanted a woman. They told me that I would need to wait upwards of 20 min after already waiting 10 min while other guests were being seen. The reason, because I didn't specify WHICH woman I wanted. I don't know who works there and when, ridiculous. They should've assigned someone when I made the appointment. i came in to get one nail fixed and was told they couldn't help me because the "nail fixing lady" wasn't there yet. that didn't make sense since everyone there does nails. i left, called the salon, and was told they could take me. when i walked back in and explained again that i needed a nail fix, suddenly they were able to take me and said the same guy was available the whole time. the situation was confusing and inconsistent, and i felt like i was given the runaround for no reason. the nail did get fixed in the end, but the communication and professionalism definitely need improvement. read more

The ambiance here is great and the staff was friendly enough, particularly the person at the front desk. The pedicure was completely not worth the money though. They did practically no work on any callous removal, just barely rubbing a pumice on each foot for maybe 15 seconds. My friend and I both felt like our nail technicians were pulling on our cuticles instead of trimming them, which didn't feel good. Mine created a hangnail and pulled it out, causing me to bleed. He knew what he was doing because he looked up when he did it and I indicated that it hurt, but he pulled on it anyway. It's been a week and my toe still hurts despite treating it with antibacterial cream and keeping it covered. I LOVE Blume and I travel to come here about every month to get my nails done with Moon she is the best!! The first time I went was at the old location and I had a wonderful experience there, everyone was so welcoming and kind. They have moved across the street into a beautiful bigger building and it is the perfect place for a nail salon. The interior is absolutely stunning, every time I sit there I can't stop staring at the decor and backsplash by the sink. The chairs are engraved with the Blume logo. They even have coffee that you can order apparently. I saw a sign for that when I was in there but didn't get around to that yet as I usually get coffee locally beforehand. Save your money & time by avoiding this salon! Super disappointed with the lack of professionalism & cleanliness at this place! My friend & I went to this salon together 2 times and I personally had a bad experience the 1st time but decided to give them another chance. The second time at this salon was just even more disappointing. The regular polish pedicure only lasted me several hours before it chipped ( keep in mind I wore open- toed shoes provided my the salon & the salon was running out of my nail color so they added acetone to the product....) My gel manicure only lasted me about 3 days before it started peeling! Of course I contacted the salon, expressed my concerns, and came in to get my nails fixed. The owner was extremely disrespectful & not willing to provide a solution... it seems like this is a common occurrence at this place! Eventually we took off my gel manicure, which took over AN HOUR, and the redo started lifting seconds after I left the salon. read more

However, it is pricey, it was $65 for a dip mani and cuticle treatment ($10). This was before the tip. $78 for a dip mani is a bit pricey which is the reason for only 4 stars. It was horrible as soon as I walked in. When I walked in was not greeted by the front desk lady. I went for a manicure and pedicure. My nail tech was rude to me. She didn't say hello, anything. She stared me in my eyes the entire time. While doing my pedicure she threw my feet around. Just rude and OF COURSE you all know why. (obvious reason) The manicure was not a manicure at all. She didn't soak my nails, nothing that a manicure includes. She continue to do my nails and as you can see in the picture it looks like she was playing with my nails because it's a horrible job. Long story short I will never EVER go back. We as customers give the business power and I will never go where I'm not wanted. My husband and I came here, just after we landed in town for a visit. He had heard great things about this place and I looked forward to seeing how it turned out. We had two different experience though. Tony did my nails and feet, he was absolutely amazing. I got the collagen pedi, and Wow. He didn't miss ANYTHING. My feet are the softest they have been in a long time. And I have hardly any nails and he made these nubs look amazing. I'm overly pleased with Tony. Now my husband, got a young lady that had came in late. He was sitting in the chair for over 15 min while she got reprimanded for being late. She did a terrible job and my husband ended up asking her to stop. The front desk was concerned as my husband didn't want to finish his service. I told him how amazing Tony was for me and he agreed to let Tony finish. He ended up leaving happy as Tony went in and fixed the mess she had made. What is the point of accepting appointments, if clients have to wait 15 or more minutes because you allow walk-ins to get in front of appointments?! This has happened so many times, but I've had it. The prices are higher than other salons AND I'm sitting here waiting (or worse, today I was standing and waiting) for over 30 minutes without anyone starting on me? NO THANKS. I visited this salon while vacationing in Cleveland. While getting a pedicure, I overheard the male nail tech tell the lady in the chair next to me that it looks like she hasn't had a pedicure in a long time and that her feet where in bad shape. He then made her lotion her own feet, to which she was visibly upset. After I completed my pedicure, which was done very well, I moved to a different nail tech for a full set of acrylic nails. The nail tech was obviously inexperienced. After I told him that some of my nails were longer than others, he stopped working on my nails and pulled out a sheet of paper to add up how much my nails and pedicure will cost. He then preceded to ask me if the total amount would be an issue before continuing my nail service. When I asked the nail tech if he checks to see if all of his clients can afford their services in the middle of their service, he simply looked at me and did not respond. Considering the lady who sat next to me in the pedicure chair and I are both African American, it appears that the nail techs in this salon have biases against certain customers. read more

DON'T GO! 95% of the time I would schedule an appointment with a specific nail tech, show up to my appointment and they would put me with someone else. I tried to schedule time to get my nails done with my daughter and we were regularly separated and placed with people we did not schedule with. The final straw for me, was when the tech they placed me with literally destroyed my hands. My fingers were cut, bleeding, pussy and swollen for over two weeks because the tech was so rough and careless. I reached out to the manager, but they would not return my call. They simply sent me a text message requesting photos. I sent them photos and they told me they scolded the tech and were sorry. Their solution and apology to offer me 20% my next visit but it would expire in 30 days. My hands were wrecked, my nails looked terrible and all they offered was 20% off my next visit! Customer service is TERRIBLE. I do not recommend! Don't waste your time or money. read more

Came here as a walk-in just before the holidays. It didn't look like I was going to get in but they squeezed my pedicure in after a short wait. The pedicure was pretty standard. They gave me a birthday discount and a cookie! So kind and unexpected! My tech was very funny and personable. We did a lot of chatting which I don't usually care for. My first visit here I wasn't really impressed so I wanted to give it another chance and im still not impressed. I've been following their Instagram page for a while so I had high expectations for them but I'm disappointed overall. The lady who did my fill in was very nice and did a pretty good job but I don't care much for my polish which was done by a different person. Just kind of sloppy. I had to ask for more polish on the side of my nails because it had a lot of gaps and it felt like I was bothering her or inconveniencing her. Plus she barely said two words to me. I had to pay an extra $15 for "designs" on top of an extra $15 for gel polish. $30 extra dollars for French tips is kind of steep but I wanted to try it. So let's start by talking about the nails. They did the nails really really good and I absolutely love how it turned out and I think because of the quality of the nails the high price point was worth it. However the service was not good. The guy who was doing my nails was probably the owner of the place and every few minutes he kept getting up to run the place and do things. People get their nails done for the relaxing experience but this experience was annoying and not relaxing. Also instead of using a brush to dust off the powder after filing he just hit my hand with a paper towel to take off the dust. It was a weird experience and he kept answering the phone every couple minutes when people were calling and getting up for a few minutes at a time to check on other people and run the place. People kept coming in the salon, and it was really crowded. The chairs were dirty as well. If I ever do come back to the salon then I would prefer to have my nails done by the other technicians and not the owner. He wasn't really that rude it was just annoying the way he kept getting up and overall it took an hour and 45 minutes for acrylics with normal nail polish. The only reason that this gets three stars is because the nails turned out amazing. read more

Since I was such a fan, I decided to go back, however the experience wasn't the same. I made an appointment and arrived prior to my appointment at which time I was told to sign in. The guy who is the manager I'm not sure his exact position but he makes all the appointment decisions when I come all the time, he was very unprofessional. This is my heel right AFTER my regular pedicure. I've received a regular pedicure here and other places multiple times and I've never had my heels look like this AFTER a pedicure. My heels weren't this rough before I walked into my appointment. Overall he always rude but never serviced me so I ignored it. I spent $150 here is this is the treatment I get.
