Came in for a manicure and pedicure for my birthday. My pedicure and nail tech who did it were awesome as well has the 10 minute back massage after. My 7 minute "manicure" was not. My manicure was awful and my 10 minute massage during lasted longer. I needed them cleaned up and painted and neither were accomplished. She did not soak my nails or do anything to my cuticles. She barely filed anything because she never had me wash my hands or even wiped anything off of them. I could've painted them better myself and done more at home. Very disappointed with the manicure nail tech service, attitude and everything. I will not return because of this 8 minute "manicure". Sorry to the awesome women who did my pedicure. read more

Such a shame that after only my second visit here that I will no longer be returning. My only advice to people reading this is to ASK THE EXACT PRICE OF YOUR SERVICE UPFRONT BEFORE THEY START DOING ANYTHING TO YOUR NAILS. Don't feel embarrassed if you have to ask once twice or three times, because I wish I did. I just moved to the area a few months ago and have been looking for my go to nail salon since I can no longer travel the long distance back to Bergen county to my regular nail girl of 5 years. Blush beauty nails was suggested to me by some coworkers so I decided to give it a try. The first time I went a few weeks ago before Christmas was for a gel manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was great the girl who did it was Iris - it was very thorough and she did a great job of painting my nails. The gel manicure was also good, I don't know the name of the girl who did them, however during my manicure I felt like the manager was a little pushy trying to upsell me on things for more money. I politely declined and she stopped asking. Fast forward to my second visit this past Saturday, January 9, where I again go in for my traditional gel manicure. Whenever the manager would walk by and look at my nails, who one of the employees was doing, she would comment on how short my nails were and how thin/dry my cuticles were... 1.) I'm sorry but it's January, my entire hands are dry because of the weather & 2.) my cuticles are currently bleeding during this manicure because the nail tech was scraping the buffer and nail file against them when she was filing down the old gel polish. I didn't say anything during this because I hate causing a scene so I just sat there in pain. However for the manager to come over and see my bleeding cuticles to then comment that it's my cuticles that are thin and dry but not the nail techs fault for consistently filing against them was a little absurd..it was also embarrassing for ME for her to comment on my hands like that with other customers around. For all she knows, I can be self-conscious about them. So anyway, I'm going through my gel manicure and after 1 million comments from the manager critiquing my nails & cuticles she tries to upsell me on a "gel extension" manicure. She kept saying "for you $60, for you $60". I thought OK sure why not I'll just say yes so she stops asking and she's made me feel bad enough about my horrifyingly short nails & thin cutciles already that sure maybe I'll use some extra length. For $60? Sure. Two hours later, she rings me up and says it's $80. I said "you said it was $60"...she goes no it's $80 it's 60 for the extensions only ... I'm thinking OK so where is the extra 20 coming in? Because of the language barrier there was no getting through to her. Me trying not to embarrass her or cause a scene by arguing back and forth over the price, because there were other people in the salon, I just handed her my credit card and thought to myself "I am never coming here again." She basically swindled me out of $20 when she NEVER told me not once during the service that the TOTAL price was 80. She kept telling me "for you, 60" because I was a new customer. Yeah $20 isn't a lot of money to some people but to me it's more of the principle of not being told upfront how much the service is & being blindsided at the end of my manicure that I owe $80. A piece of advice to the owner: it would've been more beneficial for you to not try and up-sell a new customer on services because it ultimately resulted in you losing them. You should've just let the customer get done what they intended & not have been pushy. That customer (me) would've become a regular client & you would've made more money in the long run that way. At this point I don't want anyone from the business commenting on my review saying "please come back in so we can fix this", the only thing I want is my money back. And to top it off, it's been 4 DAYS & look at my thumb nail and pointer finger. Already broke completely off & chipped. $80 down the drain read more

I get dip all the time and it lasts me a good 3 weeks so the fact that within a week this one was chipping didn't sit well, especially with the higher cost that my usual place. I went in to get either a regular gel manicure and inquire about dip nail powder. I walk in and a gentleman on the right asks what I'm getting, I say I want to do my nails, at this point I'm looking around for a price list. He starts shouting "gel? gel?" to which I reply "yeah, probably". I grab the menu looking list of services and he tells me to have a seat on the second station to the left--I do as I'm told and continue to peruse the services and prices. Then I'm approached by someone whom I'm assuming is the manager, she asks me if I'm removing my gel polish and I tell her I have regular polish on but that I would like a gel or dip service. To this she starts telling me about the new service they're offering it's "UV dip" I look it up in the menu listing and it says $55...she immediately goes "that's old pricing, it's $70"...hmm there are quite a few price adjustments on the list already how did you miss this one? I say "no, I think a regular gel will be fine" and she keeps pushing the "$70" service. Worst service I have experienced at a salon. 2 friends and I had 10am appointments today. We got there at 9:55, saw 3 people walk in (before they opened) and got taken. Without appointments. The owners have no idea how to run a business. We waited for 30 minutes, got started and stopped. There was no organization. Technicians moved in between customers with multiple manicures started at once. A mani / pedi took 2.5 hours. And costs more than my favorite place down the street. All I wanted to do was leave as I went to the drier. A technician pushed into me as I was sitting down, which caused my fingers to hit the fan and required a fix of my nails. Is it annoying to write 3 reviews for one place? Well, this time around I felt like they took advantage of me, and that really rubs me the wrong way. I got the french tips painted on my nails, and instead of having a set price, the guy looked at one of the girls who shrugged, then he was like "uhhh" and kept adding 5 dollar fees with rushed explanations. The other employee looked at him in shock once he told me the price. My mani/pedi with the $50 special wound up being $85, and this was clearly a price he just made up on the spot. Ive been coming here for years, whenever I am in the area. The place is clean and cute and they have a great supply of great colors, and every one is really nice. Yesterday I went in for just a manicure. I must admit, I was being kind of difficult lol. I had things on my mind and the nail girl wasn't taking off my previous polish very well. I had to ask her a few times to get the old color all offf. She finally did. And eventually did a wonderful job. Then she was putting on the new color , rather sparsely. I had to tell her to fix it. A couple of times. And she did. I might have been a tad impatient but she was kind and understanding and just listened and was not rude or abrupt- nor did she have any attitude. Whatsoever. Not only is it filthy and dust everywhere, they are rude and pushy and the whole time they just try to get you to add on services to get you to pay more at the end. Also, they told me I could pay with Venmo when I first got in since I didn't have my wallet on me, at the end it was such a disaster and they kept me in the salon for so long while they tried to figure out which QR code it was for me to pay them, I felt like a hostage and I was honestly so upset. Worst place ever. Will NEVER go back and will make sure my family and friends don't either. Only walked in because it is open on Sunday and the place across the street (great by the way) was closed. The messed up my cuticles, cut my finger twice, rushed the job, left to work on other customers in the middle of my manicure, and ended up taking almost three hours for a basic manicure/pedicure. Very dissatisfied. My fingers are all cut up. I hadn't gotten a manicure in a while and when the lady (who I realized later is the owner) noticed this, she started yelling over and over, cuticles are sticky. While I thought this place would be great due to its spacious set up and beautiful decor - the service is mediocre and the worst is how much they try to sell you as soon as you sit down. Sure the manicurists are friendly but I have stopped going there because every single time I sit down to get my nails done, I get harassed about how I should get my arms waxed, how I should get a facial to assist with my acne, how I should get fake eyelashes because mine are beautiful but could be even better - it's like walking and sitting in a commercial for everything in that store - I get dizzy because they never stop trying to sell me things! My last experience there was the worst - they had a massive sign over the door that said FREE PEDICURE WITH GEL MANICURE and as a huge fan of gel manicures, I was very excited to try it out. As I sat down for my pedicure, no one mentions anything about the special or the details regarding the sign. Then, as my pedicure is finished and I am getting my gel manicure, I notice the woman takes out a pink and white gel. I asked if I could just get a regular gel manicure (I was thinking I could choose an OPI gel color) and she said "No, the special is for a pink and white french manicure". "Oh - okay", I thought it was annoying that the details weren't posted anywhere but I could live with a french manicure. I was expecting to pay somewhere around $40 (I usually pay between 25 and 30 for the OPI gel color manicure), maybe $50 tops. Then when the woman asks me to pay, she says it was $110 DOLLARS! Needless to say my jaw dropped. How the hell is that a free pedicure if you're dropping $110 for a manicure?! She insisted it was because it was the best products they had and that it would last me over a month. I handed her the money and stormed out of there, so upset with myself for not asking about the price as soon as I had walked in. But what a scam! By the way - the nails did not last 'a month' - they began chipping at the base by the beginning of the second week; my OPI color gels have lasted 3x longer. Between that rip-off and the constant harassing of products, I have vowed to never go there again. read more

My friend and I were on our lunch break so that would have been good to know....considering I waited 45 minutes until someone started doing my nails. 25 minutes later I have a color I don't like with paint all over my skin, hangnails untouched, nails that were not the length I asked for, and a new cut in addition to the one I asked to be observed but wasn't.
