Wha a shame! I've been going to Abby for the last couple of week to be told she can no longer do a mani. I'm giving my nails a break for the month of May and June. So now my appts make up a mani AND pedi, however that's not enough money for them and so I got denied an appt. They won't do it. I'm so disappointed with Garden Nails. I came in the other week, a little early for my appointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I waited for 20 minutes and saw a manager talking to my nail tech that I booked with and was working on someone else (looked like she just sat down), both kept looking over at me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They then asked me to start with a pedicure first, which they never do. I then waited another 20 minutes and no one came over. I saw my nail tech take another person and I decided then to leave. I keep going back to garden nail spa but Def have to call before going and making sure Patty isn't there. I got her to do my pedicure today and from previous experiences of her doing my manicure would not let her go near my fingers again, but I figured it's just my toes and I was in a rush. As you can see one hour after my pedicure, she hardly did anything to smooth out my feet. She dabbed polish on my toes once per toe and rushed the entire job. I walked in asking for a manicure and a pedicure, but walked out after just the pedicure because I didn't wanna have to be annoyed looking at my poorly done manicure. How ever they apply the polish makes it last forever with no chips! I can go 3/4 weeks without any problems. I can't say that about any other nail salon I've been to. I am home visiting family and looked up the closet nail salon and I really enjoyed my experience at The Garden Nail Spa. It's beautiful, very clean and modern. And the service was excellent. For a regular pedicure you can choose from either green tea or lavender and then you have that scent for the water, scrub and lotion. The massage was incredible and a nice amount of time and the lotion had been warmed up. My technician also used a smooth, warm stone for my massage and put some paraffin/hot oil on my heels. It was just such a lovely pedicure. The gel manicure was also great. The colors and samples are organized nicely and everyone was engaged with helping to choose a color. There was not soaking of the cuticles which was different from what I normally have but my nails came out nicely. The only thing that was a bit odd was that she painted one nail at a time on each nail and I had to rotate quickly and I did a bad job because I was enjoying the cake cooking show on the TV (whoops!). But maybe this is part of the technique to keep the gel for 4 weeks which was mentioned in other reviews and by those around me. On your first visit you get a $50 gift card which is $5 off each visit and expires in 6 months which I shared with my mom. Would definitely go read more

past few times have been worse than horrible. today went for a pedicure and the woman cut my foot twice. i asked her to stop the pedicure. no color. no pedicure. no anything. they took the polish off and cut the nails and then charged me for the pedicure!!!! i got a spa pedicure which i received nothing of and she was gonna charge me $85!!!!!the woman wouldn't believe me and made me take my shoe off to take a photo of my cut. so rude. this place has gone downhill. after having to stand up for myself and refuse to pay full price it was $45 for a bleeding foot and no pedicure. disgusting. the same woman in the front has ruined this place. never ever again. i will be going back to speak to the owner for a refund. worst place ever. read more

LONG POST ALERT: I am so disappointed with the level of service from The Garden Nail Spa. I have been a loyal client and have referred many of my friends, family and acquaintances to this salons. However, this past year has extremely disappointing. I was going to Eva for my nails for a long time but she started to become hyper focused on everything that was happening in the salon and felt rushed whenever she did my nails. I then switched to Maria because I noticed she took her time however she became hyper focused as well as to everything that was happening in the salon and not the service she was providing. Today I went to the salon for my scheduled nail appointment and was taken by Maria 10 minutes late. When I sat down she told me she could not do the service fully because it was past the time of appointment, which was not my fault considering I arrived early to the appointment and she was still working on the client prior to me. I noticed the nail design was not to my liking but felt rushed because another client came into the shop and stated that was squeezing her in after me. My fault for not stating I didn't like them but I was truly speechless. Not to mention she wiped my hands with a towel and did not do the scrub and hand massage (that we technically are paying for). I ended up calling back and spoke with Tina. Tina stated I could come in and get the two nails fixed that had the design. Tina was extremely rude and told me my nails were ugly (in Spanish which I understood) and told me I was getting whatever design she wanted to do. I said absolutely not I paid for it. She then called over a woman named Karen who was extremely nice. Tina then came up to me in front of many people in the salon and told me she was not going to charge me again for the fix but I had to leave a tip. I think that is incredibly RUDE to tell someone they have to tip. I work in the industry I very well know what's appropriate to tip but find it so UNPROFESSIONAL to tell a loyal client to "make sure you tip" I will not be returning. I love going here don't get me wrong. The work, nails, and colors have always been great! But the problem has always been the staff. My friends would always ask me where I got my nails done and I would recommend here but they go "oh I went there but the staff has major attitude so I go somewhere else" and I agree with them they do. The eye rolls and huffs and puffs if you ask them to change something or do more of. The attitude when I ask something or another coat. You just learn to keep your mouth shut. Horrible! It used to be so nice but Tina at the desk is rude and their products are old. I had a pedicure which was basically a polish change because they did nothing and had to go back same day for polish to be done again because it was so thick it never dried. My daughter had gel on the toes and guess what - it came off. They fixed it - with attitude - and again it's all off. The point of gel is to not do that! And they lost definitely were talking about us when we wanted problems fixed. I have never written a review but I'm so disgusted with the attitude from Tina and workers. Never ever again. Will absolutely never be back here. This place came at a high recommendation of friends and i drove far to test them out. i Was not only disappointed but severely injured. My cuticles on 5 nails were cut to the point of bleeding, two of them became very Infected afterwards, despite frequent neosporin use and antibacterial soaks. It's been 4 days and its joy getting any better. I blame management - This place was so overly busy and they were pumping out very quick manicures like a factory sweat shop. Clearly they only care about daily quantity not the quality and SAFETY of their customers. I tried to give them a chance to write their wrong before writing this, I sent these pictures of the damage that was done. I get brushed off, told that the manicurist was there for 5 years and never had a problem, and then i get ghosted with no further response. Don't get swindled like I did.... They do a nice job on nails but a few service issues that you should know. 1. First of all, when I went for my appointment I specifically asked to see the gel colors so that I could match my pedicure color to my gel manicure. I was told any OPI color had a corresponding gel. When I chose my color I asked again to confirm that they had a gel that matched the color I picked for my pedicure and was reassured they had the matching gel. Great. Got my pedicure and proceeded to sit for gel manicure when I was then told they didn't have a matching gel color. The woman who told me this was the same one that reassured me 30 minutes prior that they had the gel. She did offer to remove my pedicure polish and redo it but at this point I just didn't have the time so I picked a close match and moved on. 2. At the end of my services when going to pay I saw they have a sign in the salon that says "If you pay in cash, you get 10% back." I was going to pay with my credit card, but since my total was significant (gel manicure and pedicure) I figured it would benefit both me and the business to pay cash. I used the atm on site and paid both a bank fee and owner of the business charges too. At this point I probably paid more in fees than I would have received back. I paid cash and was handed a coupon to come back in the amount equivalent to 10% of my bill. Nowhere on the sign does it say you receive a coupon. It says you receive 10% back if you pay in cash. VERY MISLEADING. When I asked about it I was made to feel like I was the one who was wrong. The woman behind the counter told me she already gave me a coupon and that's what I receive back. That's fine, but note to the business- update your sign. It's misleading and illegal to communicate to your patrons in this manner. read more

Let me just start by saying the salon is beautiful and elegant looking and is extremely clean which is very important to me. Probably one of the nicer appearing salons I have been to. I started coming here for regular gel manicures but the regular gel doesn't stay well on my nails. I had gotten some fancy designs with Eva which I liked. Upon hearing about the SNS manicure I inquired and they told me they did it and that Nicole is the go to for it. I arrived at my appointment and when I told Nicole that I was getting this type of manicure (keep in mind my first time EVER getting it) she couldn't seem less pleased. They showed me the colors and there had to be less than 10 options. Of course I didn't like any of them, so I told them I was good and I was just going to go. The manager came over and tried to convince me to get a different type of service. Essentially, they are know for their gel and she would do acrylic on top so it stays since It doesn't last on me. When I asked the price she told me normally $100 but she would give me a discount. I appreciate the offer but I would never spend that kind of money of my nails continuously, and ultimately, that wasn't what I asked for. I don't think they should advertise the SNS. Moral of the story this place is known for regular gel and their fancy artwork and design and that's what you would go here for. read more

I just got off work and I called asking if they could take a gel manicure and pedicure in ten minutes. Whoever answered the phone said that's fine. I get there in ten minutes and ended up waiting almost a half hour before anyone even acknowledged I was there. Finally the guy says something to a fellow coworker and someone comes over in 5 minutes. I say to her I'm getting a gel manicure and pedicure. She says "oh no just manicure. We close soon." I got there at 455. She didn't see me until 535. I told her whomever answered the phone said I could get both. She's like uhhh. I said I'm getting both. She then ends up rushing my nails. They didn't even come out great. It looks like a bunch of lumps. The only thing I did enjoy was my pedicure. And for $62 I would expect more. I would not come back here just for that alone.
