There is parking in front and parallel spots along the side of the building. I got the iced matcha latte with coconut milk and requested a little bit of sweetener. However, it was too sweet for me, next time I'll opt for it unsweetened. To eat I ordered the garden veggie sandwich and it was SOO GOOD! You can buy any of their tea's as loose leaf. What a great shop to work out of! There is an expansive wall of loose leaf tea to select from. The staff was so helpful with selecting a tea. They asked if I was looking for caffeinated tea, if I enjoyed fruity flavours and similar questions. I was recommended the paper airplanes tea. I got a chance to smell the loose leaf. my tea heaven!! Visited this place in the morning around 9am and its starting to get busy around 9:30 when all the tables will be occupied. They got a variety of sweet tea options that are special: thai tea, earl grey / london fog and rooibos, etc. which I like but dont usually find in a standard cafe. I also tried the special breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese and it was *chefs kiss*. The thai tea was good, not the best I have had 7/10 but I like that it was not too sweet. My friend likes her matcha alright. The croissants and scones are not great. I also got some loose leaf tea from their stalls, and cant wait to try it. read more

This item is one of 2 that are given the vegan symbol on the menu. I will say for a pb and j, they don't just slap the 2 ingredients on sandwich bread. It's a generous amount of crunchy peanut butter and a homemade blueberry (?) jam inside slightly toasted sourdough bread. This is truly fantastic. I truly enjoyed the meal. All sandwiches here come with chips and a pickle too, so that's even a better deal for $7.50. Total is about $8 with tax. I have just begun a journey of incorporating more vegans meals into my diet so this was a pleasant surprise for my first out and about effort to have a vegan meal. The Rosemary Carmel Latte was great! I think this was a seasonal offering but I hope they put it on the menu permanently. I LOVED the fall toast. Very simple, slightly sweet but very very good! What a lovely spot this place is...a hidden gem. It is nestled in an art deco building on MLK in between a dentist and chiropractor office. You have no idea that the small entrance door leads into such an expansive place of yea options, great espresso and yummy food. I have been going here for years, this is my fall 2024 review. I tried the carrot cake cloudy tea and it was quite tasty. For breakfast my go to is the garden grit bowl. Their grits are some of the best in town. They also have amazing scones. The service is always friendly. They have started doing a lot of pop-ups with cottage/craft bakers and you can usually find them there on Saturday or Sunday mornings. They also have many coffee options if that's your thing. Solid tea place in St Pete. Parking is a little challenging (especially since we rented a bigger vehicle this time and they're pretty jumping). Inside has some comfy seating but it is first come first served so snag a seat quickly if they're busy. Staff was generally attentive and friendly. I appreciated them bringing out our tea to where we were sitting instead of having to trudge back to the counter. It does take a while for your order when they're busy, so probably not the place to go if you're in a rush. I got a cloudy tea, earl gray classic (hot), with coconut milk which added a nice bit of sweetness. My wife got a loose white peach tea brewed hot, but they were nice enough to provide an extra cup with ice so she could try both ways. I also tried out a matcha latte that was aight. The specialty teas (Cloudy tea and matcha latte for example) can be a little pricey for the quantity. I think they both rung up slightly higher than the board. The difference was minor so I didn't feel like asking about it, just something keep an eye out for. Can't speak to the coffee which may also be great, but definitely worth checking out if you want a place with a nice variety of teas. read more

What I thought would be a one time stop at Blush, when a business associate suggested it for a meeting, has turned into this being my "go to" spot on the east side of St Petersburg. My regular, favorite breakfast is one of their specialities - the best cheese grits (I have bacon and an egg added on top) in town. We enjoy Blush so much that my weekly men's group now meets there one morning a week. I was never a big hot tea drinker, until finding Blush. The selection of teas is great and the WONDERFUL crew there are always glad to make suggestions. I have settled on my regular favorite tea- Dr Feelgood. I mentioned how great my tea would be with a shot of hot honey, and they now keep it on hand all the time. Did I mention the WONDERFUL ladies at the counter? I feel that I'm visiting friends every time I walk in. The vintage furnishings give Blush a warm, cozy feeling, while offering a kind of funky, fun vibe. In addition to the grits that I crave, they serve coffee, pastries and sandwiches. I have not tried the latest addition, which is a beer & wine bar available in the afternoon. It was 2 pm and they close at 3 pm as soon as I walked in they said we close at 3. They were not nice about it either. It's like they were pushing me out before I even got there. I can read I see it says 3 pm on the door. They ask if I'm doing work there. I said I'm getting a drink. That's what u do when you go there right? There were two people sitting on the couches. Was I not the chosen to grace this business. Other people came after me and I ordered my drink that was not inexpensive, but yet they were very unwelcoming. If you don't want people there an hour before it closes better change your time on the door to 2 pm or maybe only selective people to their choosing. Love me a good tea shop and since I was in the area, I decided to check this out. I was warned about the parking, but it wasn't too bad. Of course, I went at noon on a weekday so I could easily find a spot in front. They have lots of teas to choose from and I started with the Good Morning Detox. Couldn't quite figure out if I wanted it hot or iced, so I just got it hot with a side of ice. It's actually good both ways, although maybe I'd give the edge to the hot version. I also bought a cup of the Red Oolong and a Coffee-like tea blend too. I also saw that they made tea soda and they told me they were in the process of retooling their formulas. In the meantime, they offered to make me one with whatever tea I wanted, and I picked a citrus mate which I think worked really well. It also has a touch of agave. I really love the vibe of this place and felt comfortable leaving my stuff there while I went to the bathroom (which I can't say for all places). I do wish there was a desk or two to do work, but I did find a space close to the register with a couple small tables to have a make-shift desk. I would love to come back and recommend this to loose tea lovers for sure. read more

I desperately wish I got a photo of the biscuit sandwich I ate because it was the most beautiful and delicious looking biscuit I've ever seen. Choices for biscuits are: classic cheddar or everything. I had an everything biscuit, and the crumble to eating time ratio was perfect (as in, it didn't fall apart at first bite - I was able to eat it all with minimal crumble!) It was not blazing hot (like where the first bite burns) yet it still was the perfect hot temperature where it didn't turn cold by last bite. The bacon didn't feel chewy, the cheese wasn't overwhelmingly melting all on my hands. I can't emphasize enough this biscuit sandwich eating experience. The biscuit, though not in house made, is still from a local family bakery!! So practically in house made, just someone else's house haha. The service was friendly, the environment quaint and quiet for an early Saturday morning (which I loved). I feel like I should speak on the tea, which was also good!!! But it's also like a dedicated tea shop, so I would be surprised if they didn't know how to make a good tea latte. No outstanding notes on the tea besides it was good and well made:) read more
