On my latest install, they were professional from start to finish, although not perfect in some areas (more on that later). I'll start with the issues, and then close with the positives. On our first house, I encountered some disappointing challenges during the execution/installation phase. Our garden was trampled on, one of the windows were installed on the wrong spot, and a light fixture was damaged and the crew tried (poorly) fixing it without notifying me (all caught on CCTV). With all that said though, the company stands by doing the right thing and resolved everything on a timely manner. How it was handled was much appreciated and influenced me to use them again and refer others. On our second house, almost everything went smoothly. All windows were replaced in just two days! Just encountered a minor hiccup when a wall was damaged and a worker claimed it was pre-existing. Luckily, I purposely took before-photos and was able to provide evidence that it was not pre-existing. In the end, it was fixed within satisfaction. As for the positives, I really have to give credit to Milton, the supervisor on the second house. He was very professional and accommodating. On one of the windows, he found water damage and pointed it out to me instead of trying to cover it up. The damage and source were all fixed. Seriously, he could have moved on and I would have never known! All the windows were installed to my satisfaction. Few minor quirks remained, but possibly due to the window manufacture (or so I was explained). Also appreciate how floors snd countertops are covered to prevent/reduce damage and dust. I recommend this company. Here are some tips before using them (or any other window company): - Take lots of photos of each window before the work starts. Ensure to get several close ups and different angles of the trim and corners, both inside and out. Ensure good lighting for a useful photo. - Check with your HOA to see if it's the window replacements are allowed. Some care about colors of trim and grid vs non-grid. - Expect the order to take several months to come in. Get your quote early if it's a house you plan on moving in.

From the first time I sat down with the owner, Michael Stinson, to discuss the door, I knew this was the company I wanted to work with to build and install my new door. This is an owner and a company of integrity, expertise, and over 30 years of experience in building doors and windows. Michael is a perfectionist and expects nothing less of his people who build and do the installations. I was given a tour of the work rooms where they do their "magic" to assemble these beautiful doors, all the way from the planks of wood with the bark still intact to the gorgeous finished product. It was amazing. The gentleman who builds, sands and finishes the doors, Adolfo, is an unbelievable woodworking artist . Mario and Mario II were experts installing the door, which requires a lot of skill and is a messy job, but my foyer was as clean when they left as when they came, maybe cleaner. They cleaned up every speck, super nice men. There are so many beautiful doors to choose from, it's difficult to choose, not only the door, but the hardware as well; however, Michael is an expert in helping you choose the perfect door and hardware to match the style and exterior of your home. I rarely review companies, but this company is too amazing not to. After all, your front door is like the elegant jewelry of your home. I looked at a lot of door companies in Houston; Cambridge Doors and Windows far surpassed all of them in quality, expertise, and customer service from start to the finished install. We will def use them again for the rest of our windows! We replaced an old builder grade front door and put storm doors on all exterior doors. The front door is composite but it looks like real wood. It is really beautiful. The installations were all perfect and comprehensive. The Cambridge crew did a great job on everything: professional, great work, on time, and neat. Diana coordinated the installations and kept us well informed at all stages. One small hiccup is being resolved as I write this. They don't have a big crew so we had to be a bit flexible on scheduling, but they show up when they say they will and work hard the whole time. We will definitely use them again when we replace French doors on patio. Highly recommend this company, we are happy with everything!

I sent them what they asked for and they gave me a quote. I told them I wanted to move forward with getting it replaced and asked if they could come out to replace the window this week/weekend. They said they would need to come measure first, so we spent the next 3 days trying to nail down and date/time, but they were giving me vague answers like "tomorrow", but no time given. They said they could probably come out today (Thursday), but didn't give me a time. I asked what time, so I could have someone at the house to meet them, and they told me "around noon". I had my boyfriend go to the house to wait for them because I couldn't get away from work. He waited there until 2 pm before giving up and leaving. While he was waiting I asked J&J to call when they were on their way, sent a follow up email to see if they were coming, and sent a text asking them same....... NO RESPONSE AT ALL. I ended up sending a text back and saying not to come because I'm going to go with some else. This is not an effective way to run a business. I need to be able to set a time or time frame and know that the company I'm hiring is responsible enough to at least answer me. I can only imagine if I paid them and something went wrong, how big of a hassle it would be to have them come out to fix it. Don't waste your energy or your money on this company.

I usually ignore the calls, but I do answer occasionally and tell them again, we are not interested, and they say they will take us off their list. and then I get a call the next day. tried blocking the number but they always find a different number to call me from.
