    If you are concerned about details, BMR is the way to go. They include the details in your build that you do not even consider, that other pool companies do not plan for nor include. We have watched 3 pools going up in our neighborhood at the same time, 3 different companies, one did not include sod after ripping up the yard, one had subpar pool equipment installed. BMR really took care of us, even after unexpected COVID delays, completed the project before the expected timeline! There are many pool companies out there, but do your homework! BMR cares about doing their best and having the best people for each part of the job! Thank you, BMR and a big shout out and thank you to our project manager, Ky! He was very responsive and helpful! We appreciate you guys and love our new pool!

    We started our process in February '21 and weren't able to break ground until July '21. There of course were quite a few delays and the initial communication (from the office/scheduler) could have been better but our site manager Donaven would always keep us updated as best as possible. With construction there are always issues and things come up, but the BMR team took care of the issues and went above and beyond to make things right. We finished at the end of October. We couldn't be happier with the pool now that we're finally able to use it. We have had a few small warranty calls and the communication on those was excellent! A++++ goes to Stacey for the warranty work!

    We had several quotes for our pool and patio. BMR was the best priced (for the same exact pool, equipment, etc... as other pool companies were quoting us). We had a BMR rep come out to our house to discuss plans and get a quote. He was "excited" to be working with us....after he left we never heard from him again. A friend of ours used BMR and was very happy. When we told our friend how the BMR rep never got back to us (and we were moving on to another pool builder), he told us to call his BMR rep. We did and the experience was night and day. This recommended BMR rep was awesome and I do mean awesome! We had our pool and deck (pavers) built and they did an absolutely beautiful job. They transformed our backyard from a drab, treeless, waste of space to a private oasis. And it was thousands less than their competitors' quotes.

    Sometimes you learn more about a business from what they don't do than what they do…read more I called Fireplace & BBQ's looking for help with my 50+ year-old Broilmaster P3X. I needed diagnostics and repair, and while they sell genuine Broilmaster parts, they don't really perform that type of repair work themselves. Here's where they earned a customer for life. Instead of trying to sell me a new grill--or worse, pretending they could do something they couldn't--they recommended a local technician who regularly purchases Broilmaster parts from them. That technician drove over an hour to diagnose and rebuild my grill, using only factory-authorized Broilmaster parts purchased from Fireplace & BBQ's. The result? My old Broilmaster now looks and performs like it just rolled off the showroom floor. I'm convinced it'll probably outlive me. Could I have gone to a big-box store and bought a shiny new aluminum grill? Sure. That's exactly what one store recommended. But anyone who knows grills knows many of those are designed to be replaced every few years. My Broilmaster was built to last generations, and now it probably will. The best part of this story is that Fireplace & BBQ's didn't have to recommend someone else. They could have simply said, "Sorry, we don't do that." Instead, they pointed me to the right person, and in the end they still earned the parts business because I insisted my technician buy only genuine manufacturer-authorized parts from them. That's how great businesses operate. They put the customer first, earn trust instead of demanding it, and understand that doing the right thing almost always comes back around. Five stars for honesty. Five stars for integrity. Five stars for understanding that customer loyalty is earned--not sold. They've earned mine. Easy 5 STARS

I paid him cash, and it has not worked more than three days at the most after he has left. Today he left and the fire went out after 25 minutes and never came back.

    Not sure how this company gets 5 stars…read more.... This week we had our metal woodburning fire box fireplace cleaned and inspected by Smokey's. When I called initially I informed them I wanted a cleaning, inspection, and coating of the bottom because I was starting to get some cracks. Plus wanted a quote for a different topper. They come out to clean it but none of that information was relayed to the tech coming out. He had to ask what what being done before coming. He did a flue cleaning but the crack repair was to use some crack and joint sealant slathered in a 3" width. I asked the whole bottom to be coated, maybe a ceramic coating and painted, but that was their solution. I asked about fireplace doors and he said they would send me some information to order some. An online search with the model number has resulted in confusing & limited options. After inspecting the round chimney cap, and he came down the ladder, I noticed their heavy ladder dented my newer 6" gutters. Funny thing is some roofers came over for me later that same morning to do a roof inspection for woodpecker damage on the LP fireplace exterior trim ......without a scratch to my gutters. So, they try to bill me electronically and it takes 3 attempts by text to actually work. Within a hour and a half, I get a text asking if I've paid the bill yet. 1 1/2 hours later when I was still dealing with roofers at that point. My electrician and many others will bill and wait a day or so to pay them. I only needed them to wait until I had some woodpecker damage addressed and was almost done. Then....I get a message from Vince (4 hours after I make the payment and it comes out of my bank) asking how did Kevin collect payment?. I responded back that I paid it electronically four hours ago. No response, not a sorry, not a thank you for the confusion. Keep in mind it was already pending in my bank for four hours at that point. Communication between them two is apparently lacking and it felt like Vince was a collections service when they couldn't bill me properly in the first place. So... $350 later, my fireplace is uglier than before, the firebox isn't coated, I have a small dent in my newer gutter, they frustrated the heck out of me in the billing process, and I still am no closer to fireplace doors and a different topper...because once they have your money...they are done with you. But, hey...it was inspected and "cleaned"...which is all they are good for. At this point, my confidence is it being winter ready is questionable. Now I have to pay a different company to get me doors, a topper, and ceramic coat the bottom and reinspect it to make sure. I know the company is small and under a new owner, but I've never seen such miscommunication and lack of solutions from one company. The pictures are after the "cleaning" and small crack repair.
