My Brand new X7 wiped out on icy road. Significant damage to the front of the car. Since we were on vacation and had to drive back to San Francisco on new years day (tomorrow), Kendall BMW of Bend (on SE Division street) squeezed me in to inspect and patch up the damage to the best of their ability, so that we could get me and my family safely back home. I brought the car in at 10:30am. They finished before 1. The major repair will be done at bmwsf, but these guys at Kendall bmw got this vehicle ready to be driven for eight hours back home. Avoid them like the plague!! Being a loyal BMW customer for many years, I have never seen a more poorly run BMW dealership. From the Sales department to the Service department they make me sorry I ever bought a BMW. For my last purchase, I had to go all the way to Seattle to buy a new x5 because their stock was almost non-existent. Even after I told them I had to go 300 miles away, they still are sending me emails asking if I want to see their new cars. Talk about not "reading the room"!! Their after sales and service is horrible, now having to wait over a month for just an appointment. I had to call the service department in Beaverton just to get my check engine light diagnosed. Took my bmw in spent 8,000.00 and my car still needed towed back home.all they wanted was my money.

When test driving vehicles I could smell cigarette smoke on several of the interiors. When mentioned to the salesman they were unconcerned. After an hour of looking, I bought a 2018 BMW with 30,000 miles. A year later the car is pouring coolant out the bottom of the car. It has 36,000 miles on it and the warranty is up. The coolant hose has a recall on this model. I am 8 months pregnant and they have no loaner cars available and they are not sure when they can find the time to fix the issue. Service station has not been friendly or understanding about this situation. I will probably go into labor before getting my car back. read more

Another Update The GM actually did send some monetary compensation, and thank you for that , but again that is not way I did this review. I still feel there needs to be something done where people/consumers can trust a dealership or a salesman without feeling they are lied to. Not just Kendall Auto Group, but as an industry standard. Purchased a used car there. We didn't haggle too much on the fair-ish price, trade in was kinda low for the present market but in-line with KBB. We waited quite awhile for the Porsche customer ahead of us. It's a nicely appointed facility as one would expect for peddlers of premium German cars, EXCEPT the complimentary waters are the tiny 8 oz bottles and they clearly don't restock the (stale) pastries in the afternoon. Really? They're selling cars priced above $200K and they almost have you sharing a soaked sponge for hydration and eating stale bread. Kinda cheap (and wasteful) but maybe it's a sales strategy; easier to break the customer if you keep'em dehydrated and hungry and tired? They seemed far less cutthroat than the Kendall Toyota dealership down the road however. I have bought 3 BMW's from this business and one VW. My experiences have been very good at this dealership. My most recent car was a new 2018 BMW X3. I am living in the Seattle area now. I drive to Bend because they have been straight shooters with regards to price and ordering. I also found them to be very skilled in the service area. The manager I have worked with recently is named Chris. They know their cars and are fair to deal with. Took my 2009 Bmw in a while back and the service was fine but they decided to clean my car and well I'll let the pictures do justice. The wash was terrible and I wanted a free detail to fix it. Well it took about a week of fighting to finally get them to give me a detail for free. I will never go back to this place. Thanks Bmw ;) *now the owner is replying to me and is accusing me of false pictures. This is truly horrible, they won't take accountability for there mess up. I went in on Sunday with pricing from another dealer "over the hill" because we're retired and money is easily spent but not easily earned at this stage of life. Jeff was our salesman and Chris was the manager on duty. They both were terrific and explained all the pricing and were very patient with me. Buyer beware! These boys are absolute experts at apologizing, because they get so much damn practice. I purchased a used BMW from the dealer who shared the Carfax, lead me through a comprehensive test drive, and assured me I was practically robbing them with such a sweet deal. But I never really liked the vehicle so went back hoping to relieve myself of it and get into something I enjoy driving. However, only 18 months after my purchase, I owed FOUR TIMES what the vehicle was worth! We're all familiar with depreciation, but this was something more. They told me they could sweeten the deal if I bought something new...probably the same bargain they offered the owner before me. Ugh, barf, ew, your behavior is so slimy Kendall BMW. I bought a bmw from them not to long ago only put a few thousand miles on it. Something came up and now I needed a rig to tow some heavy loads decided to go through them again. Keep in mind I paid 19k for this car about what it was worth top dollar. When I went to trade it in to get the bigger truck they brought out kbb low price of 9k for trade in. This means they paid that for it then sold it to me for 19. The sails man lied to me when I asked if I could get it lowered to mid price range when I bought it. He told me they had no room. Made me believe they did good on trades hahaha. Service department is good though always had a good experience with them. read more

Was looking for brake repair/replacement parts (full kit) for an X5 M50i for a friend overseas. The parts needed are rare and back ordered worldwide. I checked with my BMW dealer in Bellevue, WA and nicely they were able to allocate a few dealers nation wide that may carry the parts. After a couple of regular and poor customer service experiences with different BMW dealers nation wide. I ended up talking to Dale Fair of BMW of Bend parts department. He has demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, patience and impressive professionalism. Dale and his manager also made sure I was getting the correct parts. Unfortunately, I am writing this review because of the poor service that I received on 04/26/19. On 04/26 I had brought my BMW x1 in for a detail service. I had expected a high-quality detail since they are BMW and charge ~$300. Unfortunately, the detail was unacceptable. I had arrived to claim my vehicle at 6:00pm, where during inspections I had found that there were several things that were not done, or only done partially. 1. The first thing I noticed was that there was sap on my vehicle. When I brought this to the service center's employees' attention, he attempted to remove it with Windex. Since when is Windex acceptable to use on OEM paint? 2. While further inspecting my vehicle, I noticed that not one of my door pockets were cleaned or vacuumed out. There was still dirt, grime, and crust in them. 3. All four door jams, especially the trunk door was dirty. It looked as if no one even opened the doors to clean the vehicle. 4. The leather was not clean, and if it was, the quality of the cleaning is unacceptable. There were marks (such as dried, spilled drinks) still left on the seats. It was obvious that there was no conditioner taken to it. 5. The sun-visor mirrors were not cleaned. They contained fingerprints and smudges. 6. ** I'm not sure if this is included in their detail ** but, none of the vehicle's carpets seemed to be shampooed, just vacuumed. Even after all of these issues (most of which were pointed out during my vehicle pickup) and talking with the service manager, who agreed that things were missed, I was only offered 1/2 off my next vehicle detail. I am having trouble finding this to be acceptable, since, I will not be taking my vehicle to be detailed by Kendall BMW again. I feel as if Kendall BMW offered a service that they did not deliver on. I completely feel as if I have been scammed. read more

Would not recommended. Complete lack of ownership. My serpentine belt flew off my BMW X5 which was just replaced by BMW in Bend and they refuse to pay the cost of the new belt. I already paid for the one to be installed and it clearly wasn't done correctly. I feel completely blindsided. I was stranded in the middle of Montana because of this and they refuse to help out financially. Just do the right thing.... these times are hard enough. I went to the BMW dealership to drop off my car and get some service work done when I came back to overcharge me the labor was over $200 they added other parts on that I didn't know OK which they could've called me and let me know they are the most unprofessional establishment in the United States if you want to buy a car BMW or Audi go over to Portland or go over to California to get better service. They didn't even wash my car when I picked it up, I paid my bill and left I have bought five BMWs there and one Audi I will never buy another car at that establishment again there un professional and rude and they don't have a grip on what salesmanship is. I can probably go down to jiffy Lube or auto repair down the road and get better service. The Establishment needs to go to sales Trainning and communication course they need to revamp the whole dealership if they want to sell any more cars. They also need to respect ladies that come in their the disrespect and rudeness is uncalled for. read more

I took my X1 in for my 80,000 mile check up. Seemed to be a standard check-up and walked out the door saying everything looked good with a bill for something like $550. I didn't use the car for a few days and the next time I started it (around 48-72 hours later) there was white smoke coming out the tail when I turned the car on and also a whiff of a burning smell. This all happened to be right around when the fires started in OR so I wasn't 100% sure if it was the car. I don't drive long-distances much but finally after driving 15 miles from Awbrey Butte to Skyliner about 10 days later, I actually could see a slight bit of smoke from the engine when I raised the hood. I brought in the car for a second time (2 weeks after the initial servicing) and they said it was a Valve Cover Gasket and quoted me $1100. So I basically took the car in and was WORSE off then I was before the servicing. Wouldn't they have checked this during the "multi-point" inspection? Don't you think they would have run the car after servicing it to see? Besides being a waste of time going back in, it makes the "multi-point inspection" come off as a total sham. Then the ridiculous quote. Not even an apology for making me come in 2x in 2-3 weeks. I ended up going elsewhere and got a quote for like $580 for the gasket replacement. Not only was this so disappointing for their servicing team at Kendall BMW but it actually makes me not want to get a BMW from them on the sales side either. Should really think twice about price gouging when you failed in your initial car inspection to begin with! read more

Am I really the first person to write a review for Kendall BMW?! Great! Let me start by saying if you're going to buy a car, don't waste your time anywhere else-go see Kathy at Kendall. She's a real gem when it comes to salespeople. Up front, kind and honest...and great communication! I bought an off lease 2014 335i sight unseen and when I drove the 7 hours to get it, it was better than I thought it would be. Kathy went the extra mile to send me a couple video clips too (without being asked even). The business office was very good to work with - good communication, thorough but without the high pressure sales pitches. Don't get me wrong, they'll still offer products but it's not an unbearable-do-everything-possible-to-sell-stuff kind of place. All in all, Kendall BMW (BMW of Bend) had a very nice touch. Things seemed to have changed since Carrera BMW became Kendal BMW. Our yearly oil change, which is $30 for our Ford at Robberson's, was $200 at Kendal. And then it got expensive. They found a broken engine mount bolt, which appears to happen often with X3's at 60K miles, and even though BMW used to help pay to repair this manufacturing defect, now BMW corporate and Kendal BMW refuse to take any responsibility. So we ended up with a $2000 repair bill on a 9 year old car for a manufacturing defect. All very expensive and very irresponsible. (They did give us 10% off because we complained so much.) read more
