Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this BMW dealership and would warn you to not go get an auto loan based on anything said by their finance manager Brad. After working with one of their sales representatives, I had a call with Brad to work out the final number and discuss warranties. He told me how he was a retired police officer and can be trusted, "unlike a normal car salesman". I then went and got approved for a loan and tried to buy the car the next day, but was informed it would be $2,000 more now. They knew I needed a car, as I'm expecting my first child next month, and tried to put me in a corner on this deal. It's really sad to see this kind of business being done. Out of principal, I will not be buying this car and wanted to share the experience for anyone planning to look for a car here. read more

Worst experience you can get at a car dealership. They took all my info for credit approval, only we could not make a deal on a price for car so we decided not to buy . Next day they went and pull hard inquiry on my credit. I called credit bureau thinking they did that day before and it is shoving on my report today and they told me no it is showing correct date. BMW of Bloomington puled hard credit enquiry 1 day after just to damage my credit score because we didn't by car for price he offered. Do not trust them Do not give them your info until you have deal on a paper. Credit bureau cannot remove credit score inquires only dealer can and they will not do that. BMW of Bloomington will refuse to do that. read more

BMW of Bloomington is a classy organization that goes the extra mile to ensure you purchase the vehicle you want. I contacted the dealership looking for an X Model with specific options. They didn't have what I was looking for on the lot but Greg Franklin (salesman) went and found on in Peoria. Visited the dealership yesterday in my trade in and drove away with my X3. The financing portion of the deal went well. After some good natured negotiations I was approved for a loan. The percentage rate wasn't what I was looking for so I resolved to refinance it. Bob Rowe knew I wasn't happy with the rate so he went looking for a better one, after all the first loan had been signed. He was able to find a new loan, at a much better rate, and saved me a good chunk of money each month. In closing I strongly recommend BMW Bloomington if you're looking to purchase a new or used BMW. read more

Worthy of my taking time out of my busy day to compliment the excellent, expert and friendly service I received at this dealership. I had damaged the axle of my 5 Series and was 150 miles from home. They stopped what they were doing, and examined the car and quickly diagnosed the issue. They gave me an estimate that was very accurate and fair. they managed my expectations on when the car would be ready and obviously worked very hard on a very complicated job. Supposedly got my rear brakes pads replaced and rotors resurfaced at 36k miles (under warranty) At 46k miles (not under warranty) my 328d said I needed new brakes. Another BMW service center said "no way were your brakes serviced" at 36k and gave me the parts. When I called BMW Bloomington, it was very unsatisfactory and the comment was, "no out of pocket so what is your complaint?" Taking it up with BMW North America.... read more

My brother and pregnant sister-in-law had a deal to purchase a wagon from them with the finance manager, Brad. We are in Los Angeles and they even had him run his credit at a local credit union. They had a deal that evening (they were closing for the evening and said they would do the deal in the AM) and the next day they decided to up the price by 2k! This is not a way to run a business, especially since we have purchased over 10 bmws collectively in the past. I will definitely be contacting BMW North America about this dealership. I wish I could give them a negative review. My 2009 BMW's halo light broke, I went to them and this guy gave me $100 quote to fix it. 2-3 days later I went there, a lady was there an got the light fixed for $40. I contacted BMW of USA and BMW of Bloomington to place a complaint against this guy who gave me a wrong quote. About 3 weeks later I took my car for full service. Before the service they did full checkup and everything was okay. About 2 months and 3-400 miles after service I went to a different BMW dealer in St. Louis and for battery change. He did so e check up and found out that my car had SIX new major issues including wobbling of timing chain, oil leak, hydraulic fluid leak and three more. I barely drive my car and this guy at the St. Louis BMW told me that Bloomington BMW must have dropped the ball during service but there is No way to prove Never go to Bloomington BMW Never read more

I recently purchased a 2011 Chev Suburban from BMW of Bloomington, IL. Dylan was very helpful considering I was nearly 4hrs away in Indidana. I made initial contact through their website to inquire about the vehicle. It was exactly what I wanted and listed at a price that I thought was right. Dylan was quick to furnish additional pictures/video upon request, which was helpful in making my decision to move forward with the purchase. I deducted one star not because of Dylan, but rather because I found it a bit tricky to executing the purchase with financing through a local entity in my state of Indiana. It seems BMWoB don't take checks from out-of-state customers or financial institutions. After I over-nighted some documents back and forth, I was able to make the 4hr drive and sign the papers in person. I am happy with my purchase and satisfied that BMW of Bloomington described the vehicle accurately. read more

I had a great car buying experience here. Even though it is a BMW dealership, I happened to buy a used Toyota Highlander. Our salesman Larry K. was very friendly, helpful, and easy going. I appreciated that I was able to negotiate the price via email instead of standing around at the dealership and they respected my wishes to not be contacted on the phone.
