He gave me a quote on the new car but did not have a model for me to drive fist prior to buying. He said he'd call me as soon as one came in. I waited two weeks and never to this day have heard back from him. After two weeks I called BMW of Camarillo and Marcus immediately set me up for a test drive that week. This joke of a service department will damage your car, lie, deny responsibility, mock you, disrespect you, and accuse you of dishonesty even when faced with photo evidence they are at fault. The "manager" Mr. Lemon, is the most dishonest, disrespectful, and condescending person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Additionally Mike Hernandez is equally rude. It seems these people would rather blame everyone around them for issues than do one minute of work. Customer service is clearly lost on this department. From personal experience dealing with these people, you are safer taking you car to any backyard mechanic for service than this place. If you're forced to bring you cars here for service due to warranty or otherwise. I apologize in advance for the trouble they will undoubtedly cause you. If you're looking for a new BMW, Jimmy Trieste is the best sales person to go to. He made the whole experience very enjoyable, and even let me test drive his own 330e because they didn't have any available at the time on their lot. The only negative experience I had at this BMW location was when I felt pressure coming from Jimmy's manager to make a decision the same day, which made me feel very uncomfortable and raised red flags for me to be cautious. Fortunately, at no point did I feel any pressure from Jimmy, who even encouraged me to take my time to compare my options and how to check for hidden fees that could be added on at the end, which I greatly appreciated. I've been here a few times and honestly, I feel like there are better locations. It seems like they don't happen to ever have loaner cars when I needed one and specifically requested one online. I canceled my appointment, and SB auto group called me because they thought something was wrong with the system? I call them back almost immediately and was put on hold so long, that I lost my patience and hung up. I also went back recently because I had a plastic/rubber guard pop off from the bottom of my car. Of course, every time I come here, it's never a defect issue, but due to me supposedly being careless with my car. The advisor came by and just ripped the guard, which I thought was fairly unprofessional, seeing as though he could have asked if it was okay to take it off. Not sure if this is frustrating to other customers, but I don't like seeing someone tear a piece off my car without permission, and then proceed to basically just send me on my way. I'm also aware that I'm probably younger than the average customer that walks through the doors of BMW, so part of me believes that my inquiries are not taken as seriously here. I'm giving this place 2 stars because it's a clean location, and the mechanics seem to always be extremely hard at work. Based on the countless times I've been here, I'm now considering going down south to Ventura or something. Perhaps I'll have a much better experience there. read more

My experience getting a new car was awesome because of Jimmy Trieste. I came from a long distance to buy a car from BMW SB because of Jimmy. He sent me the car pictures and his best offer, so we were able to negotiate everything in advance. Jimmy patiently answered all my questions and checked all the car features I had inquiries about. I had a great offer with virtually no pressure from the sales manager. The buying process was smooth and very easy. Everything was very well organized and the steps were prescheduled due to Jimmy Trieste did all the pre-work to eliminate any extra wait time . The car was ready to go upon arrival. I was literally in and out within 90 minutes including financing (thanks to Summer from finance, you're super fast and time efficient) and buying the extra accessories (thank you Lupe from BMW parts department). Also, they have a great technical specialist Chad, who briefly explained the main car buttons before the departure to ensure the driving safety started from their parking lot, which was very helpful. Santa Barbara BMW over delivered on my expectations for a sales experience. I had been looking for a 2023 BMW X5 45e all over the southern California area. After two weeks, I was in contract with no less than 7 Los Angeles area dealerships and was getting extremely frustrated. From salespeople simply not responding to salespeople sending me pricing for an X3, to receiving emails from four people at one South Bay location, yet not one of them following up to answer questions or provide pricing. I finally expanded my search to Santa Barbara BMW and Jimmy Trieste immediately responded with answers to all my questions on the X5 I found on their website, provided pricing options, and negotiated my BMW lease trade all in under 24-hours. Jimmy knew it was a long drive for me to get to Santa Barbra from LA and traffic would be bad on a Saturday, so he arranged all the paperwork to be sent ahead of time electronically. When I arrived at the dealership, he had my new X5 waiting for me out front, took the keys to my BMW and already had their tech specialist waiting next to my car to set up my phone and get the technology synced. He then showed me to the finance office who was ready and waiting for me and the paperwork was finalized in under 20 minutes. The counter person was very professional and special ordered my part for me. It arrived in 2 or maybe 3 days, well within the time frame promised. Why only 4 stars some may ask? BMW SB's price just seem a bit high. I have seen the part online for less from other vendors, but I want to keep my business local. Their prices just seem a bit higher than other online dealers. Came in here for a basic oil change, and quote to repair a heated seat under warranty. Kirk Richards told me to come in the afternoon and my car would be ready. I came in at 4PM and despite the call, it was not ready. He was on the phone, and acting like me being there was an inconvenience. After the service the mechanic that took a look at my broken heated seats suggested that the part was going to be a $600.00 fix. I informed Kirk that I could fix it myself, and signed the paperwork for the basic oil change. Back at home, I've come around to fixing the heated seats as I've been out of the country and the mechanic that inspected my car took off the OEM part number sticker that belongs to the circuit board. This is extremely shady as without it, one cannot find the OEM part for a brand new BMW. I will not be taking my car here after these petty games the dealership plays to retain their client base. It's unprofessional, and downright rude. Get it together BMW. My experience from both Camarillo BMW and Pacific (in Glendale) was FAR superior and more professional. I strongly suggest you buy and take your car elsewhere for service. It's the only BMW gig in town and they treat you without respect. This place has lost two purchases from my family to other dealerships - an i3 and a 4 series because of their terrible demeanor. read more

Darouny made the financing process quick and smooth. Chad helped setup our vehicle and showed us the operating basics so we could effortlessly pilot it home. They made it a quick and easy experience and we spent far less time picking up the car than I thought we would. I wasn't at all impressed with my local BMW dealerships in SLO & SM (ridiculous markups over MSRP, amateur sales staff, and underwhelming knowledge of the ordering process).
