Milpas Motors sold me a 2008 Aston Martin Vantage...convertible, manual. A very special car. Jim--the salesman--was both charming and made my first encounter with the car both welcoming and exciting. This is my first exotic--and he never once made me feel out of my league. (Although he is a savvy negotiator!) Steve finalized the deal and remained transparent throughout. As it happened, I test drove the car two weeks prior to coming back to purchase it--and, to my surprise, when I drove it off the lot, two blocks later...a conspicuously loud squeak I had not heard earlier was apparent. (It was the serpentine belt.) During the fulfillment of financing, a minor discrepancy in the material filed by Milpas (they cited the sales price a few dollars _less_ than what we had agreed), caused my bank to take pause--and afforded an additional convo with the dealership about the squeak. Steve graciously offered to replace the serpentine at his expense... Suggested I bring the car on back for the repair. Even though I was unable to do this due to international travel, Milpas honored that agreement a month later. And--while having the work done--the dealership was even kind enough to offer a pick up from their local mechanic. Moreover, since bringing the car home, the provenance of the car--everything Jim told me about the vehicle to help clinch the deal--has been verified by third parties...i.e., by an entirely different dealership's service manager familiar with the car and its former owner. The car is the most expensive vehicle I have ever purchased...but it was not a purchase made impulsively. I don't regret it an iota. I must say: I have never loved a vehicle more...it's an absolute pleasure in every way. But importantly: while--with any used car purchase--buyer beware...I'm _extremely_ grateful the guys at Milpas operate with such integrity. This is not a used car dealership like so many others. I just got a crazy a** call from the owner of this place, he complained to me for 7min ripping me a new a**hole. All because I mentioned to one of his salesman how I never got a call back from them. He then accused me of having a budget of 9k something I never said. My budget is 20k for a luxury suv that I wanted for my kids! He then said I had got emails from them! Nope! So I don't know too many people who enjoy the car buying process. Each of the salesmen were extremely knowledgeable and very upfront. If anything they over described the car to me- which I appreciate. I bought a used Model S from the dealer in July. Overall, I am not happy with the purchase and lost a good chunk of money on the deal. Dealer clearly noted in his communication that the car has Autopilot and Free supercharging. He said that he even confirmed this with Tesla service department. So I thought I paid a decent price considering the car had these two features. As soon as I got the car, I realized that it doesn't have both these features. Dealer did not have any idea about these features. His ignorance costed me good amount of money. For the price I paid for the car, I would have gotten a later year model with less miles. Autopilot alone is 3300$. Even after contacting several times, Dealer did not try to do anything about it. His ignorance about the car costed me money. read more

We decided that we were indeed serious to buy the car and scheduled a test drive to which we brought our mechanic to look over the car and tell us what he thought, on my boyfriends lunch hour. When we arrived at the lot, the car was not charged, it was not running at all. The man put a charger on the battery, etc., but he should have prepared for our appointment by making sure the car was at least charged. It was a complete wast of time, and we had the cash in hand. Warning, despicable, no integrity. Do not trust or believe anything they say. I purchased a car from them on Thursday morning. We agreed that they would take the car to my mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection; I would obtain a loan. Friday morning (next day) I called to tell them I had the loan and asked if they had taken the car to my mechanic. They SOLD the car to the next person who came in! Never told me; and gave me the biggest line of BS as to why the HAD to sell it to another. Very polite people, seemed so nice but just without any scruples. I bought a used tdi from them. I've had the car for about 5 months and had to dump about 4000.00 in to it. I had 4 injectors, a fuel pump, a bad turbo egr problems all go bad on the car in a short amount of time. I called them up because I have about a 9000.00 loan for the car and asked if they could help me out at least give me a discount on one of your mechanics to work on it.
