Here's the Good the Bad and the Ugly about America's tire and the location on Cleveland Avenue…read more GOOD. They do a first class job installing tires efficiently and cleanly with good balancing and, amazingly, the correct tire pressure. This last item seems trivial but it is the first time in decades a tire shop actually got the pressures correct; they are usually way too high. Staff is friendly and seem well trained. Waiting room is sterile, not a place you want to spend a lot of time and while there are wheels in there for you to look at, oddly, not a single tire. Waiting room is clean though, chairs are comfortable and make sure if you are to be there a while you bring any drinks or snacks as all they have is a water fountain. One would think they would have an example of each of their most popular tires in each category in there but, no, not a single one to see. BAD. The website allows you order tires and pay for them only to be told they are out of stock locally and nationally. They were correct as I could not find them anywhere either as my size is "odd" for this fay and age it seems at 195/50-15 for my 1994 Miata. There was no immediate credit issues so I contacted HQ to do that before ordering more tires on line, ensuring they were available at other locations on the web other than America's Tire. No they are not the lowest priced tires as they advertise. Costco is as they include hazard damage in their pricing while America's tire does not. Costco does not carry my size of tire though. THE UGLY. Do not make the mistake I made by going towards Guerneville Road on the small lane leading there as there is no actual curb cut to enter and exit dead ahead; it is oddly 20 feet to the left. I unfortunately did not realize that as there is no sign or barriers so over the curb i went in the Miata smashing down on the frame rails. I don't believe there was any damage but a lower car would have suffered severe damage. There needs to be a sign or barrier telling you there is no exit there and directing you 20 feet to the left. Better to simply exit on Cleveland Avenue which is how I had come in. I would return but I'd like to see me be the last person to smash the underside of their car exiting on what looks like a driveway exit onto Guerneville Road.

Of course this morning my pressure sensor went off so I had to deal with it. Called them right after they opened and explained the situation, they had time right then and said to come on over. I got there , and 15mins later , the problem was fixed and I was on my way home!!! They were able to get the screw out and patch my tire and all was good!! It was a quick easy fix and the cost was next to nothing!!! Everyone who works there is super nice and friendly. And the waiting area has fish tanks, a turtle and hot wheels set for my kid to be entertained and play with. She was super happy with all that stuff while we waited!!! I definitely will come back here when I need new tires and just for anything tire related at all. They are the best!

I don't think anybody would !!!These sensors have batteries and they go out, but the day after the service was done just too coincidence for me took over an hour and a half and $120 to replace the sensor Have you ever felt ripped off??!! That's how I'm feeling right now! I'm thinking they could at least not charge me the $50 labor? I mean I get it. I had an inconsistent vibration while driving at freeway speeds. It would go away for a little…read morewhile and come back. My first thought was that it was a loose sound deadening pad in the tire because it was inconsistent. I went to a local small business tire shop in Novato and explained my problem. I asked them to dismount the tires and check the pad. Instead, they just balanced the tire and sent me on my way. Needless to say, the problem remained. Same story at another local tire shop. I made two visits and they still refused to dismount the tire and inspect it. Both places charged me for a balancing. Finally I took it to America's Tire. There, Kevin helped me out and immediately dismounted the tire and found the loose foam pad. He put it back together and balanced the tire. Problem solved! It was very frustrating not being heard by the other tire shops, but Kevin was familiar with the problem and helped me out. I truly appreciate a business that listens to their customers.

I drive a German car, and while I'm happy with the new tires and feel much safer driving now, the reason I'm not giving five stars is because when I left, one of my sensors was going off. Their system showed that I needed to drive for about 20 minutes for it to reset. I ended up setting a timer on my phone and driving around until it cleared, which it eventually did, but I was also running low on gas, so the whole thing was a bit stressful. Before leaving, I wanted to make sure the sensor was accurate, but it ended up being something I had to follow up on over the phone with Kevin later, which was fine, but when you're spending over $1,000, that's the kind of thing that would be nice to have double-checked before sending someone on their way. Especially with more particular cars like German vehicles that have lots of sensors. That said, I really appreciate that they offer free tire rotations every 5,000-7,000 miles, and the team works fast and efficiently. Overall, I'm happy with my tires and would come back. One small recommendation: one of the bathrooms had a broken sink, and there wasn't any hand sanitizer available. With so many people using the restroom, it would be great to have that fixed. All in all, a solid place with good pricing, friendly staff, and efficient service -- just a couple of details that could be improved.

I had been going to BNC for years, simply to get an oil change. As a young woman, I am horrified to say a series of terrible events has caused me to never return again. At the last visit, I requested a smog check. Before they had even performed the smog check, they suggested I get an oil change as well. They called me back again and told me I need to get all new brakes and that they were legally not allowed to let me leave without getting them fixed. Four hundred dollars later, they completely forgot to perform the smog check (the only reason I went there in the first place), but they also quoted me over $1,200 in other repairs (I hadn't even asked them to do so). They then told me the only person who performs smog checks was gone for the day and to return another time for the smog check. As I drove off, my new brakes felt worse than before! I decided to have a friend who also works in the auto business to check the brakes for me. He informed me that the job was only partially complete. The brakes had not been fully rotated and the brake lines were not bled resulting in a slow and delayed reaction from the $400 brakes. I was also informed that a few tubes under the hood had been damaged and not only not replaced, but put together with a cheap clamp. Absolutely frustrated and angry, I called Bill to discuss what I had just found out and he tried to push the blame on me! After spending as much money as I already had and being a loyal customer for years, I was terribly disappointed in the lack of professional demeanor for the mistakes made and will never return again. read more

Regarding the comments by JP; This is Bill, the manager heard on the phone discussing prices and procedures with regards to our oil changes. We DO change all of the oil in your vehicle (oil filter as well). The receipt given to all of our customers states our quantity of "1" is for the package oil change that is "Up to 5 Quarts" with a price of $7.95 for those 5 quarts or less, depending on the vehicle. BNC is the best!!! Earlier this week i had a fuel pump and 2 motor mounts replaced on my truck. Not only were they able to take care of my truck that day the cost of parts and labor were a fraction of the cost i was quoted by another auto motiv e shop.I usually work on my own vehicles but now that i know about BNC I will let the professionals take care of all my automotive needs. Helpful and pleasant staff. There is a lot to be done to the car and jt would have to stay overnight. I would have felt better if I saw that even if the car had to stay overnight, they began working on my car after they got the keys. A bit disappointed that they did not start working on it immediately. But over all, still a good place to go for car care. read more

I stopped into Sonoma County Auto Care to ask where the sound was coming from, and they showed me that one of our lug nuts had fallen off and all the others were only finger tight. They said that if I had driven it on the highway like that the wheels likely would have come off. They fixed it for me for free. When we called GreenTech they denied all responsibility on the basis that they hadn't worked on our tires, even though the brake work they did clearly requires taking the wheels off.

In June, I had a cooling hose replaced and front breaks there also, but they didn't install the hose clamps properly and caused fluid to continue to spray all over my engine and under neath my car, by july ( a few weeks later) something was dragging under my car and I went in (kinda freaked out, seemed dangerous) but LouLou said they were at lunch and to come back in an hour- (a few people sitting in the office eating) .... so I came back in two hours BUT it looked like tHE mechanic and the Lady were leaving and the lady told me to come back the next MONDAY, very dismissive , but then the man got out of his car and ripped the hanging part out from my car and said it should be fine, .... I was stunned. It was 3:30 on Friday afternoon- and front desk girl wanted to go home- dismissed me again. NOW 2026, I got a new mechanic, of course..and the new mechanic said there are several issues including the battery and under my car there is a small hole in a hose which caused a slow oileak and splashed OIL under my car because there was no cover.... Leaving it exposed to road debris. My car is older but I have taken it in anytime I had the slightest issues. But now $5k later it's in worse shape than ever and would be thousand of dollars to clean and repair all these issues. My car is the shop again, Again because my battery- so Today- I called Sonoma auto to check the warranty on the battery they installed and got nothing but rude helpless answers from the front desk person. . Sh treats me like I annoyed her. Except, I'm a paying customer. Not there to make friends with LouLou. She's rude or she's just covering for the faulty services I received. Or both- sometimes, just taking reasonability for action is all a person needs to hear. But being meet with more dismissive behavior will only add fuel to the fire. Take responsibility, be accountable and treat customers like customers.

My car broke down on the side of River Road and it was the end of the day. I called Golden Gear and…read morethey said they could accept it but were closing soon. Our tow truck, Aloha towing, (great experience but they don't have a yelp) dropped off my vehicle there. The next morning Dylan called me and let me know they would not have time to do the diagnostic that day but would try. They weren't able to but did get it taken care of early the next day and called me around 9:00 am. Total engine replacement!!!! Say it ain't so! However, Dylan went on to tell me that he had several customers take their Hyundai back to the dealer where it was covered under an extended warranty and gave me the information I would need to take it up with them. What a roller coaster. Luckily, I was still covered under the warranty, and it is in the dealers' hands now. Pray for me! Hopefully I won't have further vehicle issues, but I know where I want to go if I do! Thank you GG!

AWESOME WAIT AT PINER AUTO & TIRE CENTER…read more I needed a very special battery for my Ford Escape Titanium and they found one in just an hour and the waiting room was very nice with a cooking show and magazines. I have been to many auto repair places in my life, and when asked by the AAA office, I am so very glad I picked the Piner address, and without a doubt, it is now my new place to get work done. I really feel they went above and beyond, and that is why I rated 5 stars. And, I am a woman so a repair shop better be as good as the Piner Auto & Tire Center, because the trust is high.

You could communicate with them directly through their website or their facebook page. But now, you can't do that, because there no way in doing this. If you have a question about a specific service that needs to be done on your car. Then AAA tells the customer to call AAA Tire Automotive instead. Why can't AAA tell me that. Aren't they the owner & operator of the buiness. AAA took over the business of Mcleas Tire Automotive on Piner Rd Santa Rosa CA, because they were near bankruptsy during the covid pandemic. And that the employees were AAA members. Well these other auto repair businesses (coogler's,wayne &sons,local heroes auto repair,firestone) are also AAA members. Perhaps, AAA should take over there businesses as well. For future auto repairs that my mobile mechanic(NorthCal Auto Mechanic) can't do, I will take my car to Coogler's on Piner Rd. Atleast they have a contact page on there website and Facebook page. Whereas, AAA Tire&Automotive does not.
