I visited there yesterday with my wife. It is a week before the grand opening so we expected there to be some set up still going on. Wow, what a really cool tasting room! Great decor, awesome Americana/Western Rustic style. The first batch beer was really good and true to their styles, I especially enjoyed the IPA and American Pale. Large inside tasting area right next to the brew equipment, nice large outside patio, and something I have not seen before in a tasting room, an entire kids play area. All the workers were nice and enthusiastic about the place. We had a great experience and I bet this place is only going to get better with time. read more

Took family visiting from another country to BNS tonight for Beer and Tacos...all I can say it was like we were having a beer at Chuck e Cheese...what the hell is with all the kids, not only there but running around screaming, throwing toys,disturbing us to a point that we couldn't even carry on a conversation. The parents were just sitting there visiting not sure if they were drinking, but most were ignoring how annoying their children were to other people there. Also what is with this toy/playroom they have there..is this a Brewery or a daycare!.The Beer is good, even though they had run out of some of their signature beers (sad)..Tacos were good, but there is nothing I experience tonight that will ever make me want go back there again..To bad! read more

This place is exactly what it claims to be and I love tha. It is a brewery that offers beer. I preferred their Saloon Girl ($5), but I tried them all of course ($1.50 for a big sample). The place is clean, simple, and isn't fussy. You grab a beer in a mason jar, go outside and sit on one of many picnic tables and you feel like you are at a BBQ with friends. I went on a Tuesday and they had a taco stand set up. 2 tacos, chips and salsa for $8, not bad. The salsa was on the very hot side, without the cold berr I wouldn't have been able to keep eating it, but I did :) Tacos were delish. My only suggestion was get some more barstools, people will stay longer inside if they can sit in the AC instead of having to stand. Also since the patio is so large and we are in East County you should allow dogs. read more

No dogs allowed. Lame. I would have liked to try their beer but they woukd even let our 13 pound old lady mutt on their patio. Only brewery I know that doesn't dogs inside or out. Hope they change their policy. read more

Have wanted to try this place as they sell a few if their beers at Barron's PL. Nice, laid back vibe. Shifflebiard, bean bag toss, peanuts and distillery. First tried a few samples: lawmaker, madeux, can't remember the other ipa,but I didn't like it. Fun just to chill out and soak in the atmosphere. Then went to the distillery in the back and tried a sampler flight: pineapple vodka - delicious but dangerous, plain vodka-yum, moonshine- yikes, never had that before, a little goes a long way $10. Just moved to Santee and excited there was a local brewery near by. Came the other day, great service, great beer, no problem. Saw that they had all you can eat Taco Tuesday. Made the mistake of coming. I knew it would probably be a shit show and boy was I right! $10 for "all you can eat" good luck getting any! At best it was a 30 min wait in line. After I sent my husband first, he took 28 mins. Thought I would get lucky because there were only 7 people I'm front of me...wrong! Still waited another 25 mins. I understand it's a legit Mexican catering company, but the line and the wait for the price is absolutely ridiculous. Also it's a brewery, why are there unattended children running around? This hasn't necessarily turned me off from the brewery but I will for SURE never come to Taco Tuesday again!! read more

The beers are good but the location and tasting room are excellent. The tasting room is amazing. Love the huge American flag and the tables with books. Great atmosphere and food beer. The staff is always friendly and you can't go wrong with the tasters. 6 bucks and you get to try 4 of their beers. read more

Seriously. The beer is great, but if you get a chance to see the band "Rons Garage", you won't leave. These guys are the best band I've heard in San Diego . Yes to the beer......out-a-control amazing yes to this band. I promise you. Really cool atmosphere and will be back and back again. read more

There is not enough great things that I can say about BNS! The laid back cowboy atmosphere welcomes you and the delicious beer keeps you there. 6/7 days of the week they have food trucks, they also have live music every weekend. Wednesdays is probably my fav night to go because it's local's night with $1 off pints and $2 off growlers (and delicious wood fired pizza to boot). One thing that I really like that's just recently started is a new speciality beer is released every Thursday. Oh and of course, they're family as well as dog friendly. read more

Came on there so called all you can Eat a Taco Tuesday with eleven of my friends paid for our beers and $10 wristbands ordered four tacos was only given two and told they were out of tortillas and no longer serving tacos. When I asked for my money back I was very rudely told by a women named Krista "You did eat right" shocked I walked away back to our table. Fifteen minutes or so later she walked over and tried to hand me back $5 that I refused that doesn't fix all of our night or your poor customer service. read more

In my last review, I wasn't thrilled with most of the beer selection, especially the harsh, high-alcoholic stout called Gatling Gun. However, I returned yesterday and ordered a flight of their IPAs and a red and found them to be good, not outstanding... But, what will bring me back is their fantastic Taco Tuesday! What a deal! Hand-made tortillas with chicken, carne asada or adobada and accompanying condiments (real guacamole), salsas, beans and rice ($2/taco or all-you-can-eat $12). Great food and a family atmosphere make BNS a good stop on Tuesdays. read more

Decent sized brewery. Kinda cool that they have live bands on occasion. Their beer however is lacking body. Every beer I tasted held promise the moment it hit the pallet and the finish was so empty and flat that you wondered what on earth happened. Nice ambiance. That's pretty much it. Strolled in there today for a quick beer with a buddy today to have a couple of drinks, as soon as we walked in we both were greeted by a friendly gentlemen and was told there are free burgers in the back.... FREE BURGERS!?!? what kind of saloon serves free burgers!?!? Already my kind of place... Sat down at this amazon bar with peanut shells covering the floor which I thought was pretty cool, ordered me up a "Gunfighter" and went to get me a burger, a couple burgers later washed down with some pretty good tasting beers, I was a happy camper. Bartend was solid! he was very nice and quick to remove the empty glasses and seemed on top of his duties. he atmosphere was an A+, felt nice being around right minded AMERICAN people with a huge American flag hanging with pride! Love the beers here! My personal favorite is the Flintlock. Nice outdoor seating area if the weather permits.

Small cozy little spot. Good variety of craft beers. They had a BBQ stand outside, and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich which was pretty tasty. I loved the outdoor sitting area. I was surprised to see so many kids running around. It didn't bother me, it was just different to see. They also allowed pets and had live music... and of course football on. I would definitely go back, I just wish there was more indoor seating. read more

This place is awesome. It was my first time going to this Brew and we went Thursday which was a race truck day. Guys brought out their Trucks and put them on display for all to see which was fun in itself. Then you walk up to the door where a food cart is, this night was Cristo's Pizza. Cristo's Pizza is absolutely delicious, I had the Honey and Garlic Pizza with Pepperoni added (I recommend trying it). The Brew itself is cool, it is Western themed which I love, there is a copper looking strip in the middle of the bar to keep your beer cold! The bartenders were all very nice and attentive. All in all I thought it was wonderful and I highly recommend people to go try it out. read more

Husband and I stopped by for the first time Saturday night. Nice and clean beer was not bad. I liked the red ale and my husband liked the new fall beer. The servers were very helpful. There's a real redneck vibe here... a bit different from your run-of-the-middle hipster craft brewery. But, hell, I'm glad to know that those folks can enjoy something other than Bud Light and it's pretty good beer with reasonable prices for pints and/or a flight. read more

BNS is a fantastic mico-brewery located in Santee! They have delicious beer, friendly staff (Gene the owner is awesome), great atmosphere, and great rotating food vendors! We used BNS as our beer vendor for our wedding, the keg was empty in no time! Can't wait to go back! read more

Finally a great local place to have a beer without all the distractions of the usual local generic places. Great and friendly owners and great beer.
