You are going to LOVE this place!! The staff is amazing, super friendly crowd, clean, games, plenty of space inside and out to hang out. Always have the Padres games playing. Definitely a place that could be that place eveyone knows your name... they have a variety of food trucks, all kinds of different foods which I love also. You won't regret coming!!

Tonight's flight. Going. Going. Gone. Cheers.

I am glad that this local brewery space did not remain idle for too long after Pacific Islander Brewing moved out (RIP). Welcome new decor changes and a removed partition wall provided additional bar area and table seating. The open concept, also pet & family friendly, lets us see the brewing tanks while providing a neat backdrop and unique space for the Trivia Night host. The front patio space has ample picnic table seats in addition to a front entrance area for pop-up eatery/food truck vendor to sell snackable bites. I have tried different tasty plates like skewers with corn ribs and rice from Ming Ouns to melted cheese with baguette and potatoes from The Raclette Stand. View their website for additional food options from burgers, BBQ, pizza, or tamales at https://darkblue-parrot-879468.hostingersite.com/menu/ We had a fun time at this year's 'Santa at Sunny' event. Holiday vibes, hoppy beer list, and awesome Christmas sweaters. RSVP'd as required so mini-me 2.0 got a neat gift from Sunny Grove Santa. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you to the friendly folks at Sunny Grove Brewing Company and congrats to Scott and Tessa the Besta for keeping the local craft beer scene going strong.

So so glad Sunny Grove took over the stuffy PIB. The beer honestly is amazing. If you are an IPA drinker the Jandals and session IPA are my go to's. Atmosphere is 10/10 great vibes. The bartenders make it worthwhile. Great service and great pop up food. Katie we love you see you soon!

Such a great local spot in the neighborhood. What stood out to me the most was that the staff was so friendly and outgoing. You could tell they enjoyed working there and being around customers, which makes for a great experience for all. I am not really a beer drinker, but she encouraged me to try a few different types and to my surprise I ordered an IPA which I would have never done on my own! It had a really good peachy undertone and balanced really well. There was also a food truck for a bite to eat!

Was here for celebration of life. Family owned the brewery. Great, amiable bar service. Really enjoyed the beers I had- Uno, Porter and Delaney Red. Man! The Delaney Red (named in honor of the family) was actually my favorite. Come out and enjoy their brews.

The staff is incredible! Very nice and informative about different beers on the menu. There is a lot of variety my favorite was la bamba the Mexican lager! There is a big outdoor patio and huge indoor space too! There are games to play and it is family friendly and dog friendly too!

Super lucky to have such a great brewery that's out in the east side of SD. It's located in a business/industrial area but don't let that fool you. They're making very interesting styles of beer and the space is very open and inviting. We got there on a Friday around 4 and it was busy but we were able to find a spot right away. They have an outdoor patio in the front and a large indoor seating area. Dogs are allowed throughout the space. I got the fogged in (hazy IPA) and my partner got the goombah (Italian pilsner). Both were very refreshing and very good flavor. Prices are right as well. We'll be back!

Our absolute favorite brewery in San Diego. The best dog friendly space with the coolest bartenders/owners and best beers. Highly recommend the Hammerhead IPA. We come in weekly with our French bulldog.

    Yum beer!

Good beer! Foosball and a large connect 4 for the kids. Friendly staff. Clean with plenty of seating and bathrooms. Kid and dog friendly.

Beach Days IPA and chicken lumpia

Great beer, great food truck. Fun place to watch the ball game and they have board games and other bar games to play with friends. The food truck is Dished Out by Gigi and it's yummy!

This place is a hidden gem for sure. Plenty of parking and lots of seating inside and outside of the business. They have games you can play, and it's also dog friendly inside and outside the brewery. The bartender was very nice and greeted with a friendly smile. Lots of great choices to choose from. The benches and table tops super clean on the outside. We didn't drink inside but could see it was clean when we entered the bar area. We each got a beer and they all tasted super yummy on a hot Saturday last weekend. So glad I came to try it. Will definitely come back again

Great little place in the back of the warehouse. You can check out all the equipment that they brew the beer. They have TVs up on the walls that you can watch the sport game on, while you are waiting for the homemade pizza being cooked outside. A place where the locals know about and have a good time. Staff is awesome and the beer is always cold and delicious.

Delicious beers, incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable staff, and a beautiful bright, open, and spacious location. Can't wait to taste even more as they roll out! We had a blonde, pale, and IPA, all great for cooling down and relaxing on a sunny summer day. The space is dog and family friendly, with both outdoor and indoor games to spread out and enjoy each other's company. There are bar height options as well as standard tables for everyone to seek out a comfortable seat. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase as well as food truck options depending on the day. Changing tables in the bathrooms are an appreciative touch for those with younger kiddos. It's evident everything was thought out with intention and care. Will definitely be a regular here!

House lager with vendor STREET MADE TACOS. Robert & Franco did good work with the mulitas. Adobada.

Of I could, I'd give 4.5 stars. Met up with friends who were visiting from out of town. They used to be local, but moved. Part of a surprise birthday party for one of them, and they'd gathered all of us for a reunion. The front area was pretty full. It was loud with activity, but the staff was awesome and brought over a few tables and barrels for us to use for a few hours. It was definitely warmer in this space since the air conditioner is not connected, but it was great to be separated from the crowd and hear each other better. We were closer to the axe throwing and golf/soccer simulator too. I heard there is a small arcade in the main dining/drinking area. There is a charge to throw axes, but it was already reserved/booked until about 4-5 pm and our party was wrapping up around 3 pm. There's no kitchen, but food trucks are parked outside for anyone who is hungry. The nachos, burgers, and pretzel bites were very good. Restroom are located in that area between the main space in front and where we were in the back. Clean rest rooms. I saw that there are some rooms on the second floor, accessible by stairs, but I saw an elevator too. A lot of parking spaces. Handicap parking located close to the entrance with a ramp to access it. Since we did not gather in the main area, I did not get to check out the tables and spacing thoroughly. From this visit, Alesmith looks like a great place to gather and kickback with adults with good eats and brews. Not too many kids or kid-activities, but there's no restrictions on having kids there. Check with Alesmith first before you go.
