The bar occasionally offers live music, but my favorite time to visit is during the holidays, when they turn it into a festive Christmas spot with holiday beverages. There are fun decorations, strands of lights, Home Alone 2 playing on the televisions, and much more to really get you in the holiday spirit. I most recently tried the Pomegranate Margarita on their seasonal menu and thought it was excellent; it was not too sweet or too weak. I should note that there are rarely servers in the lounge area, so you typically need to go up to the bar to place an order, which can disrupt the flow of fun you might be having. Overall, I think the 1927 Lounge is decent on a normal day, but much better when they have a themed takeover happening.

They have acts that incorporate thrilling tricks that keep everyone on their toes. Ocean views for miles, bay sunsets and city views the other way. High barstools along the glass and some mixed sofas and outdoor seating areas were set up for conversation or smoking. With happy hour every day from 4-7, it is one of the most generous in Atlantic City (where most aren't offered on weekends or past six pm). We had $7 margaritas, $7 long island ice teas and a good order of crispy and spicy buffalo wings for $9. And I had to come back again, because I just couldn't get enough of the view. I took one look at them and was scared to eat one but I did. They come with 2 egg rolls cut it half. They were so small and you can tell at first glance they are straight from the freezer.
