View of fireworks from the beer garden

The Borgata Beer Garden is a chill, outdoor option for entertainment at Borgata. Come to think of it, it's the only outdoor dining, nightlife choice in Borgata. It's located near the outdoor pool with scenic views of the Borgata and Harrahs hotel towers. If only there was a body of water other than the pool to overlook. The beer options are decent but not overly impressive. I liked that they had a handful of NJ options. The beers were a notch above a reasonable price running about $7-$9. If you remember you are at a casino, it becomes reasonable in theory. I was there at night to catch the Forth of July Fireworks. I'm almost hesitant to mention what a great view we had so I can go back next year without fighting crowds. There was also a cover band that played a fairly diverse set. The venue wasn't overly impressive as a whole but certainly something I'd consider as an outdoor nightlife option in AC.

This beer garden is located next to the Borgata outdoor pool. It was a little confusing to get to at first - you have to walk outside via one of the doors close to the check-in desk. The bar is large - with 4 bartenders and stools wrapped the sides of the bar. We came here on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm and they had a live band playing some popular old school tunes. They have a good amount of local draft beers including one I really liked, the Borgata Greenhead Summer Shandy. Their summer shandy is very citrusy tasting and had a bold flavor of grapefruit. Their menu also features frozen cocktails including watermelon slush, piña colada, strawberry daiquiri, and mango margarita. I got the Watermelon slush and Piña Colada and they were both delicious and refreshing - I really recommend the Watermelon slush. On Sundays-Thursday, from 5PM-7PM, they have happy hour food and drink specials. Select draft beers were $4 each, and bar bites were $6 each - their chicken tenders were very good!

And after my first and second visits, I can attest to all of the above-exceeding expectations. Saisons and farmhouse beers like Growth and Change and Poetry in Motion were tapped so fresh that you had to wait 5 to 10 minutes for your perfect pour to be ready. But being able to savor brews like a perfectly smoked rauchbier or hazy IPA while you waited, and then indulge in the effervescent flavors of fruit and spring after more than made up for it! The selection of beers is among the best that I've ever savored. While they do have those IPAs that are coveted by most, their main claim to fame is having a rotating line of those amazing saisons. The current lineup is also perfectly rounded with a spelt lager, baltic porter, biere de coupage, and a tantalizing brown ale on standby. When we went on the first night they had a fantastic singer-songwriter who took spot on requests, and were treated to awesome customer service. We were also impressed by the wide variety of seating arrangements that catered to groups of all sizes. Another thing I enjoyed was having an easy time of picking up things like a 4-pack of coffee stout, a bottled saison at a decent price, and an epic T-shirt that impressed during my last beer fest. Hail Saison!

Located…read morejust off the Boardwalk on Tennessee Avenue, it perfectly captures the laid-back beach-town vibe that makes this neighborhood so special. Great for a solo diner or a group or family. I stopped in for dinner around 6:15 PM and, as always, the atmosphere was welcoming. There's indoor seating, a full bar, and a fantastic outdoor space complete with games, a fire pit, and one of the best music playlists in town--often accompanied by live entertainment. It's the kind of place where locals and visitors naturally mix together, creating a fun and friendly energy. One thing that always makes me smile is the sign when you walk in explaining that the bartenders and servers may be outside and asking guests to let them know they've arrived. Honestly, who could blame them? With the fresh salt air coming off the Atlantic Ocean and the outdoor atmosphere they've created, it's exactly where I'd want to be too. Tonight I ordered the crab cake platter, served with garlic French fries and coleslaw. The crab cakes were very good, packed with flavor, and the fries were crispy, garlicky, and absolutely delicious. A simple meal done right. Everything was fresh and appealing, I eat small portions so I took one crab cake and some fries home with me. I did ask about dessert, nothing was available, I don't do sweets frequently, I'm surprised they don't request Momma Chocolate, at Bar32 to make some extras for days they are closed. My server, Bella, was upbeat, bubbly, and attentive throughout the evening, adding to an already enjoyable experience. Parking is easy, with both free and paid options nearby, plus curbside access. Whether you're a local looking for a regular hangout or a visitor exploring beyond the casinos, Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall is well worth the short walk from the Boardwalk. Highly recommended for good food, cold drinks, great music, and some of the best local vibes in Atlantic City.

It was not exactly quiet as the TVs and music were at a volume that would allow for conversation but you still needed to concentrate to hear the responses. The olive spread on both sides as expected with the addition of hot capicola to the mortadella, etc. I went with a root beer since I was driving. And then I headed over to Bar 32 for dessert beignets and a just made for me and for the first time, non-alcoholic grasshopper. They hit it outta the park! I saved my other half of the sandwich for after Ash Wednesday. It was even better. But, alas, no photo. You'll have to catch it next year. This '26 Mardi Gras was delish!

I entered and made a beeline straight for the restroom because I had to gooo . I quickly discovered the bathroom doors were locked and required a key code. Next thing I know, the bartender, Domingo, starts yelling from behind the bar and then comes around questioning why I was in the establishment. He made it very clear that the restrooms were for paying customers only. I firmly replied, "I plan to dine in, but need to use the restroom first. Is that a problem?" He didn't seem too happy with that response and walked away. As intended, I sat at the bar and ordered wings and truffle fries. The food wasn't particularly memorable, but the wings were a decent size. The truffle fries were fine, but nothing that stood out. Antonio clocked in about halfway through my meal and was a breath of fresh air. He was friendly, attentive, and completely changed the tone of the experience. Overall, it was a good visit with decent food and great service from Antonio. Unfortunately, my first interaction with Domingo left a poor impression and took away from what otherwise would have been a positive experience.
