Everything about Long Bar is exactly what you want in a bar. The service, the drinks, the food and the good times are fabulous. Luke and Scott make the best drinks in the Borgata, hands down! The food is small bar bites but delicious. I wish they had a larger selection but they keep it simple and everything was great! We ordered the loaded tots, smash burgers and spinach dip. The bar itself is dimly lit and beautifully set up. We enjoyed ourselves so much we came two nights! Came here for a quick drink before calling it a night... conveniently located within the Borgata and was staying overnight. Bartender was nice and no problems getting seated as it was late. Absolutely terrible service! I went with a large party on my husband's birthday and they forgot to put in his order along with mine and several other people. Half of our party got their food the other half didn't. There was no discount or anything they offer us for the mistakes made. We waited over an hour and they told us they forgot to place some of our orders and didn't offer to correct the problem. We left there hungry and found a sandwich shop that was still open and that was my husband's birthday dinner. I definitely recommend avoiding this place at all costs. Located in the Borgata, Long Bar is technically a sports bar (I think), however, it doesn't have typical sports bar vibes as it's a bit more fancy, dimly lit and only the fact that they show sports on tvs is what makes it a sports bar lol. There is typically also only one bartender which makes service a bit slow, however, he does his best and is friendly. They do have a limited menu and the pizza and wings are decent and their drinks are also solid, but there's just not anything that pushes the place over into the GREAT or OMG world, but if you didn't want a fancy restaurant or food court, this place can do the job. read more

First stop Saturday when arriving at Borgata we took a seat in the far corner of the bar and had the entire back section to ourselves as it wasn't crowded around 2pm. We proceeded to put our feet up and then did what any American would do when on vacation ordered burger sliders. When placing our order the bartender asked if I wanted pork or beef sliders, this kind of made me turn my head in a wtf moment...."Beef", I said, still in shock they had another option. The beef sliders were very good which were flame grilled, had red pepper mayo on them, and lastly cheddar cheese. Comes out three to a serving and it was the perfect amount of food for bar bites before our early dinner we had planned. I would like to mention this place has a very limited menu for food and it consists of bar food ae. flatbread pizza, tortillas, etc. Fun place to settle into the casino atmosphere. We had room reservations on a Sunday night at borgata the weekend before Memorial Day weekend. The casino was more crowded than I thought it would've been which made it really tough to get a drink on the floor later at night so we decided to stop in Long Bar for a drink. We were the first people to sit down at the bar when we arrived aside from a gentleman who stepped out and was up out of his seat when we walked in. The bar is long (hence the name) with a decent amount of seating. There are high top tables along the walls lining the room. Lighting was nice and wasn't overly bright. First thing I noticed about the menu was the prices of beer. I thought they were rather high for light beers and a very short list of craft beers. There were 4 of us and I was the last of the 4 to order as the bartender took drink orders one at a time instead of all together. My girlfriend ordered a glass of wine which I thought the pour was on the generous side. We had also ordered an absolute & ginger ale with a lemon. Not sure if something was wrong with the soda gun or the line but clearly wasn't ginger ale at first. The bartender realized around the same time we did (prior to serving the drink) and made us another using a different line that worked fine. I ordered a drink off of the Specialty Cocktail list called Double Windsor which included maple syrup. The bartender spent a few minutes looking for maple syrup and wasn't able to find it. She was apologetic which I appreciated even though I know it wasn't her fault but if a bar is going to have specialty drinks the bar should also be stocked with ingredients for those drinks. I ended up ordering a Black Martini instead which reminded me of a bay breeze with pomegranate instead of cranberry. It was enjoyable and I was happy with my decision. More customers arrived while the bartender was looking for maple syrup and the bar wasn't crowded, but by the time she was done serving us it seemed as if the bar got a little overwhelmed. It took a long time to get our check and close out and she did apologize to the people next to us and thanked for their patience. The only way I'd come back is if I wanted a drink and was having a hard time getting one on the casino floor like what happened this night. I thought the bar was unorganized, overwhelmed, and pricey. Long Bar is a decent option for Borgata when you can't get into the Sportsbook. The bartender was great, but the menu was very limited and prices were pretty high (even for Borgata) at $9 a beer. Most recently, we caught the first half of the game and relocated but I have been here years ago and it was a little more lively. It was pretty dead this Sunday after Christmas but with good company we still had a good time. I'd recommend for a drink when bouncing around in the casino. read more

Everyone was very nice but I didn't feel they were very attentive. Our waitress apologized a few times and said they were short a bartender but they also seemed distracted, too. My mom and I headed to Long Bar on Friday, since it was one of the few places open in the Borgata at 2pm on Friday where you could get both alcohol and some food. We ordered 2 glasses of Prosecco and 2 appetizers- soft pretzels and (an upscale version of) pigs in a blanket. The decor was nice, and while the bar was pretty small, there were only a few other people in there at 2pm. It was more relaxing than the B Bar, and more upscale than other casual food choices. The Prosecco actually came in bottles, which turned out to be more than a glass each- a great deal price-wise! And the bottles were adorable. The food took a pretty long time to arrive, but once it did, it was amazing. The soft pretzels were spot on, and the pigs in a blanket were made with spicy sausage. They both came with sauces, and I really liked the sweeter sauce that came with the pretzels. The Long Bar was a great place to relax, sit down for a bit, and order some tasty food and drinks. The waitresses could have been a bit more friendly, but overall, we had no major complaints! In fact, I wish I was eating more of those pigs in a blanket right now :-). read more

Such a cute little place to sit, have some slightly upscale bar food and watch some sports! I tried the lobster tacos and warm pretzels, while my friend had the Asian style wings and shared the pretzels with me. Oh those pretzels. I'll be dreaming about them for weeks! Buttery and salty and warm and just 100% hit the spot! The lobster tacos were good. I only say good because there was a bit too much avocado in the taco for my taste and it felt like they were using it as a filler so they didn't have to put in so much lobster meat, but still definitely good. I didn't have the wings but the friend said they were great and she was enjoying them immensely! (She also enjoyed her extremely STRONG white chocolate martini. Kudos to the bartender for making a drink right!). I would definitely come back again, it's slightly pricey, but really, what's not pricey in AC? read more

In the midst of the Borgata there are many bars and places to grab drinks. Long bar looks to provide more of an escape from the bars where smokers and black jack machines line the tables. While it's nice to be able to have drinks in a normal bar setting, Long Bar definitely wouldn't be my choice for doing so again. The service was non-existent for the first 20 minutes of being there. We had a table and asked multiple times for service, but to no avail. When we did finally get service, and asked for a drink menu, it took another 10 minutes. The drinks themselves weren't very good and packed with so much ice you could barely taste the mixture. It seemed rushed and thrown together with little to no care. This place does a great job at filling a previously substantial void at the Borgata. Before the opening of Long Bar, there were only a few options for dining: "Fine" (read: $100+ per head), "Casual" (read: food-court), "Bistros" (read: overpriced Starbucks) and the buffet (read: gut-buster). This place is somewhere in-between the fine and casual, as it's the only moderately priced sit-down restaurant; making it the place to be if you are looking to take your girlfriend without breaking the bank or coming off as a cheap-skate. With this restaurant being the only one in its price range at the Borgata, you would assume that they would "phone it in" due to the lack of competition. Luckily, like everything else the Borgata does, they do put forth their best effort. That being said, their menu is VERY limited; really only consisting of appetizers and pizzas. We went with the sliders and a Mediterranean Pizza. The sliders were incredible (even topping the kobe beef sliders found at the Continental). We were unsure of what size pizza we were going to get (only one size is available and a price tag of $12 can mean just about anything at the Borgata), but we were happy that it was about the size of a medium at your standard pizza-joint. The pizza was really high-quality and had that artisan vibe to it, which is consistent with the Borgata's theme. During my visit, me and the girlfriend each had some cocktails off their specialty drink menu. They are each $12, so the bill tends to skyrocket if you don't watch yourself (but, as always, it's the Borgata; buzzes don't come cheap unless you BYOB to a room). The star of the show was the Agave Punch, which is insanely potent and tasty. The atmosphere is pretty dead (maybe because nobody has heard of it yet). We went there around 8pm on the Sunday during Labor Day weekend and the place was only 15% full. This does have its advantages, of course, as a little peace-and-quiet is a nice change-of-pace after hearing slot machines sounding-off 24/7. That being said, make sure to sit towards the back, as there are no doors and the sound of the casino does intrude if you sit towards the front. All in all, this place was sorely needed and I'm glad to see that they did it right. If their menu was bigger, I would have given them the 5th star. I doubt that they will expand it though as they are probably trying to avoid cannibalizing their existing fine-dining restaurants. read more

I really like this place as an alternative to B-Bar and Gypsy Bar. It's sleek, yet casual, and not too loud nor does it push the lounge scene in your face. It's a great stop off if you're not feeling a sit-down dinner; the food is fine, namely the ceviche. Bartenders are attentive and can pour a good drink. I tasted my gf's skinny marg, which doesn't have many ingredients, but you'd be surprised how badly it can be mucked up. I opted for champagne myself, which came in a tiny, personal-sized bottle. I love everything in the Borgata and the Long Bar is no exception. This was the only bar that was open early while everything else seemed to be opening up around 4.30p. Nevertheless the drinks were excellent here, so was the food and the bartenders were very friendly and attentive. I definately will be back here. It was a good experience. I order takeout from bars sometimes and even though I've had good experiences, I don't expect the best. I was really craving some lobster mac and cheese so that's what I got from here. Let me just explain the picture: I did not eat one bite before taking this photo. Where is the rest of my mac n cheese????? That's literally two bites of pasta with a handful of fried onions for $10. It was not cheesy at all and the lobster "bits" (aka 3 tiny pieces of what looks like fake crab meat) was so disappointing. Long bar is just that - a long and narrow bar just off of the casino floor offering upscale drinks and bar food. We came here for a drink and some snacks on a weekday afternoon. Our bartender was friendly and quick to serve us. We each tried one of their specialty cocktails - a makers mark lemonade for him and a skinny red berry cosmo for me. Both drinks were incredibly strong. I appreciate a stronger drink for $12 but not so much so that I need to chase each sip with water. The food is so-so. We enjoyed the hand cut potato chips that came with a bacon and blue cheese dip. I wouldn't bother with the tempura shrimp dish - I wish I took a picture of the sad $10 portion but it was gone before I even thought of it. All in all its a decent spot to grab a drink off of the casino floor before/after dinner or a show if you like a stiff drink but don't expect to be wowed by the food menu. read more

It was my first time at AC and at the Borgata. I didn't realize the place was a basically Chucky Cheese's for old people. I was looking for a reasonably priced place, where I could grab some drinks and perhaps some food, with a younger vibe. There were no wheelchairs found at Long Bar, the place had a relaxing, clean, and modern feel. The place had a lot less people in it than the surrounding restaurants, and it was nice not having to wait. The sliders I had were so juicy and scrumptious. I wasn't expecting the food to be so good. After the sliders, I had some of the pretzels. Those too, were better than I expected: really chewy, warm, and the dip was a tangy goodness. Perfectly enjoyable place to meet up with friends for a quick bite between gambling sessions. Between 4 of us we shared a pizza, the sliders and pretzels, the latter being the most popular.
