I swung by here to get a pizza on my way back to our hotel. They have some unique food and it is good. Got the Veggie pizza and a hot honey wrap. Given that they don't have different sizes I was shocked to see how big their pizza is. It was so big they had to fold it a bit to fit in the box! Quality pizza though, the flavors of the sweet potato and whole garlic cloves was so good, we wanted to keep eating the pizza but it was way too big for two people. Hot honey wrap was delicious as well, though we saved it for the next day. Healthy feeling option with all of the cabbage and carrots and really filling. I'm stoked that this place was close to our hotel and the food was above expectations. I would certainly order from here again especially with a couple extra friends to help eat it. read more

I am in town and staying a nearby hotel for a medical convention and meetings ran late on a Friday night and all of the places I was thinking to eat at had closed or were near closing (9:30-10 PM) so I was kinda stuck and hungry. Saw the decent reviews for this southie boardwalk pizza joint so I walked over and got a pepperoni pie to go. Place was clean and empty at 10:30 with only a few walk ins for the slice special ($10.50 for 2 slices and a soda) so I grabbed my pie and headed back to the hotel, figuring I'd put the extras in my hotel mini fridge and eat them later. The pie was decent and priced fair $19.00 with not as much cheese as I usually like but a decent amount of pepperoni on it. Crust was thin and crispy but not as airy as I like it and the sauce was kinda bland but passable. If you are near the convention center and need a late night pizza or slices or a Sammie this seems like a decent option and they were open until 11 PM which helped ! read more

This was the worst tasting chicken pizza I've ever eaten. I think they bought canned shredded chicken (think canned tuna) and spread it on the pizza. Inedible. The pizza and mozzarella sticks were okay- albeit cold by the time they arrived. This is a function of Uber eats- but it still doesn't reflect well on the restaurant. Still- the sticks were probably the highlight- larger diameter than the norm and the pomodoro sauce was a good flavor. I appreciated that you could select a vodka sauce as an option for dipping. I also ordered a margarita pizza with roasted garlic added. Entire, whole roasted garlic cloves were comically scattered. It was fine- it took two hours to get the food- so I was starving, but I thought the roasted garlic would have been chopped and distributed. And finally the four dollar brownie was a pre-wrapped brand. Nothing terrible, just worthy of note- it wasn't a store-made dessert. I would try this restaurant again- but NOT utilize Uber eats to get it - that was on me. I would also just order a straight up cheese or pepperoni pizza to get a better idea of taste. Mine still had a decent taste despite being cold with entire garlic cloves (which I actually enjoyed the taste- just wish they were presented differently- it's a "me" issue). Amazing subs! Seriously amongst the best in the city. Chicken parm was one of the best I've had. Smoked vodka parm was also amazing. Ingredient quality is top tier which justifies the higher prices compared to the many mediocre pizza places in Southie. We love the oven fired pizzas at Lincoln and Capo but if you are looking for a traditional pizza, this is the place to go. We ordered two large cheese pizzas last night and our entire family agreed that it was the best pizza they have had in a very very long time. The crust is homemade and so crispy but tender on the inside and the sauce - also homemade I think - was perfect. Just the right amount of sweetness. By far and hands down the best pizza in Southie. The buffalo chicken has a perfect zing that is not too hot or sweet, making it perfect. The dough was not too doughy or crisp, it was very easy to eat. The arugula topping is delicious and is presented beautifully. The chicken vodka sub is outstanding. It is clean to eat and the amount of sauce used with the perfectly breaded cutlets pairs so well. The mozzarella sticks were to die for: the stretch of the cheese made me extend my arm all the way (!!!) and the crispiness was simply delicious. Not to mention, the staff was beyond pleasant and friendly while juggling lots of orders at once.
