Its such a convenient location to get to, the space is so bright and cheery, and I think they even have a drive-thru for takeout orders! I also appreciate that they have a full bar, though I haven't tried their margaritas yet. For dinner, I ordered chimichangas and my husband ordered fajitas. I need to remember that chimichangas are delicious, but I prefer enchiladas. That's on me, not them. I still enjoyed them, and ate all the leftovers I brought home! My husband really liked his fajitas too. Overall this is just a good, solid Mexican restaurant. The food has been really good both times I've visited, and the service has been super friendly. I will continue to eat here anytime I'm craving Mexican food, and will continue to recommend it to others as well!

We each added a fountain drink and then I asked for a side of garlic, assuming it would come with a bunch of pita bread to dip. They asked if we wanted chips or pita, and we said pita. We got 1 piece of pita to share and basically a tub of garlic. It was comical and disappointing. I'm not sure if this is normal or we needed to pay for more pita. We each had half of a pita to dip in a jug of garlic. Overall, the food seemed fresh and it tasted great. The dining area was very clean and the parking was simple. Our only complaint was the side not coming with more pita. After looking at the menu from our table, I realized they could have made ours both a combo, since we ordered drinks and one side, and we could get another side as well, but they never suggested that. We'd probably come back in the future but there are a ton of pita places around town, especially locally owned options.

The menu is simple yet kind of overwhelming as many things are customizable. They have bowls, wraps, quesopitas, sides, salads, and soups. You can make any of the entrees into a combo for an additional $5, which gets you a drink and a side. I went with the fattoush salad with dark meat chicken and feta, and Nate got the "sandweech" (wrap) combo with gyro meat. It was a bit tough to order as it was really loud in there with a lot of beeping/alarms going off and a lot of people talking all at once, so be aware if you are hard of hearing because I think that would be really difficult. However, the employees were all friendly and helpful with suggestions. I was asked some questions I didn't really know the answers to like if I wanted oil on my salad (after the dressing had been added)... so I just asked what the recommendation was. The food is prepared in front of you and everything seemed fresh. I was impressed by the size of the salad - we definitely could have split it. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well, and I loved the crunchy pita. Nate's gyro sandweech was also delicious, with plenty of sauce and tender meat. But the star of the show for me was the hummus and pita. This is the best hummus I've ever had in my entire life. It was SO creamy and flavorful. I could eat the entire container by myself. The pita was crispy and perfect to dip. They have some weekly specials that I'm interested in checking out (like Tuesdays when you can get two Dearborn sandwiches for only $10). Saturday my husband and I went to the drive through. There were literally 6 cars at the restaurant. We ordered the twin burger with onion rings and the poppyseed salad. We were the only car in line. 27 minutes later we asked for our money back and left. Meanwhile I had called the restaurant from my car three times- the first time it went to voice mail. The girl at the window told me they were waiting on the burger- 27 minutes. Meanwhile they had now given food to three cars that had ordered after. When we asked for our money back a young lady came to the window and informed us that since all their food is made to order some things just take longer. No apology- just an attitude with lots of excuses. I said "have a nice day" and left. Now if this was a one time happening it may would be understandable. This happens over and over. I have had this same experience at the Division location, the Grandville location, and this happened the Woodland location. I think we may finally cut all ties - can't be wasting that kind of time. With the prices going through the roof- our order was almost $29 - they can't possibly get away with this kind of service. Come on, Russ' you can do better. I'm going to talk to a manager today but I have an idea it won't do any good. We've had the managers standing right there when the help comes out with attitude and nothing's ever done. They're not open Sundays so we celebrated mother day 1 day early with a 4p reservation. On the return voicemail, we were offered a reservation with a request to be out before 6p (doable since 1 hour is the max we can sit in a restaurant before chaos ensues...you know, kids). Love this neighborhood restaurant - cozy, intimate, good eats. We played eye spy with their decorations (look for the 3 pigs and the lobster and the red glasses) and enjoyed 2 rounds of hot buns with really good butter before sharing the walleye and spaghetti. The dining room is large and bright, and I was the only customer there the whole time. They have a daily lunch buffet from 11 am-3 pm, so I decided to try that out first. The buffet had tandoori chicken, aloo matar, chicken biryani, chicken curry, eggplant curry, gulub jamun, chicken nuggets, fries, and some salads and sauces. I got a little bit of most things - I loved the aloo matar (potatoes and peas) and the chicken curry, but everything was hot and fresh. I decided to order the matar paneer to try as well - this is one of Nate's favorite dishes, while I usually get butter chicken. The dish was piping hot and served with rice. The sauce was not as thick as I've had before, but it was very flavorful and savory, and the medium spice level was pretty mild for me. I really liked this and would love to try their butter chicken next time. Service was good, but again I was the only person in the restaurant. There was only one employee that I saw tending to the buffet and serving me. Tandoori Hut is pretty far from my house but I'd come back for the buffet. I paid $14.99 for the lunch buffet, which I think was a very fair price.

I've been on the hunt for good brunch ever since moving back to Michigan seven years ago, and the best spot I've found is unfortunately two hours from where I live! My family makes sure to swing through at least once a year on our way back from Lake Michigan. My spouse and older kid love Sy's pot pie, and my younger kid loves the kids' pancakes with chocolate chips and sausage on the side. Not only is the food great, but Lisa is an absolute gem. She was our server when we first found this place in 2024, and on every visit since, she's made sure to stop by and chat, even if we're not in her section. We love her and we love eating here - we only wish it were closer!
