Honestly, I wish we would have hired another company to varnish our windows . The following is my experience. - incomplete work - no oversight by Bob - over charged - broken window screens -damaged window brackets pulled completely off the wall. -Hardwood floor damage caused by yanking tape . -Wood door damage. -No hardware was removed to apply varnish, and barely prepped wood windows . The previous discussion we had with Bob, as to our requests, never happened, only excuses . Bob wanted to be paid before the job was complete and there was no compensation on my part taken into account for the added days I took off work and the damages made to my home . Project: our one-story home was in need of exterior painting, i.e., stucco, wood siding, etc. I found this company on the internet. Bob promptly returned my call, came to our house to size up the project, and quickly replied with his reasonable bid, and proof of insurance. Bob later returned to go over colors and to explain what the job would entail. The crew did an outstanding job in segments: wood prep, stucco prep, etc. The job took over a week but it was done with attention to all details, cleanup, and a final inspection of the work by Bob himself. Bob and his team did a good job in a difficult circumstance on a tight timeline. I'm a Realtor (Broker - Owner of Elegant Estates BRE#01111477). I had listed a house with a vibrant red master bedroom and pink and blue children's rooms. The owner was a little late agreeing to having the master bedroom painted. Worse, the plantation shutters in the master were painted entirely in the same red. His crew started early, prepwork was appropriate for our interior shop project, workers were clean, polite and reasonably skilled. I wish I could remember his crew chief's names, but they were very good. Our shop ceilings are over 16' high, and the existing delineation between white walls and black ceiling was done terribly in the past, so Bob's crew did an excellent job touching up the black, and cutting in a gorgeous level line for the white. It has been two years since Bob Boyce, the contractor, and Ed and Manual, the painters, painted the exterior of our home. Bob responded immediately to our request for a bid and helped us choose a color different than our original design, but with which we are very happy. Ed and Manuel spent a solid week prep-cleaning stucco, removing peeling paint, filling holes and cracks, and painting with full coverage to perfection. Bob and Barry did a great job on my condo in North Park, even doing hard-to-get-at areas that I didn't expect them to do. They had to patch over some medium-size holes and now you can't even tell there ever were holes there. They also installed an overhead lamp and smoke detector for me in the entryway.
