About 5 years ago Royall Painting painted the exterior of my home. I was very happy with the work they performed. It was now time for the interior of my home to be painted. I called Gabriel Royall and asked him to give me a quote. I also called two other painters for quotes. Royall's quote was very competitive. They recently completed the job and once again I was extremely satisfied. Brad and Chris did the work (Brad also did the exterior work 5 years ago so I specifically requested him). After the painters left, the owner, Gabriel, called and asked how things went. We were concerned how obvious the rectangle looked on the ceiling and he sent out another team to insure it was more to our satisfaction. It seems that part of the problem was the ceiling is plaster and not drywall. I decided to try out Royall Painring after receiving bids from a few other companies. Gabriel, who is one of the owners, was pleasant when we met. He followed through with a detailed quote, information on their company and so much more! Not only was I impressed by Gabriel's detailed info packet, I was impressed by Gabriel's concern for my needs on details. This company was most impressive in more ways than one. Price was considered reasonable and fair and was similar to another company's bid. I liked Gabriel's quote and transparency with his information packet. The job consisted of exterior work to include scraping the old paint, repairs to the stucco, prime and paint. It involved stairs, railings, garage doors and more. It is a duplex and a single apartment on top of 3 garages. I soon met Johnny and Carlos. Another colleague, Manuel filled in for a few hours on one day. I have to say that with each day I met the guys to open the doors, they were prompt, positive and demonstrated incredible work ethics. I was impressed with the real care amd detail to the job. They covered every crack, sanded railings and walls lightly... really prepped the buildings all the way from fascia down to the ground. Not only did the guys know their stuff, they were so very pleasant to work with. It was refreshing. They had open minds to feedback which most companies seem to not want to care. They were very courteous, thoughtful and conscientious of our needs for the property. I am looking forward to hiring them again for another project soon and will definitely be referring this company to more of my colleagues in the same industry. Royall Painting did an excellent job on the entire painting of the interior of our home including the ceilings. Gabriel was great at answering all my questions- we had quite a bit of drywall repairs that they included in the painting price. I received other quotes and Royal's pricing was very competitive and a great value. Our PM, Benjamin was wonderful. He walked me through the house to make sure they covered everything and pointed out things that i did not think of, such as a part of the door jamb that had my daughter's height marked off for each of her birthdays. The team made sure to protect it and it blended in well with the rest of the new paint. He also replaced a wood trim on one of our doors that was damaged by our dog. So helpful and courteous. Our house is two stories, 3400sq ft with a large shed and 150 ft of 3 ft high wall. Gabe and I talked several times and I sent him pictures of certain areas. With 2 other bids to compare, I selected Royall. It had been 10 yr since the last complete exterior painting. Gabe gave us an early start date and Brad and Chris came and did an all day power wash, removing mold and 10 yr of dirt. We were positively impressed at the attention to detail and the precision and care they took. No painters I have known have been as careful to detail and inspection of their work. Brad suggested a statin finish for the dark brown trim and after it was applied the trim has never looked this good in 35 years. They chalked several holes in the stucco that I had missed. They cleared all the dirt from the foundation. They were extremely careful about blocking all potential overspray. They worked 11 days on our house, shed and wall. We enjoyed their friendly, talkative personalities, and their obvious interest in doing the best possible job. We are recommending Royall Painting to all or friends.
