Josh at the front desk worked especially hard with the insurance company to make sure I had brand new replacement parts installed. The finished product matched the look of the vehicle the day it rolled off the dealership lot. I couldn't be happier. The whole process was very smooth from the initial inspection, to drop off, and pick up. On the day of pickup, they cleaned the vehicle and walked me through a final inspection to check over their work. We also walked away with a small bottle of touch up paint which is always useful for those door dings you get in tight parking lots. My car was parked on the street and backed into from a driveway across the street. Minor damage, but it needed to be fixed. The car is moving to Florida in 10 days thus I took it in to Bob Carter's to see what they could do to fix the problem. They told me bring the car in the next morning and they would take off the bumper, pull out the dent as best they could, reattach the bumper, buff it out and touch up the paint. I drove it home less than 24 hours after the initial incident. The car looks great, at a cost of $200, which the person who backed into the car kindly covered the next day. I did some quick reviews online for a quality (non-franchised) body shop as I was in need of a minor repair/adjustment. I believe I had found just that with Bob Carter's Auto Body. I drove up an hour from closing time to set an appointment for a following day and I met Josh at the front counter and explained my repair. He said "it sounds simple let's take a look" after reviewing what I needed done he said "I'll be right back." Josh soon came out with a handful of specialty tools and a cloth (as to not scratch anything) and proceeded to make adjustments right there in the parking lot! In 5 minutes he was done, it looked great and it was more than I expected! I asked how much I owed him for the repair? He said "You owe us nothing, tell a friend about us if they need our help." Wow! I went to 2 other auto body repair shops in the area and they refused to give an estimate for the rust on my right rear fender since they couldn't guarantee the work. I also asked for an estimate on the hood replacement which they did. Bob's was the only one who would give me an estimate on both. After going inside to receive the estimate, I noticed from the pictures it was Bob Carter himself who gave my estimate. The replacement for my hood was cheaper than others since they were able to find a similar part for cheaper although they were willing to use an OEM, like the other shops. Considering it was simply a hood and they were going to paint it, I understood their decision. I went to 2 additional places for estimates who also refused to survey the rust so I went back to Bob's. I called them and told them I would drop it off the next morning. They said it would take less than 3 days. Sure enough, just 2 days later, they gave me a call to let me know it was complete. When I picked it up the following morning, the fender looked like new and I drive a 1997 vehicle. The hood paint blended with the front fenders and when I opened it up, they took care of the underside as well. In addition, they fixed up a few other minor repairs I hadn't gotten around to. My co-worker who dropped me off said she never saw me smile so big. Other friends who checked it out were impressed by the job as well. I truly couldn't have been happier and the staff when I picked it up were very friendly and were talking about the car in general as I waited for them to bring it out. I was expecting at least 3-4 days. I was so impressed with the turnaround time. When I picked up my vehicle, not only did they wash the outside of my car, but they also vacuumed and cleaned the floor mats on the inside of my car! The shop went above and beyond. Josh, who I worked with to set up time with the shop and who had conversations with the adjustor of the insurance company responsible for the damages, is the definition of exceptional customer service. The paint matches perfectly and you would never know it had been damaged as everything is aligned. The estimate was quick and they are approved by insurance companies. So one day on my way into work my low pressure tire light came on. I stopped at 3 gas stations to put air in my tires in the pouring rain....first one had no air, second one air was out of service and the third one I put air in my tire, but without a tire pressure gauge I had no idea of whether or not I put enough air in. Anyways I decided just to stop at this garage and have a "professional" check my tires. This was of course after I had stopped at Hi Tech down the block and was treated like crap.....the guy who helped me here was polite and courteous. He checked my tires and filled them with air while I waited inside during the pouring rain. Stellar work and awesome customer service. My wife's 2006 Acura TSX was damaged pretty bad from a hit & run, and we found these guys on the State Farm database. I've had work done at Gerber before on 2 of my cars, but their customer service just didnt FEEL right. I wanted something new, so I cross-referenced our findings with Yelp reviews, and these guys were one of the best in the area. I didnt know if I should just sell the car or have it repaired. We had no idea how to approach this at first, but Mike Carter explained a few options clearly, concisely, and patiently. He even opted to buy the car off of us. We ended up choosing to get it repaired. When we arrived to finally pick up the car a few weeks later, he showed us some pics of the progress and it was very informational. They also wrote down our radio and navigation codes on the service log for quick reference. It's those little things that impress me! As for the body work itself, it was pretty damn good. We were thinking of trading in the car after work started, but now my wife wants to keep it since her TSX looks so sexy again.
