I looked up Miromax for PDR and figured I would trust them to fix my baby. Miroslav and his wife were excellent to deal with and everything was explained as to what needed to be done to restore it to new condition. I had several over-sized dents and two that were creased right on edges (which is hard to fix) being so close to the edge. I picked up my truck three days later and it looked like it did when I drove off the dealers lot! Miromax is truly an outstanding shop that was clean, organized, knowledgeable and trustworthy. This is an award winning shop and it shows in their work. As thorough as I am, I was unable to see any of the previous damage. Not one dent, crease, dimple...notta! Car was clean and looked better than new. Don't go to a collision shop for paintless dent removal, go to Miromax. I was originally going to go to a collision shop, until they said that they were going to have a PDR shop (30 miles) from my house, do the work. I said NO, and I then chose to use Miromax. Have to pay out of pocket to a dealership to have repairs made properly. I would not trust this body shop with a Matchbox car. Door was replaced BUT the seal not properly installed, you can hear wind when driving over 15 mph. Windshield came back with 3 chips and the side mirror on the opposite side of the truck was scratched. There is residue on the leather arm rest adjacent to the door. To top it off, the customer service is horrible, a man and a woman that work the phones are very unpleasant. Communication is severely lacking and what I thought started off as a good transaction ended up horribly as soon as we held them accountable for their dishonesty. The only sign of integrity, which was appreciated, was when the owner offered to cover our rental to the tune of $2200, but that does not negate the poor craftsmanship on a $70K vehicle.

White Eagle auto body (Naperville shop) replaced my bumper in 2015. They ordered a brand new…read morebumper and painted it to match my truck. The salesman told me that it would last as long as I owned the truck and would never rust. After the new bumper was installed and I was getting ready to pay and leave the shop, they handed me a written warranty that specifically excluded rust damage. I informed the manager that potential rust damage should be covered/included in the warranty because the salesman had previously told me that it would be covered. The salesman was part of this conversation and he confirmed what I stated, which is that the bumper would never rust (because of superior paint job from White Eagle). The manager then added a hand-written note to the printed warranty page which stated "Paint warranty on bumper for life time" and he also added his signature. Well, guess what, 10 years later and the bumper is terribly rusted. It literally has large holes in it as the rust chewed right thru it.... So much for the "superior paint job" that White Eagle would provide..... But the worst part about it is that when I called their shop to discuss the "life time paint warranty" I could not get the manager to even return my call. After several non-returned phone calls I decided to visit the shop and at that point I was able to meet the manager (Chris) who informed me that White Eagle would never cover the rust damage. Of course I showed him the hand-written note for "life time paint warranty" but it didn't sway him in any way and he simply stated that they would never cover it. I asked him to make a copy of the hand-written life-time warranty and show it to the owner and requested that the owner call me to discuss, but I never heard from the owner. Summary: they will tell you whatever they need to say as part of the initial sale but later on when there is an issue their word means nothing. They won't return your calls and they won't honor their previous promises.

State Farm sent an electronic authorization to prepare a repair estimate, and the manager "Chuck" initially agreed to handle it. After several days with no follow-up, I visited the shop in person on Friday to find out what was happening. When I explained the situation calmly, the mechanic reacted angrily, used rude language (he told me "f*** yourself"), and said he was too busy to take the job. During the first meeting, I simply asked if paying cash would make the repair cheaper -- a straightforward question about payment options that any customer might ask. He said that shouldn't be a problem, but today he accused me of wrongdoing and refused to proceed. For the record -- I never asked anyone to do anything illegal or improper. I only requested a standard insurance estimate via State Farm so I could review my repair options before committing. Instead, I was ignored for days, treated disrespectfully in person, and falsely accused when I asked a reasonable question about payment. I left shocked at the lack of professionalism. I would caution others to think twice before doing business here. I saw a lot of good reviews and was ready to bring this body shop a lot of business (it's even close to my office), but this experience made it clear that some people forget it's the client who brings money to the business -- not the other way around.
