You have to come in for an inspection to get a diagnosis" which is "between $60-$120". I explained that I already had that done and knew the problem. I asked for part and labor estimation- again, refused. She said they wouldn't trust that diagnosis and I would need to come in and pay the money to get their diagnosis. It's sad they only care about money. I know the issue and I am not going to come in and pay $60-$120 to find out the estimate is much more than I am willing to pay.

I originally asked the towing company to take me elsewhere, but he recommended Precision Automotive. Unfortunately, they had already closed by the time I called, but took the call anyway and agreed to stay late to look at my car. They got me back on the road within an hour after replacing a spark plug and even added something to clean my fuel tank free of charge to ensure I got home safely. When I tried to tip them to thank them for helping me out in a pinch, they refused it but ultimately let me leave a smaller amount for them to treat their son to some ice cream. Great service. If I lived locally, I would take my car here.

They looked at the car and cleaned a part that they thought could have some more life left to try to save me some money in a very short time period after dropping the car off. Unfortunately, cleaning the part didn't work so I went back two days later, they asked me to come in right away, so I did. They told me that they thought the part would be around $300 and they would have it the next day. I went in two days later because I couldn't make it the next day and in about 20 minutes he had the new part in and it costed less than half of what I expected to have to pay! I would definitely recommend to anyone and will go there again! Great service and friendly staff!

I had a local repair shop take my transmission out of my 92" Blazer and take it to P&R in April of…read more2015 to be rebuilt at a cost of $1300.00. It took them 2 and a half weeks to get done. However upon receiving my truck back it didn't shift properly. So back to P&R they looked at it and determined the torque converter was bad. I then got it back on or about May the 8th the next day I go out to leave for work and a big puddle of trans fluid under my truck. Take it back again they go through it again bring it back on May the 13th. Now not only is it leaking but slams into 2nd gear and has no passing gear. I call my local guy who tells me it's because my truck is a dog doesn't run right needs a tune up. This guy is another story. I go get new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and a fuel filter. It did help but still leaked and didn't shift worth $1300. I called P&R personally spoke with the owner John who told me he was tired of my shit and to go Fuck myself. Since then I add about a quart of fluid per month and drive like an old lady. I was trying to make it last until tax time because I had to borrow the first $1300. On Sept,21st my trans lost all gears I contacted my guy and he said call P&R so I called John who said get it towed and he will look at it. Mind you I didn't want to get told to go fuck myself again but I called and he was nicer. They have had it sitting outside since October 1st have not even pulled into the shop. If this is how they handle warranty work I hope they get it right the 5th time. So upset right now! All of this and I never got the receipt I asked for the first time. This time I'll have a cop with me when I pick it up and John can tell a cop why he won't give me a receipt. I called today before putting this up John said he can't get it in until next week.

When I dropped the vehicle off, I was told that service typically takes 4-5 days. I figured this would be a little bit longer since I knew a supplement would be needed to the original service estimate done by my insurance company. I called on 8/8 at 4:03pm and left a voicemail. I asked for the status of my vehicle and left a phone number for call back. I did not receive a return phone call. I called again on 8/12 at 12:49pm and was able to talk to someone. I was told that the supplement was approved, and that the car should be ready soon. I was told that they would call me back and let me know when I could expect my car to be finished. I did not receive a return phone call with a more precise timeframe. I called again on 8/19 at 2:24pm, I was told that the finishing touches were being done and that it would be ready in 1-2 days. On 8/22, I stopped in since I hadn't heard anything, and it was over the 2 days I was told. The lady at the desk called in back and asked for the status. Now I was told that it would be ready on Wednesday, 8/27. I asked the front desk lady what the holdup has been with this because initially I was told 4-5 days. She said that the supplement held it up. I said that was approved two weeks ago. She responded that it wasn't approved on their end, to which I replied, you guys told me it was approved on 8/12. Then she said that the hood/trunk was the issue and implied that it was on the supplement. I told her that was on the initial quote so that shouldn't be the hold up. Then the reason became that it's the PDR guys. At this point, I left since I knew I wasn't getting a straight answer from her. I reached out to the owner to let him know what was going on. He assured that my vehicle would be ready on 8/27. I was able to pick up my vehicle on 8/27, however it was not finished. When I picked it up "Sonata" was not placed on the trunk, there were dents in the chrome trim, and a dent in the driver's side door. Slim n Hanks had to turn in a secondary supplement because the dents in the trim were not originally quoted in their supplement. This secondary supplement would have totaled my car with my insurance company, if the original supplement had not been almost completed. I was then told that one part was on backorder. I checked in frequently to see when the part would be in. I was told I could call the service department and try to hurry them up. I was told that the part finally came in once I said let's go ahead and get the other parts installed. I was then told to take my vehicle in on 11/11 to have everything finished. When I dropped my vehicle off, the person at the desk did not have me scheduled for the day and didn't know why I was there. After letting them know that I was speaking with the owner and he told me to bring it in for the trim, dent in door, and to have the Sonata placed on the trunk. He said okay we will get it done today. I went to pick it up, "Sonata" wasn't on the trunk, the dent was still in the driver's door, and a trim piece still needed fixed due to coming in damaged. I then took my car back 11/25, to get everything finished. When I picked it up, there were still dents on one of the trim pieces and the dent in the door. I was told that the dent in the door was from the ordinally stamping of the vehicle, however another body shop said it was from the hail and fixed it along with the last trim piece. They had my vehicle for 21 working days, after being told 4-5 days, and still couldn't complete the job.
