    Chicken fingers

There were at least 5 people "working " in this restaurant. There were no other customers in the restaurant when we came in. We should have just turned around and walked out, but I was starving. The service was BAD, the food AWFUL, yup... should have walked back out. Who ever runs or owns this Bob Evans, you should be ashamed of yourself. Just flipping horrendous! My food had chunks of burnt ??something?? Scattered through it. The chicken fingers tasted like rubber onion rings. The peach tea tasted like it came out of a chemical bath. The more we looked around, the worse it got. Shame shame shame !

    Trash on the floor.

We came into an empty restaurant. We were the only customers and the restaurant is dirty, no paper towels in the bathroom, trash on the floor, food on the seats across from our booth. Food took a long time to arrive and the best I can say is it will hold me over until breakfast. Not impressed.

Absolutely will NEVER go to this Bob Evans again! Waitress was not good...had to ask for lemon twice and ask for our bread, which was to come with our meal. Regretted even asking for it when the banana nut bread was doughy! Lunch came and chicken was like eating stringy rubber! My husband's fork had some slimy substance wrapped around it! The manager said we could get another meal...we said no, we are done! Told him we were there because of a gift card we had because service was horrible last time but that he could just have it back because we are never coming back! He said he didn't want it back. We were literally sick to our stomach when we left there.

if i could rate 0 stars i would. This place is terrible. 3 workers doing everything. took 45 minutes for our food to come out and was terrible.

This is the chicken pot pie advertised and the reality of what I received

This is not a covid issue- this is piss poor kitchen service issue- this was supposed to be a pot pie- ordered through door dash from this Bob evens- it was completely flattened, cold, and an embarrassment to call food. The potato cheese soup I ordered with it was a cool congealed glop of velveta and a few potato chunks that was too vile to even consider safe to eat. I understand difficulties during a pandemic, but totally inedible, disgusting food is not excusable at any time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to anyone

I like Bob Evans because their sausage links are top notch. I'm not going to eat breakfast at Bob's and not have that sausage. Excellent stuff. Tasty and somehow, I don't have the burps for hours and hours. That's worth a star right there. Service today was decent though not great. I didn't get offered a coffee refill until the end of my meal but my waitress did ask if I'd like a coffee for the road, so that made up for it. Eggs, home fries, toast. Easy. I wasn't in a biscuit mood today, but they do have good biscuits.

Food was good and the staff was friendly, but the service was slower than it should have been with as few people that were in there.

The meatloaf was fair, but I'm not a big fan of chopped meat in any form due to the grease and all the negatives of meat in general, especially chopped meat and chicken. The server was a young woman who initially indicated her displeasure at my asking questions about the slight difference between the online and in restaurant menu (no senior citizen choices in the online version for example and a couple of other differences) she told me they don't like to advertise the senior menu (wow!). I guess that says something about senior citizen business but I'm unsure if it's good or negative. Another surprise came when I asked what the difference was in the number of ribs or weight between 1/4 rack and half rack choices. She to me 1/4 was 2 or 3 ribs and half rack was 2 or 3 as well. I tried to clarify in my head if it was literally by the bone or by weight. She became defensive and I could tell she wasn't happy with my question, drilling for a precise answer not a guess. But again rather than make her more perplexed or more unappreciative of my question I just chalked it up to today's generation and lower schooling on precision than my generation. That changed the relationship for the better and all was fine after. She was attentive to my requests and did a great job bringing everything correctly and the other things like wash n dry type towelettes for the rib eating. The place is located in a busy area. Has a nice, comfortable inside and is clean with plenty of room between tables/booths. It's a comfortable climate with the local country music station playing overhead the tables and booths. After realizing my server and I were from vastly different generations, things went better. I'll be back and I received recommend this establishment.

We each had an omelet. My wife had the Greek omelet, I had the bacon and cheese omelet. Both were very good. My wife really enjoyed hers. The homes fries were good, not bland like most diners/restaurants we have gone to. The coffee was also good, not bitter like many coffees can be. The service was pleasant and attentive. We were sat immediately. There are booths on both sides of the dining area and tables in the middle. The main dining area can comfortably sit approximately sixty to eighty people. There is also a sit down counter as well. What struck me most, was how well laid out and comfortable the dining area was. For a relatively small restaurant it was quaint very clean and comfortable. I was impressed with how some of the booths had frosted glass partitions with nostalgic photos embossed on them. The restaurant also had a cute small electric wooden train running above along the ceiling. The kids really enjoyed watching the train running. I was surprised with the low review ratings from some of the customers. We will be back for lunch or dinner. I feel comfortable recommending this restaurant.

The table we were seated at was dirty, place wasn't busy, strike 1. Waitress arrived, took our drink orders, and disappeared into the great beyond. When she finally showed up again, hands full of dirty dishes, I quickly said "we're ready to order when you have a minute". I got a look of disgust from her and she replied snappily, "I'll be back in a minute, my hands are full", the welcoming vibe pouring from her pores. I looked at my sister and rolled my eyes, and said something about the 3.5 stars are already giving them credit, as the cleanliness and attitude are not deserving of even that. She must have heard me because when she came back to the table, her sticky sweetness was flowing from her gums. Aside from that, the food was really good. I got a western omelet with wheat toast and home fries, though it was more like hash browns. My sister got 2 eggs over medium, home fries and white toast. The wheat toast was very light in color, I had to check to confirm it was wheat. If you're looking for A good breakfast, I can recommend this place. If you're looking for friendly service, and a spotless table, this isn't for you. Another bonus...you can pay ur bill on your mobile so no need to wait for the waitress to take the payment. Eat, pay, leave! Nice!
