Food is so good at a reasonable price. Can't go wrong with this place. They have karaoke on Saturdays. Good time.

Chicken salad-I asked for no fries. Calzone.

Saw huge sausages, just all around great looking food so ordered a burger and was not dissappointed. All prices were very fair considering an airport restaurant/bar. The burger was top notch and better than expected. No issues here. Great stop at Pittsburgh airport.

First off, it's conveniently located in the terminal, and we were able to get a table right away on a Sunday night. The place had a chill vibe with a mix of bar seating and tables, and it wasn't overcrowded, which made the experience even better. Our server was friendly and quick to get us settled. I ordered one of their house lagers, super smooth and just what I was hoping for. I'm definitely more of a lager guy, and this one hit the spot. To start, we shared the pretzel sticks appetizer, four perfectly soft pretzels served with a warm cheese dip and a nice, sharp mustard. Great portion for two and a perfect kickoff to the meal. For my main, I went with the Brewhouse Burger, cooked medium rare (I know, a bold move for airport food, but trust me it was cooked perfectly). Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just how I like it. They offer a bunch of add-ons too, so you can really make it your own. And the best part? It didn't come with the usual inflated airport price tag I think it was just under $20 for a quality burger, and the beers were around $7-$8, which felt totally reasonable for the setting. All around, it was a great experience solid food, great beer, fast and friendly service, and they didn't rush us at all. If you've got at least an hour before your flight and want a sit-down meal that doesn't feel like typical airport fare, I'd definitely recommend!

I stopped by recently while waiting for my flight to NJ…read more I always ask myself, Why do you always get sucked in to having overpriced beers at airports? Then I answer, Because there is just something that hits different about a beer inside an airport. lol. Plus, I love craft beers :P This is your typical airport bar/restaurant. Nothing great, nothing special, but it does the job while waiting. I had a couple Founders All Day IPA's. Delish! I didn't eat anything, but their menu and food did look pretty decent. It wasn't packed on the day I stopped by and the service was great. I'm sure I'll stop by again as I frequent this airport a lot. Enjoy!

Amy picked Local Craft Kitchen and Bar, and honestly, I wasn't too picky at that point. I started with a Hazy Little Thing IPA, which felt like the best beer option on the menu. Solid choice. Amy ordered a side salad and chicken quesadilla. She raved about the balsamic dressing, and the quesadilla was way bigger than we expected. Heads-up though: they charge for extras--$1 for salsa, $2 for guac. To be fair, the portions were generous, but worth noting so you're not surprised. I ordered a cup of chili and a chicken Caesar wrap with chips. The chili had a nice flavor, though I wouldn't have minded a little extra heat. Definitely a cup, not a bowl. The wrap was served warm--unexpected but tasty. It wasn't drowning in dressing, which is a win in my book. Only downside? As a self-declared homemade chip snob, the bag of Lay's felt like a bit of a letdown. Service was friendly and fast, which you always appreciate in an airport setting. Yes, it's typical overpriced airport food, but honestly, the quality was better than I anticipated. If I get delayed again, I'd come back. But no need to seek it out unless you're stuck at the gate with time to kill.

At the airport, I immediately beelined to the restaurant when I saw it. I ordered the PB Reuben. It was a massive sandwich piled with almost 2 inches of corned beef and pastrami. The flavor of the meat was amazing. It was interesting to have fries on the sandwich which added a different texture to the food when I bit into them. I really loved the sandwich so much so that I was thinking about it the next day. Truly one of the most fulfilling and delicious sandwiches I have ever tasted. Our server, Emily, was a rock star. She was appropriately attentive and always had a nice smile on her face while she helped us. The restaurant had a bar feel to it which made it a comfortable place to have lunch while waiting for my flight. I am glad we followed through on the recommendation to eat here.

And yeah, I'm sure it's not as good as the originals, but if you're a tourist or someone who's never had it before, this is still a perfectly solid introduction to what Primanti's is. One thing I appreciated: you can order sandwiches to take home with you, just not fully assembled "to go." They'll separate everything so the fries and slaw don't turn your sandwich into soup by the time you get to your destination. Smart move honestly. I took the Capicola home and ate the pastrami there at the airport. Once I got home I added an egg to the Capicola, which is definitely the move if you're eating it outside the restaurant. Still, I ended up liking the pastrami more. I'm just not really a gabagool guy, but I wanted to eat the hits. And honestly? Even after all these years, it still tasted exactly how I wanted it to taste. That's probably the best compliment I can give it. You can also sit inside or outside, which honestly changes the whole airport experience. If you want to escape the chaos of people pacing around on speakerphone, sit inside. If you want to people-watch and judge airport outfits, sit "outside" and just gawk at humanity rolling by. Also: get the pickles. Always get pickles.
