The corn, peas, onion, cheese medley complemented the meal, as the coleslaw screamed: "More, please!" Thank you, Spring House. We will be back. Suggestion for the lemon cookies: more cake than icing would make this dessert more gratifying, and a perfect addition to an exceptional Spring House healthy dinner.

They had live music, farm activities, and a lot of stuff for kids to see. There is a big slide area which my son loved. There is also a second slide behind the building where there is outdoor seating. It was a nice area that allowed parents to eat while the kids continued to play. We all split a bunch of the food options. We had the whole chicken, ribs, cabbage and noodles, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. Everything was delicious. You can tell it is all homemade. The ribs were my favorite. The meat was so tender, it fell off the bone. The bbq sauce was also delicious. The cabbage and noodles were also really good. Before leaving we got some of their ice cream. I had the chocolate peanut butter and it was amazing. It had so many peanut butter pieces and the chocolate flavor was perfect. We also took a gallon of their fresh chocolate milk to go, which did not last long at our house. Highly recommend stopping here, especially for those with kids.

One of the biggest reasons we chose it was because they advertised a dog-friendly patio. Before being seated, my husband specifically went inside to speak with the hostess because rain was expected soon. The hostess acknowledged the forecast, and my husband said we were completely fine sitting under the patio umbrellas as long as the restaurant was okay serving us outside. She assured us that it was not a problem. We were seated on the patio and intentionally looked through the menu quickly because we wanted to minimize the server having to come outside in the rain. When the server came out, she immediately commented about the weather and was clearly upset about having to serve the patio. We were sympathetic and tried to be as easygoing as possible. What happened next was honestly bizarre. She pulled out her notepad and just stared down at it without saying a word. We ordered drinks and then sat there in silence waiting for any kind of acknowledgment or follow-up like, "What would you like to eat?" After about 15 awkward seconds, she finally looked up visibly irritated. I ordered, she wrote it down without saying anything else, and then stormed back inside. At that point, we decided we no longer felt welcome. We brought the waters back inside and told her she could cancel the order. Her response was simply, "Are you sure?" The entire interaction consisted of maybe six words total from our server. We later called to let the manager know what happened. While they did apologize, the only solution offered was for us to place a to-go order instead. That completely missed the point. We weren't looking for free food or special treatment -- we just expected basic hospitality after being explicitly told they were happy to serve the patio despite the weather. This entire situation could have been avoided if the restaurant had simply told us upfront that patio service during the rain was an issue.

I'm generally easygoing, but when it comes to food, coffee, and cocktails...I'm a bit of a pain and particular. That said, I was absolutely blown away by this place. I love that they source their meat and veggies from local farms; the difference in quality is obvious. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and thoughtful. The North Hills really needs more spots like this! We ordered the bacon-wrapped walleye (best fish in a long time), sweet potato chips, arancini, wedge salad, and tuna poke. I also had the Fall Mule, which was fantastic. The service was fantastic as well. I honestly debated not writing a review because I don't want this hidden gem to get so popular that I can't get a reservation, but they deserve the praise!

Our waitress helped us with recommendations and everything was fabulous. I love a seasonal menu and Feast delivers.
