Service is terrible my food came after everyone else's food so I sat and ate while everyone else was done. Had to ask for the milk for the meal twice. Had to ask for our bacon multiple times when all the other food was delivered yet bacon was not yet even put in. The manager did correct the situation she was amazing. But the server should find a different career path. read more

I'm not sure why or how this has the rating it does. It's not the easiest to find first off, no signage about waiting to be seated or seating yourself either. I had to ask twice for the bill. when I got my chance to go back to Waynesburg, I would always head to the airport restaurant for a good meal. Always had their butterscotch pie, which was to die for. My grandmom used to make me a butterscotch pie when I would come to visit and your butterscotch pie reminded me so much of her and really enjoyed it. Nobody else has them. Wow - this place is truly a hidden gem! Located in the airport administration building, it doesn't even have a sign. It doesn't really need one - it's bustling with locals who clearly appreciate their delicious and amazingly-priced breakfasts and lunches. Our family of five found it the perfect right-off-the-highway stop on our long travel day. Burgers, cheesesteak hoagies, and hot open-faced sandwiches were all really good and under $7 each, including fries. The menu also offers lots of other sandwiches, salads, homemade soups and pies plus a daily special (cabbage rolls today). If we lived nearby we would be here all the time! Note: the restroom (in the airport part of the building) was not clean. Apparently that is maintained by the rec department for some reason, so I didn't take off a star. read more

Highly recommended! The menu here is the same regardless of the time of day. I almost always get the house special, which is a garbage plate (eggs, sausage, ham, home fries, onions and peppers). While I'm sure it isn't exactly a health food, the dish isn't as greasy as you might imagine. Lunch foods are also above average. We stopped in today for lunch. As with most things a decent review needs to be in context. For us this was exactly what we expected. No frills, straight forward atmosphere, surrounding and food. If you need pampered or catered to a small country town may not be the right choice. If you like to get off the beaten path and find the not so obvious local spots, this is a nice choice. You are in a building with the airport office, magistrate and the restaurant all off the same main entrance. We took a table that looks right onto the runway. Sadly no planes took off or landed. We waited a bit but once waited on drinks came quickly and stayed filled. The menu is small, as it should be, but had some nice choices. I'm a sucker for a diner hot open faced sandwiches so I ordered the roast beef and fries. This was a good solid sandwich. Not the sliced deli meat you sometimes get served. This was like mom made Sunday pot roast and shredded it into a sandwich and covered it with gravy. My son ordered the turkey hot sandwich and it was similar. Both were done well, moist, tender, flavorful and filling. We also ordered the coleslaw with was exactly what I wanted in a diner with its mayonnaise based sauce. I would definitely stop back here on my way past. Leave your suit and skirt at home, put on a pair of jeans, relax and give it a try is my recommendation. read more

So I've heard the food here is very good and my family was eager to try it. However, we never got the chance. We came in on a Sunday. They were busy, but still had three open tables. So we didn't have to wait for a seat. However, we sat there for 15 minutes and no one ever acknowledged us. No drink order or even a hello. So we got up and left. The food is DELICIOUS. The ONLY reason I go there is for the food. The Staff is rude and crabby. They don't like to talk or be bothered. The unsweetened tea tasted like water and the waitress got mad because we wanted something else. I saw 2 tables get seated AFTER me but got waited on BEFORE me. This isn't the first time I've noticed the crabby behavior. If it wasnt for the food I wouldn't even bother. But I like the location and view. The restaurant would be a 5 star place if they would get a friendly staff. read more
