I hired Bob Goess Contracting to replace windows and he butchered my home. Don't hire Bob Goess Contracting. The damage he did cost me more in repairs to my home than what it cost to replace windows not only do I need to replace the windows he installed, but I need to repair the damage he did to the home. He cut holes in my siding and left it. He tried to cover up the damage with silicone. Damaged my roof flashing, no weather barrier or insulation. Holes in the frames of the windows. Windows are the incorrect size. And the list goes on. He clearly has no idea what he is doing. I had seven contractors come to give me estimates for the repair and they couldn't believe what they saw. I had to select the star to post a review but I give him zero stars. I would post photos if I could. He would never even come back to discuss the damage in person. read more

Bob and his team redid my roof, put in a portico, changed my doors, and installed new siding on my house. They did very nice work, answered all my questions, and even better they came back to make sure anything we were dissatisfied with was corrected. We wanted to upgrade our house and the neighbor was getting some work done on his . I walked two houses down and looked at the workmanship. I was very impressed with work, so I gave the contractor a call . Bob Goess Contracting was the company doing the work. Bob Goess came with his wife Jen . They sat down with my wife and I and we told them what we would like to have done. I was very impressed with his ideas and the way he conducted business. We agreed on what we wanted to do and the price great . All the materials were ordered and delivered. They came and inspected the materials and they tarped everything up. A few days later a 4 man crew came and started removing all the old siding. His foreman was outstanding. His attention to detail was impeccable. He worked on our house as it was his own . The camaraderie with the crew was commendable. While they were doing the work they were very attentive about everything else. Tarps were put over our pavers. At the end of every work day they cleaned up. And blew off my patio and walkways. They also went around with a magnet and picked up any nails that were on the ground. Bob and Jen came every day to check that everything was ok and that we were happy with the work. We had a little situation that happened which turned out to be nothing to do with the work. Bob and Jen came over instantly to help remedy problem . That along with all the other things they did, told us we chose the right company for the job. We couldn't be any happier with the work and the way they conducted business. On a scale of one to ten , I would give them a twelve! 7/12/17 Follow up to original review. I called them back to do some work around my home and couldn't be happier. I worked with John and like Bob, he was responsive and so nice to work with. They built me a workbench from scratch, which I LOVE. They also did a few other things I needed done. What impressed me was the fact that someone took the time to notice I had a water pipe that was not hooked to anything and a ground wire just dangling...something the inspectors obviously missed when I bought my house. This review is long over due. I was recommended to Bob Goess contracting looking for a new roof. we had gotten several estimates on the job. Bob"s prices are competitive. Bobby came and looked at our roof, gave us a quote. We signed that night. He is honest and fair. When his workers came to work, they were neat. They ripped our layer of roof tiles off, fixed a few boards that were rotting and reshingled our roof. As they were working a few issues came up with some work prior contractors left behind. The crew fixed those issues and finished our roof neatly. It has been over 1 year and we have had no leaks or issues with the shingles even with the winds coming in off the north wall. I highly recommend Bob Goess contracting. I will be using them in the future for interior work. We have referred Bob with no reservation. read more

Not great with communication and took quite some time to get the work scheduled. Had to do a lot of follow ups. A large mini blind was broken after the job which I had to pay for. They did nice work but they have communication issues. read more

Bob & his team went above and beyond to make our house look amazing! His guys arrived promptly every morning and made a point to clean up each night before they left. Bob was very quick to reply for any questions we may had and had by far the most reasonable estimate! After 5 different siding companies telling us we needed new windows, Bob came in and told us that wasn't true, they were re-sealed and caulked and we haven't had an issue since we had our new siding done!
