I kinda knew it would be a traveling carnival, and that's part of the appeal, they got the rides, the petting zoo, the stunt shows, the games, and, of course, the deeply fried foods, which makes for a fun evening. I just wish there were more El Chuco-ness to the fair, some El Paso flavor like local food trucks or vendors or artists. I dunno, maybe it's because it's located at the site of the old Western Playland, but it mostly made me wish I had gone to Western Playland.

Several people told me it's like a permanent fair and I would agree with that. We got there right at 5 o clock on a Saturday night and stayed for about 4 hours total. We rode everything with the exception of a few rides that were down or just didn't catch our interest, all had minimal wait times. My favorite was the ski lift type ride, we went on it twice...I recommend going right at sunset for beautiful views! We had several snacks, pretzel, churros and lemonade and we thought they were all very tasty and well priced. I really enjoyed my time there and a lot of the rides made me feel very nostalgic (Himalaya for example was always my county fair favorite!) overall my little family had a blast and I would recommend going!

Only problem we had was that our lane kept having problems with the pins not coming back correctly and sometimes the bowling balls wouldn't come back up either. We played for an hour and had to call for help 3 times. I love bowling to great music, sadly the selection of music that was playing while I was there was horrible! I wish they still had TouchTunes like it used to before when it was Fiesta Lanes. They do have a good menu, with pizza, wings, salads...your typical bowling alley food. We had the pizza and it was pretty good. The bar has a pretty basic but good selection of draft beers and mixed drinks. You can either order your food and drinks at the bar or wait for a waiter/waitress to come take your order, I suggest you just go to the bar, it will be faster. They place offers memberships which is a good option for frequent customers, I'm not sure if they include bowling or if it's just for Jumping World. Their webpage is a bit confusing. All in all, it's a good place to bowl and have some fun family time. However, small little things here and there make miss when it was Fiesta Lanes, especially since all I really wanna go there for is bowling and maybe some pool. Once you start adding all those other options and games, prices start going up.

My family and I came here on a whim for one of our kids birthday on a Saturday. It was slightly a bad mistake. It was extremely hard to get a table to sit at for a group of us. They hardly have any seats other than what is next to all the trampolines. I assume they do this so you can reserve a spot. Additionally, oh my is it expensive!!!! $20 a person to jump for 2hrs that doesn't even include the $5 socks you have to pay. It gets crazy pricey. Well it was my first and most likely last time I'll be bringing the kids to. This place is also not very sanitary at all. There is a funky smell but I think it might be due to all the kids feet. Anyways the one thing I did like is that there food isn't that expensive nor is it great but it helped when the kids were hungry. The inside is very smokey from the kitchen area. We gathered the crew and headed out to find this place. I had called earlier to confirm we could just show up without a reservation, they said yes but it was going to be busy. So we got there and did not realize that we need permission slips for the kids but it could all be done on line. I paid $25 a person for a gin, 200 rounds and a mask. They take the time to show you how to use and to make sure you follow the rules. Even my 7 year old son was allowed to play. We spent almost 4 hours running, hiding and shooting. Great time, nice people and a hell of a work out. Will definitely come back out again.
