I've been a client of Christine's for over 10 years and love her to pieces. She has an amazing talent, is super friendly and easy to talk to, and always listens to what I want while making great suggestions of her own. Although I'm not the best about regular visits, she works her magic each time whether it's just a basic cut or full on color. I've never left disappointed with her work, and her prices are really reasonable considering her level of expertise and what she does. As for the salon itself, it's very comfortable and inviting with plenty of room. You definitely don't feel like you're sitting right on top of other customers, and I always leave more relaxed than when I arrived. read more

My sister, sister-in-law, and I came to Dea for make up and hair for my SIL's wedding. The salon itself is very elegant. Roza and her team listened carefully and ensured we were comfortable. My sister's and SIL's make up were beautifully done and lasted from application around 11AM until late into the night. We all got curls in our hair and the hair stayed in place throughout the day as well. It was a great beginning to the wedding day. I'm glad to have come across this salon! read more

Ok so if there where like a million stars this salon would get every one! First off I am real weird about my hair. I have been looking for a place in Alpharetta for 3 years now trying to find the best salon and guess what....I found it. This place is so relaxing. When you first go in you are offered a beverage and then you are offered a smock that you can change into so you don't get hair all over you. Then my stylist Jen came out and introduce herself and she was so sweet and awesome!! She analyzed my hair and told me what would be best for my "hair crisis" She spent time with me and I didn't feel rush and I also felt like she genuinely cared about me. So disappointed! Made an appointment a few days ago to color my hair today at 1:30 pm. The salon called me at noon today and asked if I would come in at 2:00 pm because "Parvin" was running late. I gladly said yes and showed up promptly at 2 pm. The receptionist was very friendly offering me water and showing me the coffee etc. I sat and waited 20 minutes, then asked if the wait would be much longer only to be told it would be another 15-20 minutes! Seriously? My original appointment was at 1:30 and she wasn't going to see me until 2:40? Well that's where my niceness and understanding ended and I left. **The manager watched and didn't say anything! read more

I came to Dea for the first time today and loved it! Roza (the owner) gave me an updated layered cut and really took her time to make it perfect. Not only is Roza very talented and passionate at what she does, but she is great to chat with and very personable. The salon is clean and beautiful and provides a great atmosphere to get your hair done in. I went today and am very pleased with hair, Jen is awesome!!! I was somewhat shocked at my price when I checked out so will look for other alternatives. I just moved here from Chicago where the cost of living is much higher. My bill today was $$254 for a cut (I have very short hair) and color/highlights. I was not told price before It was done but it was 165 for cut/partial highlights and then $90 added for 'lowlights', 'toner' and something called 'base bump'....time spent was no more than what I had in Chicago where it was $185 total. While my hair looks good and no complaints, this is too expensive every 6 weeks (plus tip)! As an amendment to my review, I contacted my Chicago colorist and her response was as follows: 'I actually really like the owners response and I understand how she justifies her breakdown for pricing. The difference is knowing how to color so they do not need to tone. Instead of doing a base bump I soften your base between your foils with a demi permanent color(applied as a single process) so it would gently lighten without going too brassy. I did not low-light you in foil. If I felt that you were getting to light I would pull a little of the demi permanent base color through your ends between the highlights. I achieved your color by doing a single process (with a demi permanent) and some soft highlights. Thanks, I wish I could give you better advice but the owners explanation of their process is very common. Terrible analogy, but it's like they take all their clothes off to go to the bathroom when all they really have to do is pull down their pants. Sorry.....I know that's terrible but couldn't think of a better way to explain it. read more

I called to make an appointment to get rose colored hair. The lady told me it would be around $230 I said ok cause I know rose color is a tricky color. I showed her a picture of how I wanted the color to look like. The hairstylist said she could make my hair like the picture. In the end my hair was a horrible blotchy color of orange and pink. So I called the next day to see if another stylists could fix my hair, if not I wanted a refund. They told me a "master stylist" could fix it. I came in and the stylist did a color remover on my hair which damaged my hair even more and attempted to give me rose colored hair, but just ended up damaging my hair even more. I am highly upset because this salon should be honest with their clients, if you can't do a certain color then you should let your client know before making them pay a lot of money to just damage your hair. read more

Roza is a fantastic hairstylist. I had changed several stylists since moving to Atlanta until I found her. What I love about Roza is that she listens carefully and delivers exactly what I have in my mind every time. She spends time to make sure everything is the way I like. I never feel rushed through. She always wants you to be happy and if I change my mind or don't like something about my hair after I leave the salon, she happily accepts to make it right the way I like. When Roza moved to Dea Salon as the new owner, I had to follow her. I actually found the same attitude in all other stylists and staffs. They know what they are doing. Even though it is more drive for me now, it is definitely worth the trust I have in Roza to work on my hair. I would definitely recommend them. read more

I started going to Dea Salon right when it opened. The stylists are top notch and every time I get my hair done I love it more than the time before! Helen is excellent at color and cuts. I followed Helen (an owner of the salon) from another salon as she is the best stylist I've experienced. I only get a cut when I go, though I have noticed the stylists appear to be experienced in various techniques. My most recent visit was my first with Christine due to Helen being out, though Helen matched us quite well! I always leave the salon smiling and loving my cut. I've tried many salons over the years. A friend recommended Dea Salon about a year ago. I'm not going anywhere else. When I met Parvin my hair was dry and damaged from bad colors used by previous stylists and my haircut...well....I was unintentionally trying to bring the mullet back! She has nursed my hair back to life. Her cuts are gorgeous and the colors are always beautiful and vibrant. Parvin will never do something if she feels it will damage your hair. What an awesome salon! It's big and open but still comfortable. I recently moved to Roswell and found this place on yelp. I was able to book online for a last minute appointment. Everybody was super friendly and stayed busy throughout my visit. Roza highlighted and cut my hair perfectly! She made me blonde again and was able to eliminate my roots and brassy tones. As a new client, I had a really nice experience at Dea! They were professional, courteous and efficient. Helen was awesome! She really listened to my interests, was focused and very friendly. I may have lucked out with the timing of my appointment, but it was nice being her only client at that time. At a lot of other salons that I've been to, I'm usually one of several clients that the stylist is juggling. Helen really seemed committed to me and making my hair look it's best.
