Six years ago D Bug installed a french drain and sump pump in my middle basement ( I have a very…read moreold house...cinder block) and the guys did a phenomenal job....today, because of the constant hard rains, I had to have French drains installed in my front basement. Let me tell you those guys are FAST! They made sure I had little dust to clean up by putting plastic up on both sides of my middle basement and stairway to kitchen! The front french drain is now connected to my sump pump in middle basement AND I got a grated drain in front basement. That's because I have a coal chute and my fuel oil tank is right under it. I've had water leaking from that chute for years. I also had a drain installed on the exterior wall of the house to keep water from coming in through the coal chute.
