Also realized when he left he plastered his own stickers on our water heater over the other vendors stickers to promote himself. Good experienced plumber prompt service however he ripped of my kids who where house sitting for me charging them $400 to install a new valve cartridge if I was at home I could have repaired this issue in under a half hour for less than $20! If you know nothing about basic plumbing then for sure use this company just expect to pay an outrageous price. If you can fix the basics (like a valve cartridge) then save your money and do it yourself don't get overcharged but this company. Seriously, Beware of this guy! He just charged my elderly parent's $880. to replace a simple fill valve $30. He pretended to make a bigger job out of it by removing their toilet and staying longer to justify his outrageous price. My cousin recently bought a $220. toilet from Home Depot and Home Depot charged him $125. to install it. That tells you what a criminal Bob Hoegler is. My parents live in a pretty nice house so Bob figured why not bang them out is all I can guess. Make sure you get a price in writing from this guy before he does any work for you. He came and quickly using a wrenchette fixed the disposal. He still tried to sell me a new disposal for 750 - 979 I said no since the old one worked. He charged me 250 for a 10 minute service call. I recently used Bob Hoegler as the plumber in my kitchen renovation project. He did a wonderful job and everything was working in a few hours. He is now my new plumber. Here is why We were renovating our kitchen, I get home around 4:00pm and the cabinet installer tells me we need to move the gas connection a few inches because it was too close to the edge of the cabinet. This needed to happen ASAP so I called a plumbing company that I have used in the past (large one for the central NJ area) and they informed me that the soonest they could come to give me an estimate was in two days and the work could be done the following week. I could not wait that long so I started looking for local plumbers that could do it sooner. Using my computer, I got some plumbers numbers & started making calls to see if they could help me. When I got to Bob the person on the phone told me that she would have Bob call me in a few minutes. He called I explained my situation and the urgency of getting this done ASAP. Bob and his men where at my house 2 hours later and moved the gas line on the spot. My project was not delayed due to his help. Had a leaking, outdoor spigot and his name was given to me by a neighbor. I was pleased that he was able to come out the very next day and not only arrived on time but was EARLY. I Had found the replacement part at Lowe's for less than $60. He and his partner said they could do it in about an hour and they would charge me $300 +tax. I agreed because I wanted to get this repair done. They were helpful, knowledgeable and very thorough. I am very pleased with their work. But I would not use them again or recommend them because of their highly inflated pricing. read more

I had to call Bob because my water heater went and within a couple of hours he was there promptly. He brought his other guy with him mark and between the both of them they were very knowledgeable in their work and they treated my house like it was theirs very neat, clean and very careful when bringing in the water heater they put something down on my rug so they wouldn't get the rugs dirty I watch and see that they take pride in their work and I was so glad that I called Bob. He is knowledgeable, professional, his work is high quality and meticulous and I've never had to wait long for an opening in his schedule. Had an issue with a leaky bathroom tub after having a plumbing co. come out and redo it all about five years ago and was not satisfied with the outcome. So I attempted to fix it myself this time around with no luck so I called and made arrangements for them to come out not only did he fix what the other plumbers didn't finish he also fix the leak. We have used Hoegler Plumbing for years. Bob has come over in the night when one hot water heater sprung a leak in the winter time and he and his partner replaced the heater that night. He has come early in the morning when years later another water heater stopped heating the water. He came immediately in the middle of his work day when my kitchen faucet exploded. Yep. I figured I'll do a Google search on the company and was amazed to find that almost 95% or more of the reviews were positive. I did'nt look for any one else. I called around 8:45am and before the third ring there was avery pleasant voice at the other end. MaryAnn set up the appointment and Bob was in my home before 11am. He did an absolutely fabulous job, very proffessionally and at a very resonable rate. arrived to pick up my mother-in-law & found Mr Hoegler & helper changing a cartridge on her delta shower control.He charged her $450. & was in the process of convincing her to replace a non-defective hot water heater & segment of iron pipe approx 5 ft long.Our Mother-in-law is in her 80,s & while still self sufficient enough to live in her own home she is easily confused & manipulated.My husband advised Mr Hoeglar that while we appreciated his demonstrating our Mother's susceptability to being taken advantage of , an adjustment to his $450 charge to replace a part in an existing shower fixture was needed to prevent an appointment in court. We settled on $275 cash. In Mr Hoeglers defense,we've dealt with craftsman in most of the trades (as realtors & owner/operators of rental properties) & have yet to find any plumber (licensed or not) who was satisfied with prices in line with those of the other trades. I strongly reccomend that that anyone with a plumbing problem short of a broken main supply or sewer pipe pull the permit themselves ,get what advise they can from the Lowes/Home-depot floor people and let the code official point out if you made a mistake. Paying for the permit , some extra parts and gas to and from the store beats being at the mercy of some people. Obviously our Mother was not capable of this approach,but we are hoping she will remember how Mr Hoegler was ready to take half her months social security for an hours work and was working on taking a whole bunch more. read more
