Went to the location in Surrey. The taro milk tea was delicious! had it with peach pearls instead of the original ones and it was the perfect complimentary sweetness. My friend had the black sugar tapioca latte and she found that delicious herself! The cinnamon mini donuts were amazing! not too sugary and not too sweet. Perfect amount of sweetness that should be in mini donuts. As of writing, dine-in is not available.

Came with a friend before social distancing became serious, but the store was already refusing bring-your-own cups. Kinda of in the middle of nowhere of Surrey, but the plaza was quite bustling. Parking is technically 1h only, but we stayed for ~2h without problems. Relatively busy while we were there, with all 3 tables filled at times and quite a few in-and-outs. I liked the menu options compared to some other more prescriptive bbt menus (see my review of XFT). My deluxe milk tea (with pearls, grass jelly, and pudding) with no ice and 50% sugar was small (regular size $4.50) but pretty good. My friend's large fresh taro latte ($5.50) was decent too, but I wouldn't recommend getting the taro pearls with it (won't be able to taste them). I later also got a mousse coco latte in a bottle to go ($6, $0.50 for the bottle), which unfortunately lost its mousse over time. I suggest NOT wasting money on the bottle -- especially if you're getting toppings (their "long" straw is not long enough for one to sip from the bottom).

Due to Covid, I've been craving for bubble tea for a very long time. Boba Boy is one of the shops that is operating. All staff is wearing masks and counter are kept very clean. As it is my first time trying this brand, I've ordered my usual Earl Grey Milk Tea so that I can compare. I have to say, the tea favour is really good. I love the fact that you don't have to adjust the sugar or ice level and your order just taste right not like you are drinking syrup. I've only ordered the regular pearls which is a bit of a disappointment. There is a lack of flavour there otherwise it will be my new favourite bubble tea place.

Grass jelly milk tea. I didn't customize the drink. I would give it a good 4.5/5.

It's a very nice atmosphere in the store. Very clean and has the proper signage to help with the pandemic. No in-store seating available at this time. I ordered a grass jelly milk tea. I did not customize the drink as I really wanted to taste how they would normally make it. The milk tea itself is very delicious. Not super sweet for my tastebuds and hits the right notes. The grass jelly itself has a bit of lychee flavouring. Definitely not something I've gotten accustomed to from my usual bubble tea places. Still very good nonetheless. Pricing is quite typical and comparable to other bubble tea places. I'd recommend the place. Quick service as well. The store is right beside a supermarket and other stores within the plaza so you have a lot of space for parking

It's been there for a while so starting to look a bit dated. Doing good business on a Saturday night, although we didn't have to wait for a table. We were not super hungry so just went for drinks and appetizers. They have a pretty sizable sweet drinks menu, with a lot of choices for toppings. I got the melon slush with half sugar. It was plenty sweet, and has the nice honeydew melon taste. For appetizers, we got the Taiwanese style chicken nuggets, and a mixed plate of braised meat and proteins. The chicken nuggets taste as expected, got good flavor, and was tender and not dry. For the braised plate, we got sliced pig ear, fish cake and sliced beef shank. I liked the flavors, and the beef shank was tender. Overall two drinks with two appetizer was like $43 before tips, so not expensive. Solid place to go for some inexpensive Taiwanese food and sweet drinks.

They offer so many different dishes (hot pot bowls, stir fry noodles, hot and cold appetizers, etc.) plus an extensive drink selection. One of my guilty pleasure meals from here is their popcorn chicken, intestine soup noodle, and their Hokkaido milk tea. The popcorn chicken is always made fresh and food portions are generous at the price point offered. There's a reason why Bubble World still maintains a number of locations throughout the Lower Mainland and business is steady. Service is prompt and decent too.

Menu is pretty extensive and there are many different sizes. Smaller rice bowls at cheaper prices were available as well as more expensive meal sets. Even cheaper meals combos are available for students. Once we ordered food, it took a pretty long time to come (at least half an hour), considering that there were only 3 total customers in the restaurant. However the food was very delicious when it did come. The sole waitress was pretty much on her phone at another table the entire time apart from serving the food. The food is very good though. I would definitely return again just for the fried chicken alone. The pork chop dish that we ordered was also delicious.

The walls are decorated with pictures from Europe and the teacups are very "British." Besides scone and tea, you can get regular food here as well such as fries, salt & pepper chicken, and radish cake to name just a few. You can also get cold drinks like juice & bubble tea, and bubble tea drinks here too. So...not your typical British style Afternoon Tea joint. Kind of half restaurant, half tea place. My friend had a pot of Leisure Fresh Fruit tea and a scone. We'd already had lunch a bit earlier and while my friend had room for a scone, I had zero room in my stomach for any food so I just had a pot of Longan Red Date tea. It was a cold day so a pot of hot tea really hit the spot. I thought it a bit pricy at first, but when the tea came, I saw that the teabags were Fortnum & Mason teabags. That is a very a prestigious company from all the way over in England. When I realized we were drinking Fortnum & Mason tea, all of a sudden $10.25 didn't seem so extravagant any more. My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. I can't say too much about the food as I only had one pot of tea but I was impressed that it was Fortnum & Mason tea, and I very much enjoyed the flavor of the Longan & Red Dates in my tea.
