    Strawberry slush with mango jelly

The strawberry slush with mango jelly is awesome here! Probably one of the best I have had so far! Tried various other flavours and they have all been tasty too! Register for their loyalty program. Why not... you get something out of it eventually.

The milk tea is yummy here! We came here after a trip to Hicks lake, and it was a great treat. There are a good number of regular teas, milk teas, and smoothies. All of my friends got the Oreo smoothie. Man, it's delicious. If you're partial to boba, than you can just skip them. I got the lychee mint with mango jelly special; 50% sweetness. It tastes like bathroom soap, but in a good way. My girlfriend got the Assam milk tea with 50% sweetness. The Assam was perfectly mild and creamy with a black tea flavor. I find black tea to be over brewed too often, but it wasn't here. There is also a smoothie that tastes like forerer Roche. Pearl Fever is a solid place to get milk teas.

It is nice to have more options for bubble tea drinks in Surrey. Place was somewhat clean. Plenty of seating available. Staff was carefree and goofing off when it was quiet. At least it made for a fun atmosphere. There was pop music playing in the background. My type of music so it was nice as I enjoyed my drink. Tried the honeydew drink and it was good for powdered flavour standards. Wish they advertised their prices a bit better. I did not know how much my drink was until I paid.

Lots of parking and friendly staff. Fast service, Great place for a "real" avocado fruit smoothie with a dash of grass jelly to end the day, phew!

    Coconut and Royal Rocher smoothie

Got the coconut smoothie. Wanted it with soy milk but they ran out so went with water base instead. Still good but probably way better with soy milk. Hubby got Royal Rocher which is ferror rocher with hazelnut. It was apparently delicious by his standards! We got the grand opening deal of 2 for 1 until end of Nov 2014 so price obviously was great. Thanks Strawberry Hill Pearl Fever!

What bubble tea/boba is supposed to taste like. The place feels relaxing and is a great place to hang out with friends! Try out their Ferrero Rocher slush!

Good bubble tea spot near our house. I wish they had more flavour variety and 2 different sizes of bubble tea, but it's good enough.

I was guessing it was still under the same ownership, based on the various random gifts and items for sale - the barista confirmed later that it was indeed the same owner. I remember the coffee being pretty good, but I couldn't quite fully remember to what level. Regardless, my Americano was FANTASTIC. Much better than I expected, and I'd rank it right up there with some gourmet places in urban centres. My wife said her drip coffee was very good, and also exceeded her expectations. It might be the only coffee shop around for several blocks, but don't get the impression you'd only come here because of that. Fantastic coffee, comfortable area and really nice staff. Nice to see them continuing to do well after all these years.

I asked what the sizes were like and how big a medium was and the girl on till said " it's medium sized". that's not very helpful when there is such a range of sizes really. The two girls also complained about supply issues and how they couldn't find pretzels to make their feature drink. I had just heard about this place on instagram and their really cool flights but I have to say I will not be back. After how I was treated I will tell others not to go as well. I drove 40 mins to come here and I'm very disappointed, I'll just go to my local shop instead.

The cultural lineage of this place is certainly interesting, since from what I understand, this is…read morethe only Canadian location of an Indian restaurant from Japan. The restaurant is beautiful with both Indian and Japanese design sensibilities. They have a table service restaurant with both high tea and an extensive a la carte menu, and it looks like you can also buy mithai in bulk. The food isn't really Japanese-Indian fusion as you might expect, but more like Japanese impression of Indian food, if that makes sense? There's a few hints of Japanese and Asian influence, but the menu is mostly modern Indian. All vegetarian. There's no vegan or gluten free options for afternoon tea, but the a la carte menu includes many clearly labeled vegan and GF dishes. I wanted to try the afternoon tea set to get a wide sampling of their offerings. The set included: corn spinach puff, paneer tikka slider, cream cheese cucumber sandwich, samosa, chutneys for dipping, manchurian skewers, orange cranberry scone with whipped cream, rose rasmalai cake, dodha crunch, motichoor cheesecake parfait, and the choice between masala chai, coffee, or hot/iced caffe latte. It's $32/person for the set, which is a great price. I also appreciated that it was possible to order the set for just one person since it seems like many teahouses will only do it for 2+ people. I thought all of the items in the set were pretty good, and there was a balance between the sweet and savoury items. The only things that really left anything to be desired were that the scone was a bit dry and crumbly, and I thought the tandoori paneer could have been more flavourful. In general the flavours of the savoury items were a bit more subtle than in typical authentic Indian food, but for the most part it didn't come across as bland to me, just a different take on it. The standouts in the set were: the paneer slider - even if the paneer itself didn't impress, I loved the almost flaky texture of the pav - the manchurian, and the rose rasmalai cake. Also, the cream cheese cucumber sandwich had cilantro or chutney or something in the cream cheese which made it much more interesting than the plain version of this sandwich. The masala chai (my chosen drink) was also very good. It was served in a pot that contained 2 small servings. My waiter was very friendly and stopped by a few times to check in. When I was done eating and wanted my bill, it was easy to get his attention. I visited at what seemed like a quiet time so I didn't have much competition for attention. One thing that I thought was odd was when he gave me the machine to pay, there was no tip option - it would be cool if they had a no-tip policy, but I never saw any mention of it, so I wonder if he accidentally bypassed the tip when putting in my charge. It was an interesting and very pleasant experience. I was so curious about this place that I made a trip out from Vancouver just to try it (and couldn't get anyone willing to go to Surrey for afternoon tea with me, hence the afternoon tea order for one), and it was worth the trip!
