I was in the area and saw a sign for a drink that sounded good and refreshing, the Asian in me asked the people working the counter if the drink was "too sweet?" The reply I got was honest, it was on the sweet side and they could reduce the sugar content but it would end up being sour. I was recommended to try a lychee drink with dragon fruit, that hit the spot and they made it not too sweet. For a visit that was supposed to be a quick in and out, I ended up staying and hung out for about 2 hours and change. I hung out with Jay and Amy and we just chatted when there was down time, the flow of customers was kind of odd around 6pm because the flow of customers wasn't consistent. Cute little hole in the wall goodness. Strawberry milk tea is my absolute fav generally speaking but the brown sugar boba has become my second fav. They have a rewards program which is sweet if you live in the neighborhood. I personally like my boba teas with a low amount of boba and the boba itself here is the best I've had. All I can report back is that the workers at this place needs better customer service skills. I guess that's why it is mostly automated. You would pay with card here and not with cash so just be aware. There are signs for that too. I saw a stamp card there - where if you drink enough you'll get rewards. The drink I ordered was the Taro Bubble Milk Tea / medium size. I asked it to be light sugar and no ice. I should've asked for some ice as it needed more water. The tea ended up bulking up and clumping altogether at the end and it made my bubbles all weird. Wasn't a fan of that, but you live and you learn. All in all, I guess I'll visit again when I'm in the mood. read more

The employees are friendly and the service is quick. Usually, there's a line but when I went it was empty which was great for us! A bubble tea opened at Sunnyside. There are no seats in this location, more of an order and to go place. There are 2 ways to order: 1) self service machines (2): 1 is in the corner, 1 is on the counter. Pay using a debit or credit card. After your order, there is an order #. You will receive a notification if you enter a phone number that you order is ready. 2) order with employee: pay with cash and you will receive your order number. Listen to your order number. My first order was brown sugar milk tea without bubbles. My second order was Hong Kong milk tea without boba bubbles. It came with boba. Oh well, guess it was a habit to add boba. Boba was soft and chewable which is how I like it. There is also a wall of flowers and logo that is more for Instagram. Go check it out. This place came out of nowhere. I guess it's easy to do with such a small place it can go unnoticed. After it opened it is not something you miss on you're walk on queens blvd if you're passing by. I was in a sweet tooth mood and tried their brown sugar boba. It wasn't bad, it wasn't my favorite one either. Staff is really a great team. You can't order from a human they only take orders on an IPad or your phone. Another time I came by on a hot day and was very thirty from a long walk and got a fruit tea and I really enjoyed it. Finally!! Boba in Sunnyside!! I love Moge Tee deeply! I think their teas are not only refreeshing, but 95% of the time they're beyond delicious + consistent! I order the regular boba milk tea or the green bubble tea with 30% sweetness (boba has a lot of sugar already) . It's one of the best milk teas I've had in the city and I've been drinking boba since 2011! Trust me, we've come a LONG way! My partner gets the fresh lemon green tea or the lychee pitaya iced tea -- both so unique and refreshing. I am not a big fan of the machines used to order, it can be such a pain + I love human interaction, but since COVID hit, it makes sense. I use the Snack pass app to accumulate points when I can! The people helping there are very nice and efficient, don't listen to the grouchy folks! Just people doing their job. The heavier, taller man in glasses, started talking to the other employee in Mandarin Chinese and told him how my clothes made me look like a 婊子 (literally a wh*re/pr*stitute/b*tch). I was shocked and turned to ask him in Chinese if he really just said that about me and instead he just covered his mouth with his hands and said nothing. Just ordered Taro Bubble Milk Tea today. and was really looking forward to it. When I had my first sip, I nearly choked. I thought well maybe I just need to mix more, maybe it settled at the bottom. So I mixed then sipped again and again I nearly choked. Finally looked at what I was drinking and saw the taro is stuck to the sides of the cup looking like a paste. The whole drink looked muddy. I was expecting smooth. I was so looking forward to my first Moge Tea and this is what I got. One of my co-workers who loves bubble tea. ordered from here and told me that it was bad but I thought I will see for myself. And she was right. it was awful.
