This food truck is always so busy and it's for a good reason. Tacos are very good and fresh. There is always a line but the wait it is not too long. One of the best food trucks that you will find in Salt Lake or West Valley City.

I came in for some tacos and the girl at the counter was so friendly because I had never been in before and I didn't know what to order she helped me out and I was so appreciative. The food was amazing. I had the street tacos with a side of refried beans and Spanish rice, the music was on in the background they had the ambience going. There were a few people but overall I will be back.

    Menu offerings, all reasonably priced

Guys this taco truck is my jam. I feel like it's open all the time, I've visited at noon and past midnight and this taco truck is still open and busy. You order to the right side (street side) and choose which tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc you want and pay and they'll give you a ticket number. They also offer seasonal beverages, horchata and different types of fresh aguas are available daily during the summer, and I've ordered some Mexican hot chocolate during the winter months. They have a great salsa bar that has the typical onion/cilantro mix as well as limes, chiles, and four different salsas ranging from mild to spicy. I love mixing their avocado and green salsa on top of my tacos. I'm a particular fan of carne asada and cabeza tacos, and while they're not the absolute best tacos I've ever had, at $1 per taco it's a great deal and a pretty good meal.

Have come here since I was a kid with my parents, my mom loves getting the tongue burrito. Their escabeche is on point too.

You definitely need to come early if you want to get the oxtails because they sell out real quick. I got the fried catfish with Mac n cheese and dirty rice. The catfish was fried very well and the fish was very flaky and not fishy at all. The dirty rice and Mac n cheese were also good. They seem to have run out of things as time goes on so it's more of what they have left if you come later. The staff was very nice and the food can take some time to wait.

I ordered the fried catfish plate with collard greens and cornbread. The catfish was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside while staying juicy and flaky inside -- seasoned beautifully without being greasy. The collard greens were tender and flavorful without being overly salty, really seasoned perfectly and the cornbread had a great texture -- moist and warm but not overly sweet. And then some bonus surprise hush puppies that were so so good! Crunchy on the outside, soft and savory inside -- it really rounded out the meal and left me smiling. Prices are fair for the quality and portion size (my plate was $21), and the service vibe was friendly and welcoming. Their menu's stacked with everything from Big South Wings to ribs and jambalaya, and I'm already thinking about what to try next. Follow them on Instagram @bigsouthslc to see where they're going to be next. If you're craving serious Southern comfort food, Big South is a must. One of the best food trucks I've hit in a while -- no question.

I ordered a pork bowl and I had to force feed because sure the pork was alright but all I tasted was pure soy and simple carbs and after I finished, my stomach started to HURT. I dismissed it thinking since it was my first time having that kind of fast food, my stomach is getting used to it... no. Later in the night, I woke up needing to use the bathroom. I. do. Not. Kid. You. My feces looked like green sludge. It was as if i ate dark green dye with spoiled milk. I literally cultivated unknown bacteria inside of me from cupbop. Last time that happened, it was when I had the stomach flu. Sure, it was my first experience INSIDE of cupbop (I've ordered online previously and stopped because it became worse over time), but legit ANYTHING ELSE around the mall WILL BE BETTER THAN CUPBOP! Talking about inside, I guess cupbop has a nice area and it is spacious but besides that everything is mid. Osakas is my go to, like panda express but more better, with service being bright unlike cupbop where the employees seemed bland and depressed. DO NOT GET CUPBOP, it is the last thing that is interesting. I feel petty now. I would post a foto of the results cupbop did to me but thats nasty.

It's hot as hell cuz it's late August early September and those orange slices and Gatorade ain't cuttin it man I need some cold like ice cold. So I got a churro. I ain't ever seen one of these let alone had or tasted one but the homie said it was bomb so I said what the heck. I got one and it was bomb! I ain't gonna go into the specifics of what I was feeling cuz I copped two more, one for me and one for me later. But yeah that's what this place did to me. Transported me back in time. I love it! They got Nutella, strawberry, guava and some other flavors also with some ice cream if you're feeling dangerous. And I feel safe being dangerous here.
