Their Honey Dew Slush with Boba is AWESOME, and they served it in less than 2 minutes (beat that Pearl Tea House)! The cashier/server was very friendly and was quick to make some suggestions....but I went with my favorite flavor and it did not dissapoint. It had a generous amount of boba. I have been to Boba many time since they have opened and I can see where people who are sushi snobs may not like it, but it is good sushi for the location and the price. The rolls use to be huge, but they have been scaled down and are more manageable. I usually order the rainbow roll, shrimp tempura, california, british columbia, or butterfly. They are good. Don't care for the hot mama. Ground fish on top just isn't appetizing to me. Lemoore has a sushi joint and I'm not sure it rates one. The owner is awesome and she remembers her customers. read more

This is my current go-to sushi place. Thai iced tea blended into a shake is absolutely a favorite. Well-balanced menu, a favorite is the lion king roll. As well as the dragon roll. Was kind of turned off a little by the roll with the avocado on top of it the last time I ate there. It just threw me off with the consistency. But overall, this is a great place to eat. read more

Used to love this place. Last visit was not what I usually get from boba island. No a.c. and was very crowded. Food was very disappointing. Sushi didn't taste like the quality I expect from boba. I don't know if they had a big rush or something before I got there, but it seemed like consistency was missing this time. I wish they had more room and more seating. read more

We haven't found a place with good sushi anywhere in the Lemoore/Hanford area. This place is definitely the best around. It isn't amazing by any means, but when you have a craving for some sushi, this hits the spot! I am a huge fan of their Boba drinks...I get the Coconut, yum! read more

Been going to this place for years. I have tried every flavor boba twice always delicious. Owners might be the sweetest lady ever always smiling and very friendly. Food always hot and fresh very consistent. Not a huge sushi fan sadly but the girls at work sent me here at least 3 times a weak for their fix. Dragon rolls and California rolls were the faves I believe. Little secret they also serve SCOOPED ICE CREAM! It's the go to spot for movie goers as its conveniently located right across the street from Lemoore Stadium Theaters so you can imagine how perfect it is to get there early for a quick lunch before a flick. read more

I went to a Quickly in the Bay Area recently, and have become addicted to milk teas with boba. I had a hankering since I've returned home, and decided to try Boba. I've been here before, because my son loves the sushi. I went here on 9/14 and 9/15. I ordered the Taro Milk Tea, extra sweet, with boba. On both occasions, both were delicious! Unfortunately, on the second day, I had ordered a large, but was charged for a regular and was not asked if I wanted iced or slushed. I did manage to let them know I wanted an iced version before it was made, so that saved me additional disappointment due to the size. I am a milk tea novice, so I don't have the ordering part down yet. Will definitely be back, because customer service is awesome and the teas are too yummy! read more

Loved the sushi we had the hot mama roll which was not as spicy as I hoped however the spicy tuna roll hit the spot! the rolls are hearty so one roll and you are full! I had their honey dew melon boba for a dessert it was ok, i've had better. read more

Great sushi in Lemoore. I had the Philadelphia Roll and the Spicy Tuna roll and both were amazing. The portions were so large that I was unable to finish both rolls so be careful with how much you order! Also try their homemade oatmeal chocolate-chip cookies! read more

Let me explain the reason for the one star. I have always been a fan of Boba Island. Today is the last time I'll be going. Ordered a roll, some gyoza, and a couple boba drinks. The place got busy and I stood closer to the kitchen. As I was waiting, I was watching the young lady (thin with a long pony tail) make the drinks. They have a new machine for the film vs. the lid. I am not sure if she did not know how to use the machine, or if this is her typical practice. As she made my drink, she wiped the top excess with her finger, then licked it. As if this was not enough, she did it 3 more times then made an "mmmm" sound to another worker. I debated getting my money back and making a scene. Rather, I chose to take my drinks silently, write this review, and never return. Not only was this unprofessional, it is beyond unsanitary. Bummer, how a good thing can easily be ruined. Do what you want with the information, and keep your eyes peeled. read more

I was not a big sushi fan and ran into this place by accident about a year ago. I go now at least once a week for a CA roll or Bento box. I am very pleased with the food and atmosphere and find the owners and their counter help most refreshing. Not to pricey and food is very good. I love Boba Island, it's one of my favorite places in town to stop in and pick up lunch. Really good teriyaki chicken, but my favorite is the sushi. Without doubt it's the best sushi I've ever bought in town and in terms of their type of location, a small walk in with just a few tables, the best I've ever had as well. I'd recommend this place to a friend, in fact I do often, and those who've gone there have loved it as well. They're really friendly too!!! read more

Without a doubt, one of the five worst restaurants I've ever eaten at! I'm not super picky about hole in the wall places & I was hopeful after reading the other reviews that this one would be good. Boy was I disappointed! Firstly the sushi rolls are WAY too big! All you could taste was rice. I don't know what it is about the Hanford/Lemoore area that sushi chefs feel the need to make jumbo rolls but they are NOT good! The rolls didn't stay together at all so it was virtually impossible to eat them with chopsticks, we had to use forks (& we know how to use chopsticks)! It's more like a lunch counter sushi place than an actual restaurant. They serve on paper plates & even that wouldn't bother me if the food were good but it's not. Just an all around disappointment. The only saving grace is that the owners are really nice. Not nice enough to serve crappy food, but nice. Another thing is that contrary to some of the other reviews, we found it to be expensive. We ordered 4 rolls (Philly, hot mama, dragon, & caterpillar) & 2 sodas & paid $50. Maybe it's this area but I've had cheaper, better sushi in San Diego (where you would expect expensive dinners) that included alcohol with the meal for about the same price.
