This is my to-go boba AND sushi spot in Lemoore whenever I visit. I was SOOOO glad that there was even a boba shop here in the first place. Being Asian and from LA where there's plentiful boba spots, I gots to have me bobaaaa! Their slush and boba are always good. The only downfall is the slush tends to get watery quick when you let it sit. Preferably, I like my slush be slushy till the very last drop. I've tried their Iced Milk Tea and Iced Honeydew once. Both times, the drink tasted too powdery so stick with their slush and smoothies.. unless you are a brave soul haha. The sushi here is pretty good too. BUT sometimes the sushi falls apart after picking up with my chopsticks. My favs are the Lion King, Spicy Salmon Tempura, Dragon rolls, Philadelphia... basically I like everything. It depends what I'm craving for. They aren't overly priced being like.. the only boba shop in town. Drinks are about $4 (regular size) and sushi average $8-$10 depending on what you want. I think their cheapest sushi roll (probably 2 pieces) is about $4. The regular portion of a sushi roll is 8 pieces which is enough to keep you satisfied probably for lunch. But for dinner, I'd say 2 rolls will keep your tummy happy. The girls working at the register are always polite. If you want fast service, I recommend going on a regular week day rather than weekend. Being from orang county ca we are well versed in boba. However this place didn't come close at all. I'm not saying it's bad it's just ok. We expect wow when we eat or drink anything. The drinks are decent. I will go back again, maybe, but the teriyaki chicken bowl as not good. The sushi is ok but I expected more. If I do decide to go back it will be for the boba only. read more

This little place across from Lemoore Cinemas is a great way to gorge yourself with good sushi and boba smoothies. First time i tried the strawberry banana smoothie with boba, i was in heaven. Who would have thought a small black round ball of tapioca could make a drink so tasty. Not only are the smoothies or teas out of this world, but the sushi is amazing as well. i can't get enough of their dragon and tiger rolls with a hint of wasabi. There isn't much room to sit inside and enjoy your meal, but take out is always an option. It may take awhile for the food and drinks, but its worth the wait. read more

Boba me! Love the eclectic feel of the place, like an icecream shop that does sushi. And good sushi at that! Rainbow roll was good quality with attention to presentation, and the ginger root was fresh. Roll size was huge, more than a mouthful. Love Boba Island, their menu makes me happy, I LOVE the Red Velvet Boba drink... amazing. They even cut my sushi in half without giving me weird looks. I have a really small mouth (stop snickering) and find it uncomfortable to eat sushi without feeling overwhelmed. The solution is for me to request the sushi cut in half, and that request doesn't always go over well (I've had waiters at other places actually complain that the chefs don't like cutting the sushi). The lady taking my order was so nice about it and that means a lot to me. The food is always good (we've had some of their fried foods, wings, as well), very tasty, fresh. The store is small but clean, I wish there was some more room for seating, but that's about the only complaint I have. =) read more

Ok so I am super picky about Sushi. My bestie recommended this spot. And I have to say it was DELISH! I got the White Dragon roll and the Red Dragon Roll. Both were very yummy. Portions are good. This is my favorite overall Dining establishment in Lemoore. The spicy salmon tempura is my go to sushi dish here. I love their sweet potato fries and all the drink options are great! The inside is small but they do have two tables outside. The staff has always been super accommodating, I stopped by 30 minutes before they opened one Saturday morning without knowing they weren't open yet and they let me come in and order, The owner (I am assuming) gave me a fresh cookie he just got done baking that was a meal within itself, it was delicious! I am not a huge fan of boba however the green tea one was pretty decent. The sushi well nothing was wrong with it just poorly prepared the rice isn't sticky enough to hold the rolls together. Sashimi would maybe be a better choice? Over not too bad for middle of nowhere sushi and boba. read more

as a first timer at boba island, i went over and purchased the shrimp tempura roll. it was really moist and i loved the texture of the fried shrimp especially with the creamy avocado. great atmosphere but didn't had the chance to try the boba drinks. read more

1 star is being lenient here. This is the worst place I ever been to lol. Okay, first of all, the rice/sushi is incredibly over-priced. Bento-style which is barely any rice anyway is $10 and I got a rice bowl for $7. I wonder what the profit margin is on their business...like 98%? You get about $0.60 worth of food max. I felt so unfulfilled and ripped off. Plus, if you're a health fanatic, you shouldn't be going here anyway because quality is like F- at best. Even the place smells of a used grease and oil stench. The lady at the front can barely speak english, I asked her about eggrolls and she couldn't understand me. After consuming $7 of some rice and 2 pieces of broccoli and a little bit of teriyaki chicken, I was left wondering where my food was. This is why I don't eat sushi and still won't. read more

Not what it used to be. Great drinks, great food, great prices a while back but lately it seems different. I know it underwent a change of ownership and they seem to have slowly changed alot about the place and not really for the better. There is sushi on the menu now, and its pretty good. The prices have gone up and alot of the other food has gone down in quality. Used to have phenomenal garlic fries now they are very bland and low quality. As for their Boba, I would say that I am satisfied with them and always look forward to getting some whenever I come back to Lemoore - though, can they add a little bit more boba to the drinks? For a local sushi shop it was pretty good. I got the Rock-n-roll and the Shrimp tempura roll. They were both good just not the best I have had and I definitely liked the shrimp tempura much better. This is a review for the boba only. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the boba here. I'm very particular about the appropriate texture for boba. It wasn't the best, but it was very good and not clumpy. I came here last week when it was very cold, but I wanted a fruit smoothie anyway. The strawberry banana was very tasty; I was very impressed that the boba didn't freeze or clump together inside the cold smoothie or atmosphere. Only downside to the boba here was the portion size. Eh, This place was alright. I got an Iced Thai tea and I teriyaki chicken bowl. The flavor was good, but the rice and chicken were soggy. The tea tasted like it was made with tap water (and if you're from the area you know what I'm talking about. ) I got my daughter a strawberry smoothie, which tasted like artificially sweetener...EXACTLY what I want to be giving to my 4 year old...not. I would have given it a four star at least if they had maybe another person working the counter. I had ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl and the tempura spicy salmon roll and a green tea boba. Now this was my first time so this is off my own personal taste trying a boba and I did not care for the taste but I know many people like that milky tea consistence. Anyway, the teriyaki bowl was delicious. The tempura spicy salmon roll was a little questionable, it would have been awesome without the cream cheese but I was willing to try. I used to eat here at least once every week when due to the fact that I had classes nearby, I loved it and it was really great for the price. So that being said I hate to say the quality has gone down by a lot. The rolls are so much more smaller than they used to be and if you get anything "spicy" its just caked in chili powder and u can't ever taste the tiny little slivers of fish and veggies. There has been multiple occasions where I had come in before rushes or before plenty of others and they forgot to bring my order out from the back or even just skipped over mine, my most recent time I waited a half an hour just to get my full order, while I watched five other customers that came in after mine receive theres. I work in food service too so I try to be understanding but honestly it's all so disorganized and I feel as though I much better off just ordering from 201 kitchen in Hanford, I've never had any of these issues there. read more

The sushi and boba offerings are pretty standard fare, and will satisfy the uninitiated/first-timers to this food. However, for those that are looking for something more "authentic" (I hate using that term, btw), you'll probably want to look somewhere else. But if you have the craving, Boba Island certainly fills the bill for that. read more

Been here a couple times, literally twice. I ordered a milk tea with boba because I was craving for some boba drinks and oh I wish there was a tapioca express around here. Anyway, this was the only one nearby the base (I live in the naval base) It tasted alright, almost like any milk tea you would order, I did not like the boba though, I'm very picky with boba &this wasn't it for me. The second I came here, I ordered another milk tea slush? But without the boba and also ordered sushi for my husband &I. We love sushi &again this place was the closest to base so we wanted to try out the sushi. It had a lot of rice than the crab meat or whatever else we ordered.. The rice also seemed a bit idk how to explain it but it just wasn't that great. If I happen to come here again, I'd probably just get the milk tea drink. read more

If you're in Lemoore and HAVE to have sushi, this place will do. Seems like owners are still learning the craft as some of our rolls had huge chunks of fish and uneven thickness of rice. My go to sushi place in Lemoore. Usually get Philadelphia roll (so delicious) and spicy tuna roll. The wait for your food is very minimal, and the location is easy to get in and out of. Local sushi places may have a slight price advantage, but Boba takes the cake with taste. read more
