My money, my time, my gas, and my effort showing up at this business mean something and are worth a lot to me. To be told the second I walked in that they had too many online orders and weren't taking any more in-person orders, while the floors were soaking wet and all the chairs were flipped on top of the tables, was not just insulting but a clear message that I have zero value to this business. First-time customer and last-time customer. If you plan to close an hour, or even 40 minutes, before your posted closing time, then change your closing time to reflect that. I ended up going to Juice It Up at 8:40 p.m., and they happily took my order with a smile. What a difference it makes to be treated humanely.

Prices are on the high side, true, but I have a juicer at home and buying fresh veggies, citrus, parsley, etc al., that adds up fast, so the prices are actually fair for periodic visits. Otherwise, there are zero frills at any location and by design most are take-out oriented. Occasionally they're backed up with online and walk-in orders, but it's the overall quality that matters most to me.

I had come in and ordered their honeydew milk tea with boba and an order of their popcorn chicken on a kiosk near the front door. I decided to take a seat on their sofa and saw many people sitting around, relaxing. I can see how busy it could get, especially when school starts in the next few weeks. After about five minutes, my boba had come out. The popcorn chicken took about fifteen minutes. I was very disappointed with both of my items. Their popcorn chicken, although it was crunchy, it lacked any flavor or seasoning. I couldn't taste pepper or salt, either! I had to douse it in sweet and sour sauce. As for my honeydew milk tea with boba, it was very sweet and you can taste the honeydew flavors, but the boba had absolutely no flavor to it. It was also extremely chewy, like chewing gum. I was quite disappointed in my food and drink, and had tossed both halfway through. I understand why college students frequent this place due to the pricing and quickness, but it's not for me.

So i got the boba milk tea and my friend got the thai ice tea with boba and we order a med. popcorn chicken. the drinks here are delicious. the popcorn chicken was GOOD, so juicy and spicy it was like a party in my mouth!! the boba is soft and chewy and you can actually taste the flavor of the drink. not water down unlike other boba places i've gone. So its great to know I can get some delicious boba drinks&snacks at a lovely price. after all i'm still a student so the dough isn't rolling in anytime soon. okay quick review of the place. since it was their grand opening today the place was super pack. I love the idea that they had a photo booth going on, which was fun. but what stood out to me the most was their customer service. see they forgot to charge my friend for boba in his thai tea. and instead of "rolling her eyes, and be all bitchy about it" she just smiled and apologize for the mistake and added boba to his drink, without charge. the place was kept really clean, even the bathrooms!! which is surprising since it was so busy. i believe i've finally found the perfect place to study. did i forget to mention they got a WHITE BOARD!!! i no longer have to go to library anymore for group projects :) so for those who havent heard about boba tea house come in check it out. great service, yummy drinks, and the price wont make a hole in your wallet unlike ten ren. I was in the area looking for a boba spot and decided to stop by. Ordering was super easy with their kiosk, and I noticed their Special Honey Pudding Smoothie on the menu--it looked perfect for a hot day, so I gave it a try. Honestly, best decision ever! The drink was incredible--smooth, creamy, and refreshing. You can really taste the rich honey blended with the milk tea, and the pudding adds a silky texture that makes every sip fun and unique. The honey boba was also a standout--soft, chewy, and lightly sweet, way better than what I've had at other places. If you're craving boba, the Special Honey Pudding Smoothie is a must-try. Definitely a 10/10. The inside of the shop is bright, clean, and welcoming. It has a cozy vibe with neatly arranged tables that were spotless when I walked in. The space smells fresh, which immediately gave me a good impression. The two guys working behind the counter were really friendly and approachable--they greeted me right away, smiled, and made the place feel even more inviting. The place is small but has a very modern interior design. Very chic and relaxing but it gets stuffy when tons of people come in. The staff is friendly. The bathroom could use a clean up every now and then. Their drinks are very good. My favorite is the thai tea, not too sweet or milky. I especially love their 50cent mochi snacks. Its not to far from the school and easy to get access to. There is also a bakery next door so it accompanies it quite well. I just wish sometimes their music wasn't so loud. Nonetheless, its a good cafe if you want to relax for certain minutes. read more

this boba joint gets a 1 start from me because the times that i have been here i see this lady carryring a baby behind a counter and it running all over the place. i don't know if she is the owner or not? babies don't belong back there regardless. the people working there i can tell are like pushed to get chatty with you...like seriously i just came to buy a drink or two. nobody got time for that. and the only time i decided to use their bathrooms, it's filthy. the drinks here are OKAY. they make it so freaking sweet even when i requested to put less sugar. read more

One of the better places for boba at Riverside. Their boba is quite chewy and has a good texture to it. The milk tea is balanced and you can adjust your sugar level to your liking. The shaved snow is really good. They give you a mountain amount of snow and you can select whichever toppings you want. It is also conveniently in a small plaza so you can eat and shops around while drinking your boba. Would come again. read more

Probably my favorite Boba place near UCR! Their milk teas are my favorite, especially the Honey Green Milk Tea, Honey Pudding Milk Tea or the Mango Green Tea. The popcorn chicken is BOMB too. I used to be obsessed with the shaved snow but they made the portion size so much smaller than they used to give. Also, they have great late night deals during UCR's Finals Week for drinks under $2! read more
