The drinks were delicious and served in nice, sturdy cups. Matcha Storm: A dessert-style matcha slush blended with creme brulee, this drink is a cup of creamy richness. It was blended perfectly to have a smooth, but slightly granular texture without any chunkiness. Moon Princess: From the secret menu, this is a peach green tea with chewy crystal boba. I really enjoyed every element of this drink. It was surprisingly creamy and had just the right amount of sweetness. Online ordering can be done through the app - super convenient and easy. I had tried Krak Boba in Westminster so my wife and I had to check this one out in Riverside since we were in the area. First things first is that this location is quite spacious, although it's a smaller store, I find that the store made the store very spacious with what they got. There's plenty of tables around and we saw a few hanging about and some on their devices. We had order online so there was no wait at all. I highly recommend downloading their app as they have promotions very often. My go to drink at Krak Boba is forever the Matcha Storm (Slush) and my wife wanted to try the Moon Princess drink. As the Matcha Storm is always a wonderful choice, they're always very consistent with the drink. Super refreshing no matter the situation and this time was no different. It's one of their most popular drinks and for good reason. My wife's drink, the Moon Princess was in my opinion, even better than the Matcha Storm. I don't know how to really describe it, but it was a taste that I had rarely seen. It was super refreshing, a mix of floral and oolong, it was just the perfect drink. Located on Chicago and University Avenues in the Town Square shopping center with plenty of parking. I stopped here for an energy boost so I immediately eyed their 'Coffee' menu. I ordered their 'Matcha Coffee' and I added Boba, which is served over ice. It was exactly what I needed! The drink had somewhat of a heavy texture and was so refreshing. After having a light dinner at Pho Ha #7 in Riverside, I needed to find a boba shop to pick up some boba drinks for my daughters. My friend was with me and we both were searching for nearby boba places. The ones we found were all within 10 to 15 minutes from where we were at. It wasn't until my friend came to the rescue and located Krak Boba that was literally 2 mins driving distance away just on the other side of the block. Thanks my friend! So here we are at Krak Boba located in Town Square of Riverside. It's a cute and bright shop. Good amount of seating. There is one all gender restroom for use which is always nice to have especially at a drink place. You never know when you need to go after drinking a full cup of liquids. We barely made it as it was about 10 minutes before closing time. Good selections drinks available. I usually don't get too experimental with my boba drinks. My daughters and I have our go-tos. Brown sugar milk tea with crystal boba for my youngest. Peach jasmine green tea with lychee jelly for my eldest. I decided to try something different and went with one of their newest creation CocoThai Butterfly. Of course, we got our drinks with 100% sweetness and no ice (I don't like watery drinks, but sometimes a little ice is okay). My motto... make it the way you designed it. The drinks were filled up to the top even with no ice which I prefer. Thanks Krak Boba for not taking 2 inches off our drinks just because we asked for no ice. I know some boba places do that or they charge an extra $1.00 or so for no ice... really folks??? My daughters liked their drinks very much. As for me, I didn't realize until I got home that my CocoThai Butterfly did not look anything like the photo. It didn't have the blue and white layers. All it had was the usual Thai orange color all throughout the drink. I'm going to have to inquire about that the next time I'm at Krak Boba. Nevertheless, my drink was still delightful. It tasted slightly different compared to the usual Thai drink, but a good different. I don't think I got the coco flavor though. All me and my boyfriend get are strawberry matcha lattes so we wanted to try Krak's. They do overload on the strawberry though so I wish the matcha taste was stronger, but I'll just ask for less strawberry next time so it's pretty good overall. This particular store in Riverside is in an area that's a bit dicey, a dirty, often crime-ridden zone with lots of homelessness, so lock the doors. Inside the store, the appearance is not much different if you're acquainted with the brand. Similar decor, selfie areas, and illustrated menus. The staff were friendly and helpful, 5 stars for that. Unfortunately, the outcomes were shy of the mark for different reasons. Hers was supposed to be fizzy, but the lack of ice to cool down the ingredients simply wasn't there. Mine had a similar issue with the fruit being warm from the blender, perhaps? Either way, we were both a little disappointed. I was craving boba the morning after going to an event at the NOS center. I had high hopes seeing the reviews for this place. I have a huge sweet tooth, but the Kraken Signature Milk Tea was way too sweet and did not have enough tea flavor. I should probably should have gotten the lowest sweetness level - so blame myself for the sweetness. However, the lack of tea flavor is difficult to overcome. I probably won't be coming back. The Moon Princess was interesting since I've never tried pink crystal boba before but it just tastes like regular crystal boba. Also, when we first entered this place, it had a strange smell and the floor was pretty dirty like as if it hasn't been mopped in a while. But on the plus side, there's a lot of parking since this is in a plaza. My first and probably only boba review in the Riverside area. Being my first time exploring IE, I looked at multiple boba shops on Yelp and ended up choosing this one. Turns out it's a chain that's also in LA lol I ordered a Dragon Slayer, and the presentation was nothing like the images. I was kinda sad cause it looked so much better on the menu, but my drink was super sad to look at. I had to mix everything manually for the flavors to mix/look better. Aside from looks, it tasted really good with the perfect sweetness without adjustment. The smoothie was also really smooth without chunks. However the mangoes were sour as I'm pretty sure they were frozen. The dragon fruit juice is mainly for color imo, as I didn't taste as much of it. We always try to get new things and try a new drink every time, so I will be updating this review each time we go :) With so many good boba spots around campus, it's always hard deciding where to go. More often than not, we find ourselves coming back to Krak, and for good reason. The service is fast, the place is usually always clean, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating! It also helps that they serve some of the best boba in Riverside! There are so many good drinks here that it would be impossible to recommend just one or two. With that being said, here are some of our favorites: King Brûlée (11/10): This is my personal favorite drink at Krak! It has just the right level of sweetness, texture, and different flavors blended together. To be fair, I really enjoy sweeter drinks, but if you don't like your drinks super sweet you can always order reduced sweetness! You can also order a blended version called the Queen Brûlée which is equally as good! Strawberry Snow (9/10): This one is super creamy and sweet...and it has A LOT of strawberry flavor. If you're a fan of strawberries it's a must-try! Gurellia Thai (9/10): There are a lot of different flavors packed here, but they all work surprisingly well! The matcha is amazing and the cheese cream really adds a nice twist and rounds everything off nicely. Strawberry and lychee yogurt (10/10): For a while, these two were my go-to orders at krak, and it's for a good reason: they're both absolutely delicious. They both are a little sweet (even for me!), so I would actually recommend asking for reduced sweetness here. They come default with popping boba, but if you're more of a fan of traditional boba you can switch it out! read more

I opted for the moon princess instead. I got it with easy ice and 50% sweetness. It was tasty, but I feel like the large peach slices and the pink crystal boba took away from the amount of tea that was actually in the drink. I would've liked more tea and less stuff inside. As for the sun bright, it was also 50% sweetness and easy ice, it too was tasty, but not something that I would order again. My experiences at the actual store have been great. However, I work nearby this location and we often get boba delivered. I always order the same thing - a jasmine tea with sea cream and boba. It's been 2-3 times now where I order this via delivery and it has NEVER actually arrived with sea cream. It is always forgotten.
