Good place for errands and boba run before work, fast quick and staff are helpful. Order wintermelon fruit tea and had brown sugar tops with crystal boba.

Located on Chicago and University Avenues in the Town Square shopping center with plenty of parking. I stopped here for an energy boost so I immediately eyed their 'Coffee' menu. I ordered their 'Matcha Coffee' and I added Boba, which is served over ice. It was exactly what I needed! The drink had somewhat of a heavy texture and was so refreshing. Their menu consists of 'Milk Teas, Smoothies, Fruit Teas, Coffee flavors', and a variety of topping selections like Boba, Coffee Jelly, Pudding, etc. Prices are very reasonable. Service was fast and efficient. Shout out to 'Leann' who was friendly and helpful with the menu. There are plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your treat. I had a great experience here and will definitely return to try other flavors.

After having a light dinner at Pho Ha #7 in Riverside, I needed to find a boba shop to pick up some boba drinks for my daughters. My friend was with me and we both were searching for nearby boba places. The ones we found were all within 10 to 15 minutes from where we were at. It wasn't until my friend came to the rescue and located Krak Boba that was literally 2 mins driving distance away just on the other side of the block. Thanks my friend! So here we are at Krak Boba located in Town Square of Riverside. It's a cute and bright shop. Good amount of seating. There is one all gender restroom for use which is always nice to have especially at a drink place. You never know when you need to go after drinking a full cup of liquids. We barely made it as it was about 10 minutes before closing time. Good selections drinks available. I usually don't get too experimental with my boba drinks. My daughters and I have our go-tos. Brown sugar milk tea with crystal boba for my youngest. Peach jasmine green tea with lychee jelly for my eldest. I decided to try something different and went with one of their newest creation CocoThai Butterfly. Of course, we got our drinks with 100% sweetness and no ice (I don't like watery drinks, but sometimes a little ice is okay). My motto... make it the way you designed it. The drinks were filled up to the top even with no ice which I prefer. Thanks Krak Boba for not taking 2 inches off our drinks just because we asked for no ice. I know some boba places do that or they charge an extra $1.00 or so for no ice... really folks??? My daughters liked their drinks very much. As for me, I didn't realize until I got home that my CocoThai Butterfly did not look anything like the photo. It didn't have the blue and white layers. All it had was the usual Thai orange color all throughout the drink. I'm going to have to inquire about that the next time I'm at Krak Boba. Nevertheless, my drink was still delightful. It tasted slightly different compared to the usual Thai drink, but a good different. I don't think I got the coco flavor though. I definitely need to get the CocoThai Butterfly again to experience it for real. Overall experience was a good quick one. Staff was pleasant. Drinks came out fairly quickly and was delivered to us at the table. Thanks for the great service! Of course, it was closing time so we had to go. I would come back here again should I be in the area in the future.

Great service for their customers. All the interactions with their guests were super friendly and helpful. Down to earth and approachable. Really enjoyed the sense of community here. Inside seating order ahead to avoid the line. The classic craving for that perfect drink is concocted and packaged in a travel friendly vessel here. Lots of parking available right in front.

Parking: Decent amount available! Ambience: Fairly spacious with a good amount of seating available. Decorated with lots of neon signs / screens and plants. Service: Standard, no complaints! Taste: Got the strawberry matcha latte, which I expected to taste artificial given the bright colors, but it was actually good :) Fairly sweet but not too much, and the boba consistency and drink flavors were all great!

Krak Boba is such a cute spot!! The staff are friendly! The drinks were great . The mango snow was delicious!! The parking is easy since it's in a shopping center.

All me and my boyfriend get are strawberry matcha lattes so we wanted to try Krak's. They do overload on the strawberry though so I wish the matcha taste was stronger, but I'll just ask for less strawberry next time so it's pretty good overall. Plus our drinks were ready in less than 3 minutes and it's cute in there.

Krak Boba is a good chain that is expanding in many SOCAL cities. My previous experience was in Rancho Cucamonga, followed by one on 17th in Santa Ana. Both of those locations turned out excellent drinks with great attention to detail and made us fans of the brand. This particular store in Riverside is in an area that's a bit dicey, a dirty, often crime-ridden zone with lots of homelessness, so lock the doors. Inside the store, the appearance is not much different if you're acquainted with the brand. Similar decor, selfie areas, and illustrated menus. The staff were friendly and helpful, 5 stars for that. Unfortunately, the outcomes were shy of the mark for different reasons. Hers was supposed to be fizzy, but the lack of ice to cool down the ingredients simply wasn't there. Mine had a similar issue with the fruit being warm from the blender, perhaps? Either way, we were both a little disappointed. She'd order differently in the future, but I had selected something familiar, so hopefully, next time, it'll come out better? Anyhow, we're glad to have a store closer than 15+ miles away.

Krak boba is definitely at the top of my list of favorite boba spots in Riverside! Some of my favorite drinks if you're craving something - blended: dragon slayer, strawberry snow - milky: king brulee, strawberry yogurt, thai tea I just tried their strawberry yogurt drink and it was literally so good. I finished it way too fast. Their service is also great, the drinks always come out super fast!

I didn't want to enter any cafe very small/ with petite tables or judgement if I sat down for 1.5 hr to work on my computer. I bought a sausage croissant which was just ok, but still a nice quick breakfast item. I was able to sit in a comfy chair with an outlet source & table to conference in my meeting. I was left unbothered & comfortable the whole time, which I greatly appreciated. There are several lounge chairs, tables & areas to space out to work, read, lounge, etc! I would certainly return another day to try out their coffee menu and those earl grey lavender scones (wish I saw those first!!) The barista was kind & the atmosphere very pleasant!

SERVICE here is VERY BAD!…read more The service at Back to the Grind was genuinely one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've had. While I was in the middle of placing my order, an older gentleman wearing glasses abruptly walked away from me mid-conversation to speak with someone he knew. No acknowledgment, no "I'll be right back," nothing. I was left standing there confused and waiting while they casually chatted amongst themselves. At the same time, my husband approached another employee -- a young woman with very long black hair and a pink bandana (see pic)-- simply to ask for the WiFi password. Without even looking at him, she told him he needed to "buy something first." When he explained that I was already ordering, she repeated herself in a dismissive tone and continued making sandwiches without making eye contact once. What stood out most wasn't just the lack of hospitality, but the overall attitude from multiple staff members. The environment felt cold, dismissive, and inconvenienced by customers being there at all. Ironically, the café advertises community classes like yoga and live meditation classes on the window, yet basic customer service and professionalism seem completely absent. The food itself was fine, which is why this review is specifically about the service experience. Even after how poorly we were treated, I still left a tip because I refuse to match that level of disrespect. Management seriously needs to address the customer service culture here. One rude interaction can happen anywhere -- but multiple employees displaying the same behavior reflects a larger issue.

I must say I was hesitant to go here for a few reasons (none of them great, to be honest). First, the name--I didn't get the connection between "arcade" and "coffee" (then again what does that matter). Second, the location: it's in an odd building that doesn't scream typical coffee shop, with restricted and unusual parking. After overcoming these nonsensical, self-created mental barriers, we walked inside and saw that this is a sophisticated operation with wonderful products, employees, and a truly unique experience. When we entered, we saw a very nice menu with pictures showcasing the drinks and highlighting what makes each one special. The barista was super casual and friendly. She asked over the counter if we had any questions and told us to let her know when we were ready. Her welcoming approach was perfect for first-time visitors. We ordered the Mango Sticky Rice matcha and the Cherry Glaze matcha. Both were delicious, and it was clear that quality is a major focus here. The matchas weren't overloaded with syrup like some places; instead, they tasted naturally infused--subtle, balanced, and perfect. For snacks, we tried the salmon bagel and the blueberry scone. Both were excellent. The bagel was fresh and packed with flavor, again showcasing quality ingredients. The scone was one of the best I've had from a coffee shop--it tasted like it came straight from a bakery. The blueberries were large and bursting with flavor, and the texture was ideal: not too hard, not too soft. It was just right. (They should name it "Goldilocks"!) In addition to coffee, matcha, and chai tea, they also offer craft sodas and other choices for any mood. We decided to enjoy our drinks and snacks inside. As we sat, we noticed they have their own bean-roasting machine (totally unique!). I've never seen one in person, but for coffee lovers who enjoy fresh roasts, this means they bring in green coffee beans, roast them on-site, and produce the freshest, highest-quality product possible. (You could say "they have the beans" -- a little Curb Your Enthusiasm reference for fans of the show.) Aside from having "the beans," they also had a projector showing the World Cup. There are plenty of seating options: tables with chairs, standing desks, sofas, and benches. We will definitely be returning to this little slice of heaven on Earth.
