Lunas Sunday Cafe Moreno Valley Date went 6/19/26 Ordered 3 drinks Ordered at around 3:42pm and got our drinks at around 5:50pm so about an 8 minute wait time for 3 drinks. I think this is really good considering how busy they were Location it's near Cinnabon and Chuze fitness, so it was on the opposite side of the mall from where we entered (Macys). DRINK ORDERED: Banana Pudding Matcha I'm only going to be rating the drink I personally had. RATING: 7/10; I never thought banana pudding and matcha would be a flavor combo I'd drink together, but it was overall decent. I wish they would have put a small layer of banana pudding at the bottom of the cup and then the layer at the top. I was only able to taste the banana pudding until I was almost done with my drink. It's not something I'd drink again personally, but it could be others cup of tea! My other two parties got a Coconut Matcha and Luna Latte and they both gave it a 10/10. Luna's Sunday Cafe is such a hidden little spot inside the mall that I always walk by, so I finally thought, why not try it? The café itself is cute and nicely decorated. It's a bit small inside, but they also have seating outside, which is nice if you want more space to sit and hang out. When I looked at the menu, I did notice the prices were a bit high. The small matcha was already around $8, so my friend and I decided to get a large Lagoon Matcha for $9 to share, which felt like the better deal. The drink itself wasn't bad, but I was honestly expecting a lot more matcha flavor. It mostly tasted like coconut water, which was refreshing, but there just wasn't enough matcha or cream to really balance it out. The matcha cream top itself was actually pretty good from what I could taste, but I wish there was way more of it. Instead of that richer, deeper matcha flavor you'd expect, it tasted more like a sweet cream with just a hint of matcha. I feel like if the ratio leaned more toward the matcha cream, it would've made the drink way better. The menu also mentioned that the Lagoon Matcha comes with coconut bits, which I was actually looking forward to, but unfortunately I didn't get any in mine. I actually had to go back inside and ask for more matcha cream because I could barely taste any matcha at all, and they were really kind about it and gave me extra, which I appreciated. Overall, the drink felt a bit underwhelming and disappointing, especially for the price. genuinely one of my favorite matchas in the ie, the Stuart is sweet, has a great taste of actual banana & no artificial flavors. You can tell this is a good quality matcha by even just looking at the color of the matcha. The Sunkist matcha is super well made, with I'm guessing a mango purée. I love how the flavors go so well together. As for the service, they are super helpful and kind and the place is really clean. Decent seating inside and outside the spot aswell. If you are looking for a yummy matcha spot this one is great! Prices for these are about about $9 each which is on the pricier side. read more

Luna's Sunday Cafe offers a variety of hot and cold drinks in a little corner pocket of the Moreno Valley Mall. They had a long line but it went by pretty fast. The workers were nice and the drinks were good. I got the Salted Caramel Latte and it was good - a little on the sweet side but good. I did feel like my throat started to close up ... not sure if some ingredient had something I was allergic to. I did drink Benadryl, which helped. I probably won't be coming back here but I did enjoy the drink before my allergic reaction. And the customer service was pleasant and fast. read more

There's a big main menu with popular drinks but when you go inside, there's even more options. Some are seasonal as well. This cafe caters towards both matcha and coffee lovers. Service: The staff was kind and efficient. You just order at the front and wait outside for your drink. Ambiance: Such a cutely decorated cafe inside Moreno Valley Mall! We wanted a matcha on the way to Palm Springs and was surprised to find this. It was in the mall by the entrance where the gym was. We were skeptical at first because of the location but we did enjoy our drinks! We ordered the Strawberry and Double Matcha. It wasn't the best I have had but it was great for the area. Such a cute cafe in the MoVal mall. One of the only places that still is relatively busy. Their matcha is so good, the strawberry matcha and banana cream matchas are so good and are definitely very popular options there. They also have coffee drinks for those that do not like matcha but I have yet to try anything outside of their matchas. Will definitely be back! The line can get quite long, so it would be great if they offered online ordering or at least a self-service kiosk outside, so customers don't have to wait in line to order at the cashier. read more

The cafe is located inside the Moreno Valley mall, right across from Crunch. I had parked by the JcPenney and went through the mall entrance. I walked to the other end of the mall to try to find it. I finally did, it's on the lower level. The cafe definitely has its own ambiance and is easy to spot by how unique it is. There is decor and signs pointing to it being a cafe. I went inside and it has a sort of indie vibe, they had vacations paying on the speaker. I was instantly hooked, it was my kind of vibe. It is a small little cafe, with limited seating inside. It has a bar seating. But plenty of seating is right outside the cafe. I saw pastries right by the counter. There was no line when I came, just one other person ordering. Not really busy but some people were outside, enjoying their drink. I decided to get what they were known for: the fresas con matcha. The barista was pleasant and asked me what type of milk I wanted. I asked him what he recommended and he said oat. I got that. My drink was ready quick, probably took 3-5 minutes. I tasted it on my way out and it was so good! It was a flavor that I really enjoyed.
