First time at this R&B tea location and was impressed! They have specials for each day of the week, and the special for Monday was a free topping for a large milk tea. One thing to note is that the large here is LARGE. It ended up being $9 for a 32 oz cup which we found to be pretty reasonable. We got the house milk tea and it was pretty good. A solid classic milk tea flavor and the boba was really soft and chewy. Recommend going light sweetness since we found 30 percent to be already pretty sweet. Service was good and our drinks came out in a few minutes. The boba shop is also nicely decorated with some board games, cherry blossom decor and stuffed animals. First time visiting this location. Limited free parking in back. Along a strip of shops, a little questionable area but cute interior. There's so many choices for teas & toppings. Blended, iced, or extra large. Order at the kiosks next to the claw machines or at the front register. Little cozy sections to enjoy some tea with a friend. Raw Xiu Mai Came in on monday 23rd around 8pm or so. Ordered a Hokkaido Milk Tea with boba. Milk tea was average and I could still taste the tea and would give it alone a 7.8/10 but the boba was old and was not chewy, it has that mush from sitting in the boba pot for too long. Ordered a bao bun and reheated it to eat and it was fine However when I heated up the xiu mai, the pork inside was still raw and I started dissecting the other pieces to see if it was raw as I had to spit the entire piece of xiu mai out and I'm not sure how you guys reheat this or make it back there but this should have never been raw. Xiu mai cooked should not be THIS pink. Will not be returning with this poor food prep, I could have seriously gotten food poisoning or an upset stomach. read more

Updated Review: Since my original review, the owner responded on Yelp, kindly offering to remake the drinks, which we really appreciated. Update 1 - May 15, 2025: We returned to redeem the remake offer. The same girl who had made our drinks previously was working and kindly apologized. She remade the drink perfectly, just like the first time. Despite needing to return, I left happy! (: Update 2 - July 25-26, 2025: I tried their BOGO matcha promo and ordered the Matcha Cloud (coconut juice with matcha foam) and a $1 Jasmine Green Milk Tea. Both were amazing. The Matcha Cloud was sweet and refreshing, with creamy matcha foam that wasn't too overpowering. The Jasmine Milk Tea (0% sugar, no ice) was floral and strong, exactly my taste, especially with no added sweetener. Encouraged by this, I went back the next day (July 26), but my friend and I received incorrectly made Matcha Clouds, darker in color, not creamy at all, and completely different in taste. I politely asked for a remake, and the staff were very understanding and kind. They remade the drinks, which were much better the second time. Overall: I really enjoy the drinks at R&B Tea. Especially the CocoTwist, Matcha Cloud, Jasmine Green Milk Tea, and their Peach Yakult. However, consistency has been a recurring issue across a couple of visits. The team has always been kind and responsive, which I truly appreciate, but I hope quality control improves so customers don't have to worry about whether or not their drink will taste the same each time. He recommended the coffee stormy or the love latte (which is not on the menu, usually during valentines). So I got both since I was curious. To my surprise they were both delicious! My friend and I decided to take advantage of their happy hour (Monday through Wednesday 11 AM - 1 PM) where you can take advantage of their BOGO 50% deal. The interior is very clean, chairs are comfortable, and it's a great place to study. I loved all the natural lighting. They even provide free printing for customers! The wifi was a bit unstable at first, but was overall okay for the rest of our time there. The pack entrance is very cute and when you come in you can either order from a kiosk or with one of the employees. Ordering through the kiosk was super convenient, and you receive a text once your order has been confirmed and prepared. - Dragon fruit mango green tea, 30% ice, no added sugar, with aloe vera: I'm more of a milk tea gal but decided to try something different especially because of how pretty the drink looked. This was REALLY refreshing, and with no added sugar, it had the perfect amount of natural sweetness. The aloe vera topping paired nicely. I would definitely order this again! - Devil's booster, 50% ice, no added sugar, with lychee jelly: Even with no added sugar, this tea was naturally sweet because of all the fruit. I think it must be some kind of citrus green tea, but it was really refreshing. We waited for our drinks for a bit, but they had just opened so were probably just prepping and they apologized for the wait. They were really friendly and I overhead the staff patiently explaining what boba was to several customers who were trying boba for the first time. Prices are pretty standard. I come here often and the flavor of the drinks are good. Unfortunately the boba is a hit or a miss. On good days, it's fresh and melts in your mouth. On bad days it's like they serve you the boba from the day before . It's hard like a rock with no flavor.. came here on a Sunday and was very disappointed. Paid $17 for two drinks and boba was stale and not fresh..either old boba from the day before or they didn't cook the boba long enough. I'm a simple guy, so I always order the Thai Tea however this time I had the pleasure of some guy named Brandon taking my order. Vibes were up and this dude brings the most energy to the cash register. I kept thinking to myself how is this guy so happy at 3pm on a Tuesday. I visited this location on three separate occasions and tried a different drink each time. On my first visit, I ordered the Jasmine green tea--it was sweet and tasted great. During my second visit, I tried the butterfly pea drink. When I asked about it, one of the employees wasn't able to clearly explain what it was and simply said it was made with lemonade. However, it tasted almost identical to the Jasmine green tea, and I couldn't tell the difference. On my third visit, I ordered a hot coffee, but it was only filled about 3/4th of the way. While I understand that some coffee or boba shops may leave a bit of space at the top, this serving was noticeably underfilled--about 25% of the cup was empty (a little over an inch below the rim). I love this place! They are always so friendly, I get the same drink all the time. The cafe is super cute, the music usually isn't too loud. But the issue is the consistency. I order the same thing all the time (Honey black milk tea) and every time I get it tastes different. I order it the same way too, each time I get honey black milk tea 70% sugar. One day I'll come in and it'll be very bitter, and then next time it'll be super sweet, and another time it'll be just perfect not too sweet and not too bitter. There's trash all over the plaza with some homeless people lurking around and you have to enter from the back so make sure to park around when you enter the parking lot. The boba itself was soft and chewy which was good. I had the milk tea and I was not satisfied with the taste. It was a bit bland yet too milky at the same time. Walking in, I wish the store was more decorated or had a cohesive interior plan. I think it could be a lot more appealing. Giant menu where I noticed the range of prices. Some blended drinks were almost seven dollars and the milk tea prices varied by flavor which is different than other places I've been to. The Hawaii Fruit Tea was definitely the best out of the three we purchased. There's giant chunks of watermelon in it, it's not overly sweet and pretty refreshing. The Lychee Green Tea was too bitter and didn't taste like lychee. Had a tea grainy feel. The Mango Matcha Latte was the absolute worst. No mango taste at all. STRAWBERRY stormy - the strawberry was more tart than sweet so I'll skip out on this next time TARO stormy - yummy but the oreo version was better. MANGO stormy - I don't remember it but my husband enjoyed it. CEREAL MILK - the worst drink ever. It was very weird. It did remind me of cereal because of the soggy cereal pieces but the milk part of it I really didn't like. It didn't taste like milk. I couldn't figure out what the taste was.. BROWN SUGAR BOBA - can't go wrong with this classic. Delicious if you like boba and sweet brown sugar We also got 3 of the drinks as a combo and it came with a small box with half fries and half popcorn chicken. Stopping in for the first time, I had a Strawberry Stormy. It was too sweet for my liking and tasted like a melted creamsicle. Also, for the price, I found it to be a little bit expensive in my opinion. Unless the person you're with is paying for it, then it's good enough. Something added in the drink, if I'm not mistaken is called, "cheese foam." This ingredient creates a creamy texture to the drink and adds for a smooth taste with every sip. I can't say that I'm fan or not a fan of this ingredient. Every time I've had cheese foam in a drink, my taste buds don't know how to react. My friends chose the Taro Stormy and Mango Stormy I have to admit the cup is cute. Reusable for another drink, it makes a great cup if you take it home. With a slip grip, it's almost feels nonslip. I compare this to the plastic Starbucks reusable cups but slightly lighter in weight. The place looks dingy. From the color scheme to the flooring, I find it hard to believe they were okay with its grand opening. To me, presentation is the second half of something you're trying to sell, if not the first thing to lure people in. Outside, the building is perfect, as the retail flat is very modern, but it's when you walk in, I feel like the place needs help on the inside or a redesign. read more

Bought 2 drinks today: avocado stormy and house Vietnamese coffee. When I brought it to home to drink, it tastes nastiest that there's no green (avocado) milky flavor while coffee has this weird bitter taste (it wasn't brewed properly and lack of sweetened condensed milk). I had to throw away those disgusting drinks, wasting my time & money!
