Such a cute spot to get boba, the inside was nice and spacious with a pleasantly mellow vibe! The barista let me know beforehand what ingredients were out and I got my boba right away once I ordered. I want to start off by saying the food smelled good and I did not try it. My review is only for the tea/boba. This was the first time I went into this boba shop and I did not like the milk tea nor Thai tea that I had ordered. The boba was also hard. When I spoke to the owner about not likingthe taste of the teas she kept asking what I didn't like about it. To which I reiterated that I didn't like the taste of the tea or the boba. She states she was a business and I couldn't get my money back or return it. She did end up giving me HALF my money back and I left the drinks there, but she was rude and did not want to give me a full refund stating "that's not what big companies do either", which is not true. I told her I understood it was a small business and that's why I went into asking what could be done. I think she was just offended I didn't like the taste and honestly the Thai tea tasted like cigarettes and the milk tea like something went bad. read more

Love this place! It's close to my work so I'm here almost every other week for the popcorn chicken and mango smoothie w/boba. The chicken is DELISH, I get mild with the sweet chili sauce or ranch and and it's always good. At first I thought the price was a bit high ($9.50 at time of review) but you do get a good amount. The mango smoothie is always good as well, the boba is the perfect texture. However, I noticed that this place is now operating under a new name (Pho Saigon) when I came in today, 7/24/2023. They added a lot of food items to the menu, mainly pho. I'll have to come back for lunch when it's not so hot outside so I can try the food. The staff is always so polite here and I think the prices are fair. It's a really cute little neighborhood gem :) read more

I am sad to write this review, I used to order the spring rolls and they were delicious and 4 came in the order with this delicious sauce.m ( I believe the shrimp was cooked) Now, new order only has 2 and they were tasteless, simple and boring. Ordered food and waited almost an hour to get it. Someone who ordered after me got their order first? Only Jimmy was up front. I was going to refund my order but he offered me a free drink which helped the situation. He was super helpful, apologized for how long it was taking, and tried explaining what was going on. When the manager came out, they only tried to get me to try something else for next time and didn't even apologize for the wait. Will not be coming back. AVOID coming if you want your food in a timely manner. read more

The food here is phenomenal! I also enjoy the variety of boba drinks here. However, I wish the service was better. I came here a few months ago wanting to have a good time with my friends but there were a few incidents that ruined our experience. The food took a really long time to be served, which I don't mind but when I've been waiting nearly an hour, it's a problem. It was almost as if they had forgotten about my meal entirely. Not only that, they served me something I didn't order. Friendly employees,cozy lil spot for great flavors of authentic Asian cuisine ,my only problem is the place Is called boba tea zone,and the main ingredient the tea wasn't fresh & had that bad tea taste overpowering the the whole drink and I got the special buy 2 get 1 boba tea free , so I drank 3 of these guys in hopes by the second one I'd get past the bad taste of old tea ,the bobas were a bit hard also,maybe next time I can try there food as it smelled delicious.Blessings read more

Ive been here a couple of times and the service is slow because there's only one worker or one cook. The workers were not wearing masks, but they have a plastic screen up on the register. Right now its take out only. They dont have the full menu up on the walls. So check online to see whats available. The special of the day was not honored, and communication was hard with masks on and loudness. But yes the drinks are okay, a bit too sweet for me, and the food ive tried was okay as well. Not sure if id come back again, but I do recommend giving it a try. read more

Totally recommend this place! Very comfortable and relaxing. Great service, very quick to have your orders ready and even offer call ins. The food is VERY VERY good the bobas are as well. If you are someone that doesn't like your bobas super sweet just mention you want it light/medium/ or regular sweet and they will make it to anyones liking Overall I recommend anyone in the area or anyone outside of the area to please go and try some of their product promise you won't regret it read more

As much as I wanted to enjoy this place and not see it for its prior reviews, after my visit, I just couldn't. This place is located in the cut and feels kinda sketch for a boba shop to be posted at regardless but the interior looks nice. This place resembles for of a dine in vietnamese restaurant rather than an actual boba shop. They sell a bunch of different food dishes kind of like what you would see at a chinese or vietnamese restaurant. What I didnt like was that they ran out of boba and it was only 5pm on a sunday, I really don't get gow places with the name boba on their shop actually run out of boba They really are riding on the boba wave but still run out of boba, isn't this something that shouls be prepared especially for a "boba" shop? Took us about 20 mins for an order lf 3 drinks and It wasnt busy at all, although it did seem like they were understaffed. This really doesnt seem like the place you would feel welcomed to go back and have them readjust your drinks though, the cashiers seem kinda nice but I just get the vibe that things could go south real quick if you make them do any more extra work. The original black milk I ordered was okay, but the plastic was so low quality, when I punctured the top part with a straw the one side loterally cracked and everything leaked onto my cupholder in the car. Overall, the cashiers didnt seem attentive at all, the popcorn chicken was overpriced and low quality (soggy), and the cups were just flimsy and weak. I did not enjoy this place as it was a waste of both time and money. Would not come back or recommend to others since shops that are clearly better are a couple minutes drive towards chino hills or diamond bar area. Sucks, but this place really has potential. read more

I have been to lots of Vietnamese restaurants and this is my favorite. Their coffee was also very tasty! I'm picky about my Vietnamese coffee and I have to say that they are the best! I'm OCD so I was very happy to find it clean. I have been to lots of restaurants including other ethnic foods and this is one of the cleanest restaurant I have been to. I had wonderful service with no complaints. They are the only restaurant that offered to warm up my coffee if it gets cold. Normally by the time I'm done eating, my coffee gets cold and no one has offered to warm it up for me except Pho Trin. I love everything here and will be going back with my daughter. It was already hot outside but they had a little window that provided a nice cool breeze. Typically I feel like pho places are really warm and sometimes stuffy. But not here! Both times I came here I ordered the thai tea with no boba. Man I wish I could order a larger size because the thai tea is just too good here. Some places it is kinda watered down. This place taste just right. The staff/employees are nice and the service is super quick. Granted, when we order there is only ever one other person there. After we order the food comes in less than 10 minutes. I really like this place and wish more people would come. Its a great place to come when its rain or shine or you want to go some place on your lunch break! Ive tried a lot of pho places near and far and I am glad to have found this place.

Ranging from different vietnamese dishes to even some thai dishes. The pho was okay, not bad but my noodles were a little harder then i'd like. The broth is good though. My husband got some sort of lemongrass beef w/noodles - he said it was good. We also shared shaken beef w/noodles. It was good, not too bad. I think I'll stick to my places in OC however if i'm ever on this side of town and don't want to drive - I think Pho Rex is solid. Staff is also very attentive so that's good.

We ordered escargot with tamarind sauce, oysters with cheese, a lobster special, rau muống (water spinach) with garlic, glass noodles, and a ribeye steak. This isn't a typical buffet--each dish is cooked to order. It took about 15 minutes since there were only two chefs, but the wait was absolutely worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The lobster was a whole lobster with claws, and the ribeye was a generous cut served sizzling at the table. The portions are large, and our server kindly warned us ahead of time--we're glad we listened! The owner was friendly, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. If you are interested in booking your own event here, I recommend it. If you have no events coming up and just want some amazing food, still come here for that too! Amazing dishes are cooked and served here. It is mostly Vietnamese cuisine that you would find here, but hey... who doesn't enjoy this kind of cuisine? There is so much this restaurant has to offer. Not to mention there are weekly events; even a karaoke night. Lastly, if you enjoy sea snails, escargot, and don't want to drive out of the IE to the OC for some... just come here!
