I haven't dined in at Quan Nem Ninh Hoa yet so I can't speak on the service, but both of my takeout experiences have been great / easy. I've ordered the Hu Tieu Nam Vang ($15.50) twice now! Such a comforting Cambodian-style clear noodle soup loaded with seafood and sliced pork. The portions are generous, and the soup really hits the spot. It comes packed with toppings like quail eggs, imitation crab, fish cake and more + a side of raw bean sprouts, cilantro, and lemon to customize your bowl. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is located in the same plaza as GW Supermarket, tucked in the corner next to Dim Sum King.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely worth checking out if you're craving Vietnamese food. They also offer catering trays for select dishes.

This has become my new favorite Vietnamese spot since moving to West Covina. I absolutely love this place. The food tastes authentic, the quality is amazing, and everything is so rich and flavorful. You can really tell they care about the food they make. It's located on the corner to the right side of Hong Kong Plaza near Haven City Market, and honestly this restaurant really stood out to me. I already love this plaza, but this place quickly became one of my favorite spots there. One thing I really love is their pork spring rolls. They make them fresh when you order, and you can definitely taste the difference. They're so fresh, delicious, and honestly one of the best spring rolls I've had in a while. They also do catering, which I definitely plan on using in the future if I ever host a party or birthday because the food is just that good. I only had one issue during one of my visits. I can't eat cucumber, so I asked for no cucumber in both my pork dish and spring rolls. They accidentally still included it in my pork dish. Thankfully, when I brought it up, they fixed it quickly and apologized right away, which I appreciated a lot. I still love this place, but I do think it's important for people with allergies or food restrictions to double check their food before eating, just to be safe. Besides that, everything else has been amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has a really calm atmosphere with lots of greenery and that open, cozy Vietnamese restaurant feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers are also really kind and welcoming every time I come in. I also appreciate how authentic this place feels. Whenever I'm trying food from another culture, I always want something that feels genuine, and this place definitely gives me that experience. I come here a couple times a month now, and it's honestly one of my favorite places to eat. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the cucumber issue, but overall the food and experience are still amazing.

This is our go to Pho spot. We just had our twin son and daughter and we were right around the corner. Decided to try the limeade drink

This is one of my regular Vietnamese restaurant that I frequent in West Covina. My husband introduced me to this dish called Banh Xeo. It's a Vietnamese style crepe filled with various vegetables, shrimp, and pork. You get a side dish of lettuce leaves, pickled carrots and daikon, mint leaves, and cilantro. You also get fish sauce for dipping. This dish can be shared between two people. The Banh Xeo is massive and this location is the only one I know of that offers it in West Co. I like this crispy texture from the crepe and the crunch from the vegetables. I would classify this as a healthy appetizer. Service is good the few times I've been here. I also enjoy their spring rolls and dessert drink, Che Thai. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very spacious, there are plenty of tables for all party sizes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have flat screens along their walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have also placed a catering order for spring rolls in the past. They were completed on time and great for parties. I look forward to coming again. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this is a great option.

This was a nice little surprise. We chose this not knowing anything about it except for what was on Yelp. Really pleased with our choice! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was more spacious and gave out the Viet feel vibe with a lil modernization.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We knew that the food was going to be pretty authentic when all of the waitresses and waiters spoke Vietnamese and pronounced everything correctly and perfectly communicated in English too! We ordered the following : 1-5, 5 being the yummiest. *Hu tieu nam vang: 4.25! This dish was truly yummy. I haven't had this for a long time, and I truly enjoyed it. The broth was light and flavorful. It had the right amount of seafood and meat. The veggies refresh. It was not salty and you can actually taste the old school broth. The noodles have the right texture and chewy but not hard. *Com Bo Luc Lac: 3.75. The dish overall was pretty good. There could have been a little bit more meat since the chunks were pretty small. You can tell that it was not marinated because the flavor was really only in the sauce and the meat itself was bland. The cuts of meat are usually filet mignon, but you can tell that this was probably closer to xhuck steak. *Going Cuon and Nem cuon 4. These were good size and had a nice amount of meat and veggies. Was not overloaded with noodles. They provided the traditional sauce as well as the peanut sauce which were greatly flavored. I also ordered hot tea which they serve Jasmine tea. The flavor was just right and hot. It wasn't watered down or sitting for a while. It was perfectly brewed and went very well with the food. The service (3) is better than most Vietnamese restaurants. They took our order, and the orders came out right. They didn't check on you or come to see how the food was, but that is very common for authentic victims places. However, when we did ask for somebody, they were available.

We have been here twice already and they are very good at what they are known for. The spring roll (nem nuong) is very good and even better than Brodard in my opinion. Not only do they have many meat options but they are very stuffed. My recommendation is have them wrap it for you, you'll enjoy the food much more than the DIY one. I'm not paying more so I can do more work lol Positives: -reasonable prices -good quick and attentive service -[[HIGHLIGHT]]the size of the restaurant is good too, good for larger parties[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Negatives: -the do have a lot of items and it can be a hit or miss. Some of the items like thit nuong (pork) and ga nuong (grilled chicken) can be on the salty side. Overall 5/5 We've been here twice and will come back again to try other items. Of course we'll be getting spring rolls every time

I've been here a couple times before, but yesterday during Chinese New Year when most places were closed I was in a pinch and needed a spring roll platter for a party. I gave them a call and not only were they open, they had it ready pretty quickly. I ordered the 30 piece nem spring roll platter. It looked nice and presentable and they packed the sauces carefully. The sauce here is actually the star, especially the orange one, it's seriously good. The nem spring rolls themselves were solid and held up well for a party. Definitely a reliable spot when you need something quick, and I'll be coming back again.

Quan Nem Ning Hoa is a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant. It's part of a small chain with other branches in Northern California, specifically Sacramento and Elk Grove. The Los location established in August 2014. The restaurant's name and signature dish, Nem Nuong (marinated charbroiled pork sausage), originate from the Ninh Hoa district in Khanh Hoa Province, Vietnam. The restaurant is widely recognized for its DIY approach, where diners are provided with rice paper and warm water to wrap their own spring rolls with fresh herbs, vermicelli, and grilled meats. Their signature dish, Nem Nuong Cuon (pork spring rolls) is the best-selling item, a local alternative to the famous Brodard restaurant in Orange County. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is casual, clean, modern, and spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, service is slow and inattentive. Item we don't recommend is their Cuon Chay (tofu rolls), tofu is too chewy and tastes bland. Ample parking is available in the Haven City Plaza.

A hidden gem in Haven City Plaza, Quan Nem Ninh Hoa nestled in West Covina. It stands as a true authentic Vietnamese culinary haven. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As you cross the threshold a warm and inviting atmosphere envelops you setting the stage for an excellent dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food menu was vast as well as its drinks. I had a Banh Hoi Ga Nuong (vermicelli x chicken) and fresh young coconut juice. Food and drink were excellent. It was my first time here and it's already living up to my expectation. Staff are fantastic and professional. Food portion is good. Prices are very reasonable and match the quality. Service is spot on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant is clean, organized and affordable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Perfect for a quick supper. Plenty of parking spot bec it's in a large plaza. Overall, I had a scrumptious supper and enjoyed dining here. I highly recommend you visit.

I've been searching for a good, affordable Vietnamese restaurant and am so glad I found this spot in West Covina through Yelp. I've visited three times - twice for dine-in and once for takeout. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is clean, prices are reasonable, and most importantly, the food is excellent![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We've tried the Bánh Bèo rice cakes, Bánh Xèo crepes, Chè Thái tropical fruit drink, Cơm Sườn Trứng Chả Giò (pork chop, egg, eggroll), and Nem Nướng Cuốn rolls - which are my favorite. The peanut sauce and fish sauce are fantastic as well. Service is generally quick, though I've experienced a few hiccups: my Bánh Xèo was forgotten on my first visit, another order was missed on my second. We ended up canceling the orders for both visits. On my third takeout visit, a bag of leafy greens for my Bánh Xèo was left out. Good thing I haven't left the restaurant yet and checked my order and saw that it's missing so they gave it to me. Despite these small mistakes, I'm happy with my overall experience and will definitely be back. Just double-check your order, especially if it seems to be taking longer than expected.

The food here is just as good as it looks! The workers are so sweet, they went above and beyond. I was going to eat tofu out my boyfriends pho and instead they brought me a small bowl for tofu and broth just for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Incredible place and it's so pretty inside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can't wait to add it to my local favorites.

First time trying this place! I was very impressed with their spring rolls! Very delicious and fresh ingredients and cheaper than some other restaurants. The dipping sauce wasn't too sweet also. Their Pho was good too, lots of meats! Their grilled beef vermicelli was okay. The beef could be more tender but I like how it's not too burnt like most other restaurants. Lastly, their pork chop rice is good but I wish they had the Vietnamese steamed eggs instead of fried eggs. Overall, it was a good experience! My favorite dish is their spring rolls. I would come back for that! Service was attentive too! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is casual dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Very good food, but the prices here are astronomical…read more I ordered by phone because I was driving and didn't have the ability to do it online. I was shocked when I went in to pick up that my order (a grilled pork banh mi, an order of egg rolls, and an iced coffee) was freaking $32!! I didn't get an itemized receipt, so once I got back to my car, I went to their website to look up prices. 4 egg rolls are $12.50. That's $3 per egg roll! The sandwich is $11 and the coffee is $6. The kicker is that there's a combo--sandwich and coffee--for $15. They could've saved me some money, but they chose to not to in order to make a few extra bucks. Their prerogative, but in this economy, not cool to not help out. The result: a customer who's not coming back and who's posting about it to warn others. I normally don't do this because I'm aware that mom and pops are struggling. It's also possible that the menu prices on their website are out of date and they did give me the combo price, but THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS (!!) for a sandwich (great bread and tasty but sweet pork, a little underwhelming on the fillings overall), some egg rolls (with enough lettuce for each one, as well as sauce and do chua, but also a little underfilled), and a 16 oz cup of coffee with ice and condensed milk is pretty crazy. I can get the same meal nearby for at least $5 less or find other types of food that'll feed more people for the same price.

Parking: The place is located in a plaza. You won't have trouble finding a space to park…read more Inside: It's a small and cozy mom and pop shop that gives at home vibes. The inside has a few booth and table seatings. I would say no more than 15 tables total. Phở Tái Sách/ Pho w/ Rare Steak and Tripe (regular): The pho bowl came with a huge size portion of noodles, soup, rare steak and tripe. On top they garnished it with green onions, cilantro and thinly sliced white onions. The meat they used is very thinly sliced and tender. The tripe was also cooked well. If you have never had tripe before I would describe it as having a super mild taste and it's mostly there to adds texture. It tastes really great too because t soaks up the broth flavor. If you like chewy noodles or mushrooms with a bit of bite, you might like tripe. The pho noodles they used are the ones I love the most. It's a thin pho noodle and they cooked them perfectly. The broth is clear, has a good depth of flavor, not overly greasy and the salt amount they added is perfect. On the side they give you a plate of other garnishes, beansprouts, chili peppers, lime, and basil which you can add to your hearts content. Spring rolls: I loved these a lot. They were very fresh and stuffed. Inside the spring roll is shrimp, sliced pork, lettuce, basil, and vermicelli. This is served with a side of peanut sauce. Loved that the sauce had chunks of peanuts for crunch. Overall: All the staff are very friendly, and the pho tastes homemade and authentic. Definitely a solid go-to when you're craving something warm and comforting. I'm so glad I found this lovely gem! I can't wait to come back again. PSA - They offer vegan pho bowls and vegetarian spring rolls and egg rolls.
