It's the best place I've been coming since I was a young kid now my children and my granddaughter comes here

    Awesome service. Quick and plentiful.

Decent Chinese fast food. If you need cheap food to fill your belly, this is it. One box can feed to people in a pinch. Their egg rolls is great and probably the best thing there. Orange chicken was doughy and the chicken was dry, Great servers.

I am really glad China Express is so close to my new home! It was my first time here last night, and my partner and I ordered the combo B with boba teas. I loved the jalapeño chicken, and I think this place is great for comfort food and takeout. It's also super affordable! The combo B was large enough to share with another person and still be full. Boba tea was good. All of that plus a generous tip was still under $20! Service was quick and friendly, the place was clean, and they even have $5 cloth masks available. I was a little worried by some of the negative reviews I read on here (I saw more positive ones on Google), but I'm glad we stopped in anyway. It's no-frills, and although there are some fancier places in the area (and so much amazing Chinese food or boba places to pick from in nearby Walnut and Diamond Bar, and well, all over California), this is still a well-priced, great option for when you want Chinese/Cantonese-American comfort food.

$49 worth of not great quality, you get what you buy.

Ordered here using doordash, got a call from them that our order couldnt be completed because they were out of those items which was fine, it happens. Then waited over and hour and half for the food only to be missing over half our order. $49 for all this and 2/5 quality. Not great.

The dining room is beautifully laid out, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing dinner with family or meeting up with friends. Our waiter was one of the highlights of the experience--friendly, hilarious, and genuinely attentive without ever feeling overbearing. Great service can make or break a meal, and he made us feel welcome from start to finish. Now for the food... absolutely delicious. The Orange Chicken had the perfect balance of crispy texture, sweet citrus flavor, and just the right amount of tang. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was cooked perfectly--crispy, tender, coated in a creamy sauce that wasn't overly sweet, with fresh candied walnuts that added the perfect crunch. Both dishes came out hot and fresh. Everything about this meal--from the service to the food to the ambiance--made for a fantastic dining experience. If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant in the Pomona area with generous portions, flavorful dishes, and outstanding hospitality, this is definitely worth a visit. I'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

That's basically half the retail cost of an actual head of cabbage. I bet it's the actual cost wholesale. There's being cost conscious and there is being cheap and unserious about descent customer service. Here's a thought, instead of weighing the amount of greens you place in a bowl at the start of the salad build, how about weighing what the customer purchases at the end? Much better model for customer satisfaction and I bet your revenue will increase as well. Until then, stay away from these cheapskates....

This restaurant is really aesthetically pleasing and in a really cute quaint "Main Street" type area. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and he was patient while he waited to take our order. I tried the Orange Chicken dinner that came with egg drop soup, egg roll, pork wonton, salad, fried rice, and orange chicken. The prices were comparable to other spots, and the food was really good! My youngest son got the Kung pao chicken plate and my oldest got the walnut shrimp and they absolutely loved it! Definitely going to keep this place in mind anytime we are near Pomona

The lunch menu is honestly hard to beat-lots of options, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and prices that make you do a double take in the best way. Every plate comes out hot, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in the food, not just rushing things out. I tried the lunch special combo and was seriously impressed. The orange chicken entrée was perfectly cooked--rich, savory, and well-seasoned without being overly fried or greasy. The white rice was fluffy and fresh, and the egg roll made the meal feel complete rather than an afterthought. The iced tea was cold, sweet, and tasty as well. You also get a good variety to choose from, so it's easy to find something you'll love whether you're into classic favorites or more traditional dishes. Service is quick and efficient, which makes it perfect for a lunch break. The staff stays friendly and keeps things moving without making you feel rushed. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to sit and actually enjoy your meal. What really stands out is the value--you're getting restaurant-quality food at prices that feel almost too good to be true. It's the kind of place you end up returning to again and again for lunch because it consistently delivers on both taste and affordability. Definitely recommend this place!
