Normally really solid. I come here often. Just had a weird interaction like I was inconveniencing one of the two employees after I asked if they were open 17 min before closing. I came in and knew exactly what I wanted. One woman answered and was super nice. The other employee just stated what was on his mind and I guess what I was worried about- it being late. We love coming here for their Bowls! Ordered the Hulk Bowl, Power Bowl, and Original Acai Bowl with added Mangoes and Pineapples. All yummy! Other food smells and looks good, will have to try another time. The staff is always friendly and helpful with suggestions. They also give student discounts, be sure to mention if someone in your party is a student. The place has good music playing, and have seen people work/study in here. I've eyed Phillips Ranch Health Bar for their smoothies and sandwiches, and I'm disappointed that I hadn't gone sooner! The health bar is in a plaza not too far from Cal Poly Pomona and there's ample parking. I stopped by one weekend for a quick breakfast, and I was told that they could make any of their paninis/sandwiches open-faced. I highly recommend going for their caprese panini! It did take a minute for me to get my order (I was the only one in the cafe almost the whole time I was there), but my sandwich came out fresh and hot. I did order it with chicken as a protein add-on, but I would skip it because it was a little rubbery. Other than that, this place is no nonsense, is actually connected with the pharmacy next door, and is clean with a handful of tables and a comfy couch. Service is great to boot. I ordered a green power smoothie and when it was served, it was warm. I asked the girl if it's suppose to be cold since it's a smoothie and she said yes so she takes it back and blends it with ice. The smoothie was slightly cold but watered down bad. I had gotten the Green Power smoothie with vanilla protein powder and wow so good, not chalky what so ever like most places.. I also enjoyed seeing this tally marking that is located where you pick up orders, I had only gotten this part but there were tally's for Ramadan, st pattys day & palm Sunday which I felt was very special for the community. They also offer a student discount! I was already indecisive, but after Karen and Jordan started describing their favorite shakes, it honestly made choosing even harder because everything sounded good. I finally landed on the PB&J, and it was legit tasted like I took a bite straight out of a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, but in shake form. I also tried the Green Power with vanilla protein basically a greens + protein veggie milkshake and surprisingly... really good. Smooth, not grassy, and super easy to drink post-workout. I had a really great experience visiting this business once again. Their consistency is like no other. I specifically enjoyed the very berry pineapple and bagel with cream cheese prepared by workers Andrew and Myah, and the supervisor who was present present, Brian, did a fantastic job of explaining the business.
