    Chicken Pho

This is a small little shop that serve Viet food. The flavor of the broth, amazing. The chicken was okay. This place feels authentic and they always provide everything you need.

A tiny mom and pop place run by an older couple who work hard to bring out your food quickly once you order it. Only 4 small tables inside and more outside. It started raining as soon as we arrived and the group of 6 guys who just finished eating inside were super nice to quickly vacate so that we could have seats right away. They seemed friendly with the owner and were super respectful to him as they said goodbye. We ordered the small beef noodle (3/5) with extra noodles on the side and the chicken banh mi sandwich(4/5), as well as a Vietnamese coffee (4/5).

A Hidden Gem of Authenticity and Flavor with Affordable Prices During a spontaneous search for a pho spot in the area, we stumbled upon Yume House Pho after reading positive Yelp reviews. Tucked away and charmingly unassuming, this cozy spot, a true hole in the wall, has an undeniable charm that goes beyond its small size. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the elderly Vietnamese owner, whose friendly demeanor transcended the language barrier. The ambiance exuded a sense of history, suggesting that Yume House Pho has been a local favorite for quite some time. With only three small tables, the intimate setting added to the restaurant's unique character. The menu includes an array of different kinds of pho, banh mis, various egg/spring/veggie rolls, combination fried rice, and filet mignon over rice. There's a comprehensive drinks menu as well that includes soda, iced and hot teas, Thai tea, milk tea (not sure if it comes with boba or not), various smoothie flavors, and of course Vietnamese iced coffee. Opting for the filet mignon pho, fresh spring rolls with shrimp, and a grilled chicken banh mi, we were pleasantly surprised by the extremely reasonable pre-pandemic prices. A bowl of pho ranges from $8.25 to $10.75, and the fresh spring rolls with shrimp are only $4--an absolute steal for the quality of the food. To cater to our appetites, we shared an extra side of noodles, though the exact cost escapes my memory--either an additional $1 or $2, super reasonable. Additionally, the health inspection rating of A provided further reassurance, underlining the commitment of Yume House Pho to cleanliness and hygiene. With the grilled chicken banh mi, each savory bite was a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. The succulent grilled chicken, nestled within the warm, crusty baguette, was complemented by a medley of fresh herbs and crisp vegetables, creating a harmonious fusion of textures and tastes. It undeniably contributed to the overall positive experience, adding a tantalizing note to our culinary exploration at Yume House Pho. As the restaurant gradually filled with people picking up takeout orders, we observed a regular customer who comfortably settled in at the neighboring table to savor her bowl of pho. It reinforced the sense of community that small establishments like Yume House Pho often foster. In conclusion, our visit to Yume House Pho was a delightful journey into authenticity and flavor. The combination of good food, reasonable prices, and the charming presence of the elderly owner left a lasting impression. We look forward to returning when we're in the area, not only to savor the delicious offerings but also to support this small business with its heartwarming sense of tradition. The periodic checks from the elderly owner ensured that our needs were met, adding a personal touch to the excellent service. The A-rated health inspection provided an additional layer of confidence in our dining experience.

Small mom and pop shop that has decently priced items. I got their iced coffee before which was made with powder instead of the typical drip and condensed milk but wasn't too bad. This time I ordered a pork and vermicelli plate but... short an egg roll and the meat looks like compared to the picture. Has some flavor but not something that'll keep me coming back to them

Nice little hole in the wall place. The sweet elderly man tends to customers and maintains the dining area. The food is so good and the whole place gives a super authentic feel. Prices are great

Such a hidden gem in Pomona! The owners are so sweet and their prices are so affordable! We ordered the taro smoothie and 2 banh mis and it did not disappoint! (and didn't break the band either!)

I ordered by phone and they called me back within 20 minutes to tell me my order was ready. This place is small and hidden but so delicious. The service was so nice. It is such an authentic vibe and the food was fresh. I ordered beef noodle and shrimp spring rolls. They give you the noodles, mint, bean sprouts, lemon wedge, hoisin and sriracha on the side for to-go orders. Wonderful place. Highly recommend and great price!

This is a family owned restaurant run by an elderly couple. The man at the front has trouble speaking English and tries his best to bring out food quickly, so be kind and patient, try to take the tray out yourself because I saw him struggle. Considering the prices I think the 1 star reviews are being incredibly unfair. Go pay for $15 pho elsewhere then, I have no idea what they expect. I think it's decent for what you pay for. I left them a tip because their food is priced pretty low. I'll come back.

It's a family tradition to stop by here before we continue on our road trip to Las Vegas. Been doing that every since I was a kid and up until adulthood until my parents decided it was better if they just went on vacation on their own without me and my brother. I believe they got big enough to absorb the restaurant right next door. Service is as with most other Asian places. They're there, you get food, and that's that. Sometimes by the fact of just being Vietnamese you can converse with other Viets, but they don't push it here. Perfect, casual ambiance. But can get busy for the lunch rush, at least when we visited. As always, I get the Pho Tai, my go to for every pho place. Super flavorful and full tasting broth, decently tender enough meat with a normal amount (not too generous, but not skimping out either). Noodles had the perfect texture. You get all of the veggies and other toppings quite generously as well. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but for the times I visited it hit the spot.

Everyone working there was friendly. It was a bit busy, so it was a little loud inside, but the energetic vibe was nice. Spring Rolls: We started with 4 spring rolls. They cut them in half for easy sharing, and the peanut sauce is absolutely phenomenal. Mains: I ordered the pork Banh Mi and my daughter got the Hu Tieu. Both dishes were delicious! The portions are huge--neither of us could finish, so we were happy to take home leftovers for later. Definitely left with happy bellies! Drinks: We both got Vietnamese coffees. They were super strong--even after asking for a bit extra milk to lighten them up! If you love a serious caffeine kick, you'll love these. Overall: Our bill came out to around $58 total, which was well worth it given how much quality food we got. We will definitely be back!

Also a huge plus having tripe and meatballs because not everyone likes tendon. My favorite part was how piping hot it was served. I threw in a huge plate of bean sprouts and basil and the soup was still very warm when finishing up. The noodles were also surprisingly perfect still even after sitting in the hot broth.
