Everything we ordered was delicious! The mango bingsu was refreshing, perfectly sweet, and made with fresh mango. The toast was also excellent, buttery, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Both desserts were beautifully presented and perfect for sharing. I would definitely come back for the mango bingsu and toast again!

I come to Cafe Spot pretty often for either matcha or coffee and it's great-- the atmosphere is clean and quiet. If I come for a food, my friend and I always get the Bagel & Lox and the wait is usually a 30 minutes or more sometimes. We understand when the business flow may delay food preparation, but the portion we are served is different every time. Today, we had waited almost an hour for our food because our order was mistakenly lost and we were gifted 2 cheesecakes for hospitality which we appreciated, but our bagels were the flattest we've ever received them. It's a little frustrating when it's a flat price for an item and we don't know if we'll get lucky that day or not.

Drink: 4/5 Chai cloud latte, sweet, and sort of corny? I'm not sure exactly how to describe the flavor but it's your usual chai cinnamon but with a slight hint of corn aftertaste? It's not unusual but definitely a surprise. I personally think the drinks here are on the sweeter side. I've gotten their match and vanilla lattes and both are sweeeet! Service: 5/5 Quick and personable. The girl at the counter was very sweet and quick to help me with my order Ambiance: 4/5 It's really bright inside with the all white and beige interior. You'd easily get a migraine if you stay for too long xD It's modern and sleek, your typically millennial beige decorations lol Overall: 4.5/5 (rounding to a 5)

I decided to try their Vietnamese coffee and it was pretty good! Although, it wasn't 100% authentic, I pleasantly enjoyed the drink and loved how well the cream foam went with the drink. It wasn't that bitter and was decently sweet. The service was good. The server took my orders and answered any questions I had. The drink was quick to be made as well. Inside is very nice! Very clean and organized and there's a decent amount of seating. They have some holiday decorations as well which is cool.

They did a nice job brightening up the space with their remodel. We had yuzu and green tea drinks and they were good. Nothing super special, but what I expected. Would return if in the area.

ate here with Erica and got her matcha cake, which tasted a bit bland...was not impressed. But! Her strawberry yogurt drink was like melted strawberry ice cream that was too good. I do not usually order the fruity sweet drinks because usually like chocolate type of sweetness, but I wish that I got this order! Instead, I got the dalgona latte, which was pleasant. I liked it, but watch out for that first latte sip because very hot! Took about 10 to 15 minutes for my drink to finally cool down, haha service was good. they were very sweet and did not make me feel overwhelmed with ordering because I took my time to read the menu and decide what I ultimately wanted. they took their time with me, so their patience goes unnoticed by me. very bright white lights that give a sort of hospital feel...at least it was easy to read the menu, which they have conveniently set at the front of the cashier desk. many chairs and wooden booths to sit at. bathroom was not restocked , which was :/, but clean enough. they also have another room next to the bathroom if you do not want to be around the right white lights, but no one was there. so, I recommend that you wait for your order in the main room before you go to that other one. Would come here again to try that shiny and round chocolate mousse cake! Wish that I got that with my order

Came back and tried the strawberry matcha this time -- sooo good. The matcha flavor was balanced perfectly, not too strong or bitter, and paired really well with the sweetness and slight tang of the strawberry purée. Super refreshing and definitely something I'd order again.

Pistachio Cremem Latte & Crème Brûlée Honey Toast
    Stacy I.

Crème Brûlée Honey Toast!! Wow! Not too sweet, mild honey flavor. The bread had a crunchy crust, but soft fluffy middle that absorbed all the custard from the Crème Brûlée. Pleasantly light dessert, wasn't heavy, left my sweet tooth satisfied. The Pistachio Crème Latte was a nice surprise. I could taste the richness of the pistachios, the cream while thick was not heavy. It complimented the latte well.

Beautiful interior, a lot of seating. Employees were nice, helped me decide what to order. Reminds me of cafe dabang, a unique korean cafe and the wall/color scheme definitely gives LA. idk if corn bingsoo is my fav because it was really just syrups with the ice, and i like other toppings in my bingsoo. I would come back and try the injeolmi next time. Also tried the sweet potato cheesecake, which was light n fluffy but sweet potato flavor is a bit overpowering so i would get another flavor.

This café has a limited menu focused on sweet drinks and teas, along with a small selection of Korean-inspired desserts. The space is bright, clean, and a nice place to catch up with friends. Service, however, felt a bit dismissive. I recommend asking for your drink less sweet unless you enjoy very sugary treats. I do miss the more extensive menu that Café Noir offered under the previous ownership.

So aesthetic, from the giant mirror at the door to the warm-toned tables and to the dessert plating. I absolutely loved the creme brulee honey bread. It was crunchy on the top, soft in the bottom and sweet overall.

Been here a few times for coffee with a friend and dessert after eating at the nearby restaurants in the same plaza. This used to be a different cafe, I love that this new one is so bright and open! There's plenty of space for catching up or studying. The drinks are pretty good, and their honey breads are really good! I haven't tried the macarons or cheesecake yet. Thumbs up for the convenient location and overall amazing cafe in the area!

Some friends of mine wanted to matcha really bad before dinner so I tagged along to come here. I don't really drink matcha so I was hoping they would have other options. I'm so glad that they did! I ended up getting a Green Grape Ade which was actually pretty refreshing! The ordering was quick and I got my drink pretty fast too! The inside was cute and they even had a Christmas tree to keep up with the holiday season. Not a bad spot!

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #117…read more We visited Onit Cafe on a rainy Saturday afternoon in June, hoping to score an after lunch boba. Sprinting through the downpour, as we hadn't expected the rain, we threw ourselves into this modern, yet industrial shop, where we saw a couple of people sitting inside like us to wait out the rain. We placed our order with the friendly bobarista and got our drink within a couple of minutes. Jasmine Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The milk tea has a heavy powdery creamer flavor, but it's not gritty or silty at all. Unfortunately it's so heavy that the drink tastes almost entirely like creamer with only a tiny bit of flowery finish. It's not the most pleasant flavor due to this quality. While the creamer is on the heavier end, the sweetness is not; at half sweet it's not too sweet. The boba is very good, super bouncy and chewy with basically the ideal texture. They aren't marinated that long so aren't quite that sweet or flavorful. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Onit Cafe is one of those rare places where I liked the boba far more than the drink. I don't visit Federal Way too often, but if I'm even down there again, I'd give it another shot to see if I can get a better drink next time. I've been to other OBC locations in Seattle and Woodinville…read more However, this location made me question their food safety practices. Firstly, the inside was clean and welcoming. There was one employee working, but it did not look very busy inside. We ordered 4 dubai chewy cookies, 1 taro croffle, 1 small galaxy ade, and 1 large taro/oreo smoothie. Our total came out to around $60. Dubai chewy cookies were very tasty, I am a huge fan of dubai chocolates. My galaxy ade tasted very watered down, barely any grape flavor, and little to none carbonation. The taro/oreo smoothie was decent. The basque cheescake was flavorful. The taro croffle was actually very good, better compared to the other locations. My main concern was the fact that I found some sort of hair in my croffle. We had already eaten some of the croffle and we brought it up to the employee. He told us it is a sugar strand and showed us an example. Yet, when I pulled the strand out of the croffle, it was more attached to the taro cream and it had no similar texture to the sugar strand. The sugar strand should melt and break easily but this strand did not, it was also more like a white-ish color. I'm thinking it was maybe a pet hair. The employee was very friendly about it and made us a new croffle free of charge.

The Earl Grey Cake was great. It had a great consistently for a cake and you could taste the Earl Grey. The Brown Sugar Matcha Milk Tea was not my favorite. It was not as sweet as I was expecting out of a brown sugar milk tea drink. You also couldn't really taste the matcha either. The tapioca in the milk tea was plain and not soaked in brown sugar like other cafes/bubble shops. The Yokurt Blue Ocean drink was refreshing! It was surprisingly really good. It made me consider ordering a second one. The customer service here was good. A very friendly environment with lots of drinks and treats to choose from to order!

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #115…read more This is one of three Sunright Tea Studio locations in King County and is by far the largest in terms of size. It's the only one that has actual seating and tables, which makes it a much better location to relax in and slowly sip on drinks. We visited on the way down to Portland, hoping to get a caffeine pick-me-up before the long rush-hour fueled traffic on the way down. This location has two kiosks for easy ordering, although in less busy times, the bobaristas are happy to take orders and answer questions. Fragrant really condensed milk and extra cane sugar for sweetness. Slight fruit essence. regular ice on a hot day almost all gone within five minutes. About 3:1 ratio tea to milk Boba great soft yet really chewy and bouncy. Compresses soft layer on outside. Fragrant Oolong Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Regular Ice, House Milk w/ Brown Sugar Boba ($7.25) - As the name implies, this drink really is quite fragrant, with the somewhat fruity and floral taste that is similar to an osmanthus oolong. It's rich from the addition of condensed milk - in fact, this drink seems to have more dairy in it compared to most boba shops. Watching the bobarista assemble the drink, I saw perhaps a third of the cup filled with milk and condensed milk before adding the tea. I ordered the drink with regular ice and it wasn't nearly enough to survive the hot day - within 5 minutes of pulling out, all the ice was gone. The boba is great. It's soft yet really chewy and bouncy. There's a compressible soft layer right on top that's pleasing on the tongue. This was my first time at this location of Snowy Village, and it's been years since I've visited any of the others because IMO the quality has dropped off since the U District days. 1) We walked in and the smell was rancid. Smelled like bad milk, bad/sharp cheese, mixed with hot dairy and chemical cleaning products. So unpleasant we had to cover our noses with our shirts the entire time, and my sister even had to step outside to breathe. 2) There was only one employee working and drowning in orders when we came in at 9pm. Understandably close to closing time. Self-ordering kiosk was doing half the work. The employee didn't greet anyone walking in and only spoke to call out the names of the orders. 3) We finally got our order. Strawberry and Taro bingsoos with extra condensed milk, and a taiyaki trio. The taiyaki dough had unfortunately gone bad. We all tasted small pieces because we couldn't believe it, and it was true. It smelled okay, but the aftertaste was strongly bitter/sour and chemically. 4) I flagged down the employee to let them know that the dough had gone bad. He just said "ok do you want a refund?" I kindly said that would be appreciated, and he said "ok" grabbed the box, and went back to work. I was confused and had no idea if I was supposed to do anything next. Im used to refunds being processed on the spot and having to sometimes provide my card again. I waited a few minutes and flagged him down again to ask him if I needed to do anything, and without moving from the kitchen, he said no he'll find my order and I'll get the refund. 5) We poured the extra condensed milk all over our bingsoo, but then realized that there was hardened condensed milk at the bottom of the little cup that it came in. This only happens when the condensed milk is left out. When tasting it by itself, we realized the condensed milk was spoiled too :( I know working in understaffed environments is hard. Most likely, he was leaving things out because orders were back to back and he didn't have time. So I leave this review in hopes that management schedules more people, and improves their processes for food handling safety. Also, I'm disappointed to see so many business taking the humanity out of customer service. Self serve kiosks are replacing workers who can answer questions, provide recommendations, and represent the company in a warm way. Companies should invest in humanity again. As of now I don't see any refund for the taiyaki. I am hoping the whole order is refunded due to the condensed milk too. Order #24 on Wednesday 5/20 approximately 9PM.
