    Worst place EVER!!!! THE LADY WAS SO VERY RUDE. She destroyed my dog. They gave her a horrible cut, and didn't even ask us. Very horrible!! Do NOT RECOMMEND. I didn't even recognize her when I picked her up. It was insane and I'm very mad. Not to mention $87 which is so much.

    I would not recommend Paws & Friends to anyone. My Puppy was needing to be boarded for the first time this past weekend and when I picked her up from her 4 hour evaulation I was informed that she was accepted. when I dropped her off the next day I was told by a young man (whom was working alone and did not have kind things to say about the people that helped me the day before) that I when I picked her up I would need to pay for an extra day I picked her up after 2pm, and pick up was until noon. After my trip I arrived to pick up my dog at 1:30p which I assumed would keep me from having to pay an extra day. I was greeted by Donna, whi was very friendly and informed me that she could not release my dog to me until 2p because the system would not allow her to. I told her that I had other things I need to do but if i had to sit in the office and wait 30 minutes for the System to release my dog I would but I wasn't going to pay the extra day. She said that she would get her Manager and see what she could do. With me, my 8 y/o son and girlfriend standing in th office, a women burst through the door into the office yelling at me an pointing, telling me that I am lying and she was with him when he told me the pick up rules and I was wrong. I felt attacked and disrepected. Then when I told her that I felt like she was attacking me she says " I was going to waive the extra day" first off it wasn't after 2p so I hadn't assesed that fee, and second, was she going to add the extra day because she was mad that I arrived befor 2p? I asked her her name and she snaps at me, Nicki, The Owner! I told her that this was horrible customer service but at this point she stopped communicating with me or looking at me, and proceeded to charge me for the extra day and left the office. My puppy came home with a horrible Eye infection that she still has, and when I tried to reach out to Nicki she refuses to return my call.I heve never delt with an owner of an establishment that sets such a horrible Customer Service example for her employees, doesn't communicate with her customers, and lies about being present in a prior conversation. Nicki did not help a situation that started calm by elevating it by busting into the office yelling at me and treating me like I was trying to get over on her rather than just making her pick up policy more clear. If you cannot pick up your pet between 12-2p then just say pick up your pet before 12p or pay for an extra day.

    Review I am super…read moresatisfied with the results of the training we received from Brodie with a Dobie!!!! At first glance, I thought my little Bernedoodle didn't need this much training....looking at his page I thought he only trained guard and/or service dogs..... my sweet little Dottie only needed basic obedience/manners. I quickly learned Brandon was just what she (and I) both needed. From evaluation to graduation he was the perfect mix of stern and gentle with us both to get the results we agreed I was looking for. From sit/stay to heel to loose leash walks to place and impulse control he made it easy and stress free for us.... I believe it was a lot easier for him to teach my Dottie to understand human than it was to teach me to speak dog... When my schedule unexpectedly got busy he was not only understanding but flexible enough to modify our plan from private lessons to board and train and we even had a stent where he had to board while I had to travel in order to not have a gap in her training program. Graduation was bitter sweet but I am comforted knowing we will meet again for different levels of training . Side note.....my daughter called me after her first visit after graduation and said.... For the first time EVER my Dottie did not jump all over her when she came in the door as if she didn't even know her any more..... Noooooo!!!!! she was just waiting for permission

    So I came to Brandon with my hyper pitbull who was desperately needed obedience training! He would…read morepull so hard he actually dislocated my shoulder twice! He's a great dog and I wanted him to become my service dog. He's great with his service he provides I just need him to behave. Well Brandon worked his magic and now my boy walks calmly next to me with a loose lead, sits, lies down, stays, will leave food alone (even if it's in his face!)and will wait until he is called! It's amazing! Brandon is AMAZING! I was skeptical but He is a totally different dog now and a joy to have around! I definitely recommend Brandon for all your dog training needs! He's got the gift!

After I reached out, the manager took the time to thoroughly investigate the issues I raised, review the phone calls, and discuss what happened with the staff. Most importantly, they took accountability for the communication breakdowns and acknowledged where things could have been handled better. My biggest concern was the grooming service, and management offered a refund for the grooming, which I felt was a fair resolution. While I was disappointed with several aspects of my dogs' stay, I do appreciate a business that listens to customer feedback, conducts proper due diligence, and works to make things right. For that reason, I have updated my rating from my original review and increased it to four stars. While there is still room for improvement in communication and execution, I appreciate the professionalism shown by management in addressing my concerns and their willingness to stand behind their services. Before resolving: I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Meadowlake Pet Resort and will not be returning. Before my dogs' stay, I called a week in advance to provide updated feeding instructions and grooming requests. I specifically requested that both dogs be groomed on Monday morning and that I be called immediately afterward. Instead, they were groomed on Sunday without my knowledge, and I never received a call. By 2:00 PM on Monday, I had to call myself to find out what was going on. What frustrates me most is that my dogs were apparently groomed and bathed only to be placed back into a boarding environment afterward. To make matters worse, they were not taken out for playtime on both Sunday and Monday, despite the fact that I paid for two play sessions. As a result, they spent unnecessary time confined when I was paying for additional services. When I picked them up, they smelled bad enough that I had to bathe them myself after returning home from my wedding and travel. Having to re-bathe dogs that were supposedly just groomed is unacceptable. I was also disappointed that the boarding location I specifically requested and was told would be available was not where my dogs were actually housed. Had I known that request would not be honored, I would have appreciated honest communication. Additionally, I paid for the Hotel Plus package, but based on my experience, I am not convinced my dogs received all of the services included. I was under the impression that photos were part of the package, yet I never received any updates or pictures during their stay. The grooming itself was also disappointing. The haircut looked as though only a few hairs were trimmed. Both dogs still had long coats despite the Texas heat, and nobody contacted me to discuss how I wanted them styled. When I expressed concerns and requested that they be re-bathed, I was told I would have to pay additional charges. What stands out most is the lack of communication. When I called the week before, there was no issue making note of feeding instructions because they involved an additional charge. However, there seemed to be very little effort made to communicate about grooming changes, boarding arrangements, playtime, or any concerns that arose during the stay. Overall, I feel I was overcharged for services that were either not performed as requested or not performed to an acceptable standard. This experience was frustrating, disappointing, and not worth the premium price paid. Unfortunately, I will not be bringing my dogs back.

They have a small outside area for play two large inside areas for indoor play, one for small and large dogs. I was also told they have a puppy play area upstairs for young pups who aren't completely vaccinated yet, which is so nice. I came with my dog for corgi meetup day. I had to sign a waiver before going in. They had the pools out, balls, toys, for the dogs to enjoy outside. My dog was the first to jump in the pool and had lots of zoomies outside. He got a little hot so we decided to come inside for indoor play. One of the employees told me during normal hours that they actually have a policy established for the dogs to be inside for indoor play if it's above triple digit temperatures. I thought that was awesome since it's been incredibly hot outside. Indoor play had balls, tunnels, lil ramps and bridges to climb on. I thought this was a great place for your dog to play and stay with great helpful employees.
