My mother took our Havachon puppy here to get a grooming since our normal groomer is unavailable…read more Our puppy has curly-ish hair and he's mildly fluffy but he has dense & short hair so he's not prone to matting or tangles. His haircut looked an absolute mess as they left parts of him longer than others AND left choppy spots. Not only was the haircut a mess but they decided that he magically had hair knots in his ears so they decided to PLUCK it out which has resulted in my puppy developing an ear infection. When a groomer finds an issue with a pet they should be advised to talk to the owner about any "solutions" prior to them performing anything. This was not done....We also did not find out about this UNTIL after we visited the vet and called the groomers and that is when they informed us about the ear plucking. His ears were so irritated that his ear canal started bleeding and developing puss. You could only imagine how uncomfortable this is for a PUPPY. I do not recommend this place at all.

We've taken our dog to other grooming places before and have never had issues like this. The woman at the front desk--an older/middle-aged Black woman--wasn't the nicest. She seemed a bit unsure of what she was doing, which happens, but what bothered us more was her overall attitude. If you're dealing with customers and their pets, basic friendliness goes a long way--and that just wasn't there. What stood out even more was the woman who I believe is the owner. While I was waiting for my dog, I watched her talk endlessly to a customer--just rambling on about who knows what. It wasn't a warm or engaging conversation; it felt more like the customer was stuck listening, and you could tell they were trying to politely escape. But beyond the talking, what really rubbed me the wrong way was how she treated her staff. There was a vibe--like she wasn't the kindest or most genuine with them. It's not something you want to feel in a place where people are trusting you with their pets. And here's what really pushed me to write this review: my dog's tail was left looking choppy and uneven. It was the most noticeable part of his grooming, and it just wasn't done well at all. That's not something I expect from a professional grooming service. To top it off, a friend of mine went in a few days later and had her own odd experience. That same front desk associate offered her dog food that was about to expire. She took it but found it even more strange that the lady confidently told her it was about to expire and that was why she was giving it to her to try--and honestly, so did I. That's not the kind of customer experience that inspires confidence. Overall, between the poor grooming, the awkward energy, and the unprofessional vibe, we won't be coming back.

This is a large and truly impressive state-of-the-art veterinary hospital complete with exam & treatment rooms, labs, O.R., rehab, grooming and boarding. Upon high recommendations, we made an appointment to take my grandson's Preschool mascot in for a "checkup." We were immediately greeted by Ms. Melody who was very sweet and accommodating. The waiting room is divided with one side for canines and the other for their small feline friends. Dr. Collin Hummel ushered us in! He was gracious & lots of fun--sharing all about the facilities and giving us a full tour. The staff is always busy tending to their patients but warm & welcoming. How I wish they had a sister healthcare place in Broward, but if I lived in Fort Bend County, Texas, this would be the choice for all of my Nala's healthcare and grooming needs.

On the phone Mr. Booker seemed to understand what I wanted. I was told it would be all good... I was not. When I showed up I should've known... I showed up 4 minutes early then was told to walk my dog on the grass (so the "grass" was in between the parking lot isles which had glass) but I had trust they'd be nice then they plopped him in a crate while yelling to get a leash. I was like how do they have 155 reviews at 4.7. It must be for a good reason right?! As I went to my car a grandma was dropping off a dog at the same time so it made me feel better. When I picked him up...He then said "half his eyelashes were cut"!! As a dog mom I thought okay maybe he moved? Then when their only payment is cash or Zelle (red flag/or supporting local) he mentions my dog scratched him and I lied about the size of my shih tzu. I pick up my dog and look at his front nails and they looked ok. I should've looked at the back. When I brought Chewie into my car to see his brother they are usually so excited... Chewie immediately ran underneath my car seat and didn't get out til the garage door closed while I parked...at my house. I was livid. Then they didn't mention they cut my dogs quick "because it happens a lot", but they did mention they cut Chewie's eyelashes. My dog was so scared I could not reach to pet him once. So I called the owner the story changed 4 times. Started with "he wanted to jump off...He jumped but we got him...Then he had the lead on and tried to jump..." then finally "he could never jump w the lead on." So who knows the story because their cameras don't work-I asked. He has been boarded for many vacations and groomed many times and never showed this behavior. While on the phone with the owner I asked to see the area they were bathed in..he said that was not possible. I just wanted to see how it could've differed from his previous groomers. My dog left normal and now she is not her normal self at all! she won't interact at all. I truly believe my dog was left there by herself with no one monitoring or watching after her. They don't even let you in to see what the place looks like. You try your best to support black owned businesses and stuff like this happens. I truly wish I would have NEVERRRRRRRR taken my dog here!
